PIDA Controller Design by CDM

  • A design of PIDA (Proportional-Integral-Derivative-Acceleration) controller for the third-order plant using the CDM (Coefficient Diagram Method) is presented. Using CDM, the closed-loop system with the designed PIDA controller can be made stable and satisfied both transient and steady state response specifications without any adjustment. The effect of output step disturbance can also be lastly rejected. The fast step response of the controlled system can be achieved by reducing the equivalent time constant. The MATLAB's simulation results show that the performances of the designed controlled system using CDM is better than the performances of the controlled system using PIDA controller designed by its own technique.

SiC 나노입자를 이용하여 형성한 Ni-SiC 복합도금막의 미세구조 및 특성 (Microstructure and Properties of Ni-SiC Composite Coating Layers Formed using Nano-sized SiC Particles)

  • Ni-SiC composite coating layers were formed using two kinds of SiC nano-particles by DC electrodeposition in a nickel sulfamate bath containing SiC particles. The effect of stirring rate and SiC particle type on the microstructure and properties of Ni-SiC composite coating layers were investigated. Results revealed that the trend of deposition rate is closely related to the codeposition of SiC and the deposition rate. or nickel, and the codeposition behavior of SiC can be explained by using hydrodynamic effect due to stirring. The average roughness and friction coefficient are closely related to the codeposition of SiC and SiC particle size. It was found that the Victors microhardness of the composite coating layers increased with increasing codeposition of SiC. The composite coating layers containing smaller SiC particle showed higher hardness. This can be explained by using the strengthening mechanism resulting from dispersion hardening. Anti-wear property of the composite coating layers formed using 130 nm-sized SiC nano-particles has been improved by 2,300% compared with pure electroplated-nickel layer.

3SC 실용트리즈와 머신러닝을 이용한 기공을 가진 인공지지체 제조문제 해결에 관한 연구 (A Study on Manufacturing Problem Solving of Scaffold with Pore Using 3SC Practical TRIZ and Machine Learning)

  • In this paper, we have analyzed manufacturing problems of the scaffold with pores using FDM 3D printer and PLGA. We suggested the solutions using 3SC practical TRIZ. We selected the final solution used machine learning. We reduced number of experiments using most influential factor after analysis print factors. We printed the scaffold and measured pore size. We created the regression model using python tensorflow. The print condition data of measured pore size was used as training data. We predicted the pore size of printed condition using regression model. We printed the scaffold using the predicted the print condition data. We quantitatively compare the predicted scaffold pore size data and the measured scaffold pore size data. We got satisfactory result.

인공지지체 불량 검출을 위한 딥러닝 모델 성능 비교에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Study on Deep Learning Models for Scaffold Defect Detection)

  • When we inspect scaffold defect using sight, inspecting performance is decrease and inspecting time is increase. We need for automatically scaffold defect detection method to increase detection accuracy and reduce detection times. In this paper. We produced scaffold defect classification models using densenet, alexnet, vggnet algorithms based on CNN. We photographed scaffold using multi dimension camera. We learned scaffold defect classification model using photographed scaffold images. We evaluated the scaffold defect classification accuracy of each models. As result of evaluation, the defect classification performance using densenet algorithm was at 99.1%. The defect classification performance using VGGnet algorithm was at 98.3%. The defect classification performance using Alexnet algorithm was at 96.8%. We were able to quantitatively compare defect classification performance of three type algorithms based on CNN.

마이크로 머시닝 기술을 이용한 밀리미터파 대역 저 손실 결합기에 관한 연구 (High performance couplers using micromachined transmission lines in millimeter-wave band)

  • In this study, we fabricated the DAMLs using surface micromachining technology as well a low loss coupler for the millimeter-wave band applications using these DAMLs. The structure of DAML is that a signal line is supported on ground plane by dielectric posts. Therefore it has advantages about the loss characteristic and the stable structure. The other advantage of the DAML process is a simple and convenient technique using 4 mask steps, even if it has a micromachining technology. The lowest loss of the fabricated DAML was obtained 2.2 dB/cm at 110 GHz. To obtain the low loss characteristic, couplers were designed and fabricated by using DAMLs. The fabricated ring hybrid coupler has the coupling of 3.58 dB and the thru of 3.31 dB at 60 GHz. We can also obtain the coupling of 3.42 dB, the thru of 3.82 dB from fabricated branch line coupler at 60 GHz.

  • In this paper, we investigated the influence of technology, which gave an impact on students through the process of teaching & learning for the proof of an additive law of sine function in the mathematics education for the gifted. We chose students who were taking a course in enrichment mathematics at Science Education Institute for the Gifted in Mokpo National University, and analyzed their processes of a mathematical inference or conjecture, an algebraic description and a proof by visualization using technology. We found the following facts. That is, the visualization using technology is helpful to the gifted students in understanding principles and concepts of mathematics by intuition. Also, it is helpful to ones verifying various cases and generalizing principles. But, using technology can be a factor that disturbs learning of students who are clumsy with operating technology.

옹기 필터를 이용한 무 전원 정수 장치에 관한 연구 (Characteristics of the Non-electric Water Purification System Using Onggi Filter)

  • A non-electric water purification system using the Korean traditional ceramic ware Onggi, was demonstrated as an appropriate technology to solve water shortages in under developed regions. Generally, Onggi is produced using large size raw materials that are sintered at low temperature, resulting in a porous body that shows air and water permeability. An Onggi filter was prepared using a spinning wheel with the addition of rice bran to the body to increase porosity. The porosity of the obtained Onggi filter was 25.1%; the water permeability was 85.1 $L/m^2h$. Turbidity and TDS of the purified water using Onggi filter were decreased by 97.7% and 29.1%, respectively.

Current Limitation by Bi-2223 Bifilar Winding Coils

  • There are many kinds of high temperature superconducting (HTS) application using Bi-2223 tape which is the most commercialized HTS material. Also, resistive superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) have been developed using many kinds of superconducting material such as YBCO thin film, Bi-2212 bulk and so on. However, SFCL using Bi-2223 tape has never been developed. This paper deals with the feasibility study on SFCL using Bi-2223 wire. The over-current behaviors of Bi-2223 short-length sample were measured. To make the resistive SFCL, two small-scale bifilar winding modules using 7m Bi-2223 wire were fabricated; i.e. solenoid type bifilar coil and pancake type one. The short-circuit tests of the coils were successfully performed up to 16 V$_{rms}$ From these tests, the current limiting capabilities of Bi-2223 bifilar coils were confirmed and current limiting performances between two winding types were compared. In addition, the feasibility of resistive SFCL using another HTS wire, i.e. YBCO coated conductor, was also investigated.

  • 주식이 오를지 내릴지를 예측하는 것은 주식의 불확실성으로 매우 어렵다. 인공지능 기술을 이용한 주가예측 방법에 대한 연구가 오랫동안 이루어져왔다. 최근에는 증권 회사에도 로봇 어드바이저라는 이름으로 인공지능 기술을 이용한 주식 매수/매도 추천 프로그램이 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능 머신러닝 기술을 이용한 매수/매도 추천 시스템을 개발하기 위하여 여러 가지 기술적 분석 방법의 결과를 활용하는 이 시스템의 핵심인 엔진을 설계한다. 또한 객체지향 분석 방법을 이용한 요구사항 분석 및 플로우차트, 화면 설계 등을 보여여줌으로써 효과적인 인공지능 머신러닝 기술을 이용한 매수/매도 추천 시스템의 소프트웨어 분석 및 설계 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

What are the Risks of using Smart Technology in the Construction Phase?

  • In the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, smart technology being considered to improve productivity breakthroughs is in the spotlight as a means to replace traditional construction technology in the construction industry. However, various problems are occurring in construction sites using smart technology and causing negative impacts on construction projects. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify risk factors that occur when smart technologies are used in construction projects. To achieve this purpose, this study investigated the difficulties at construction projects using smart technology, and risk factors were derived based on site surveys and literature. The risk factors were measured by experts, and then a total of 19 risk factors was derived by exploratory factor analysis. As a result, risks were classified as 5 factors, the institutional factor is the most difficult response, and the government needs anticipative system improvement and a long-term plan. The research findings provide practical implications for construction experts trying to apply smart technology in construction sites and construction policy-makers to revitalize smart technology.
