Virtual community, which is formed on the internet, is expected to serve the needs of members for communication, information, and knowledge sharing. The executives of organizations should consider operating strategy of virtual community as a new innovation or knowledge pool since members share knowledge. However, many virtual community have failed due to members' low willingness to engage and furthermore to share knowledge with other members. Thus, there is a need to understand and foster the determinants of members' loyalty in virtual community. The objective of this study is to develop an integrated model designed to investigate and explain the relationships between contextual factors, personal perceptions of virtual community, usefulness, ease of use, familiarity, members' trust, reputation, community trust, attitude, satisfaction and loyalty. Empirical data was collected from 286 internet users and tested using structural equation modeling to verify the fit of the hypothetical model. The results show that the usefulness, familiarity significantly influences attitude and members' trust is significantly influence the community trust. And I confirmed that ease of use and attitude play the role of determinants in making the satisfaction, community trust and reputation influence the satisfaction that have the direct effect to making the loyalty. The results of the study can be used to identify the loyalty in virtual community. By investigating the impacts of contextual factors and personal perceptions on virtual community, the integrated model better explains behavior than other proposed models. This study might help executives of virtual communities and organizations to manage and promote community trust, attitude, satisfaction to stimulate members' willingness to revisit the community and futhermore enhance their virtual community loyalty.

In this study, the effect of platform selection attributes on customer satisfaction by mediating supplier trust for agrifood platform users was analyzed. The sub-variables of the selection attribute were classified into diversity, convenience, information, commerciality, and interactivity. The collected 190 questionnaires, SPSS v24.0 and Process macro 4.0 were used for empirical analysis. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that information, commerciality, and interactivity affect supplier trust in a positive direction, and diversity and convenience do not affect supplier trust. Second, it was confirmed that supplier trust had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, convenience, information, commerciality, and interactivity were found to affect customer satisfaction in a positive direction, and diversity did not affect customer satisfaction. It was tested to mediate between informational, commercial, interactivity and customer satisfaction. These results suggest that the platform's informativeness, commerciality, and interactivity can increase customer satisfaction by increasing supplier trust. As a follow-up study, it is recommended that the analysis of moderated mediating effects by the conditional process model including moderating variables or research to discover third mediator(s) other than the supplier trust used in the study is needed.
The aim of this study is to scrutinize acceptance intentions of Korean users and influences of information security related factors on mobile payment services based on biometric authentication methods, like finger print authentication or face recognition authentication, by focusing on ApplePay. Unlike previous studies on user acceptance of mobile payment which lack considerations on information security related factors, this study employs the UTAUT with detailed information security factors to create a research model and PLS(Partial Least Squares) method to analyze the model. Based on the analysis, gaining trust on service through company's efforts on information protection, personal characteristics and trust on applied security technologies are important factors to Korean users along with social awareness and service infrastructures. The result of this study would be helpful to companies or organizations, which provide biometric-based mobile payment services, to understand needs of Korean consumers. Based on this study, further analysis is expected to find impacts of user experiences on same company's or competitors' products to acceptance intentions.
This study identified factors related to the technological characteristics of conversational generative AI services and the user's task characteristics. Then, it analyzed the effects of task-technology fit on user satisfaction and continued use. The effects of trust, which represents the degree of users' belief in the information provided by generative AI, on task-technology fit, user satisfaction, and user continuance intention were also examined. A survey was conducted among users of various age groups, and 198 questionnaires were collected and analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 to validate the proposed model. As a result of hypothesis testing, it was confirmed that language fluency and interactivity among technology characteristics and ambiguity among task characteristics significantly affect user satisfaction and intention to continue using via task-technology fit. However, creativity among skill characteristics and time flexibility among task characteristics did not significantly affect task-technology fit, and trust did not directly affect task-technology fit and intention to continue using, but only positively affected user satisfaction. The results of this study can provide meaningful implications for vendors who want to develop and provide conversational generative AI services or companies who want to adopt generative AI technology to improve business productivity.
The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the transference of trust process, an important factor to consumer's purchase decision-making. Even though several researchers have discussed the trust transference process, there is no research related to this concept. Specifically we have focused on the transference of trust from the retailer to low involvement private label (PL) products. PL products were chosen as transference of trust occurs under ambiguity due to lack of information about the product and their manufacturer. PL products provide relatively less information than national brand (NB) products. In addition, retailers have been rapidly expanding their PL product categories. To identify the theoretical and empirical limitations of prior studies, we discuss several theories explaining the transference of trust: 'Balance theory' and 'availability heuristic' in transference of cognitive trust; 'affective transference' and 'affect as information' in transference of affective trust. An empirical test was performed. A self completion questionnaire was developed and administered to a convenience sample of PL users. 206 usable questionnaire were received. The results show that the transference of trust plays a mediating role linking the retailer to the manufacturer and to the product. Although our model, which included the transference process of trust as a mediating effect, did not improve the competitive model, the coefficients of the respective paths were found to be better. This study confirms the transference of cognitive trust from the retailer to both the manufacturer and the product, but not for affective trust. We offer the explanation that PL products may tend to have affective trust resulting from brand familiarity but not to their PL manufacturers.
Given the proliferation of social network services, it has become important to understand its user's continued use behavior. As users' privacy concerns in SNS have been identified as a critical barrier against forming this continued intention, many studies have focused on inducing continued intention by mitigating privacy concerns. However, this paper suggests to approach users' continued intention not only from the perspective of mitigating privacy concerns but also from the perspective of increasing potential benefits. Under the theoretical framework of privacy calculus model, we conducted cross sectional survey on 150 Facebook and 150 KakaoTalk users. The result suggests that trust mediates the relationships between privacy concerns and continued intention and between network externality and continued intention, and the influence of support for network formation on continued intention. The effect of network externality on continued intention, however, is not significant among Facebook users while it is significant among KakaoTalk users.
This article identifies factors affecting successful ERP systems by focusing on the stages after stabilizing ERP systems and overcoming temporary performance dip by introduction of ERP systems, and suggests change management tactics to control those identified factors. We can not expect that every users are familiar with the usage of an ERP system even after they are informed about the expected advantage of the newly implemented ERP system and trained intensively for changed business process and system usage while implementing a new ERP system. Moreover, even after more than six months usage of the system, the users may still have some trouble due to the reason why they have insufficient information about the expected advantage of the system (recognition gap) and insufficient knowledge about the changed usage of the system (knowledge gap). Hence, this article diagnoses by conducting a case study that those recognition and knowledge gap would have a severe bad influence upon the users' trust and satisfaction on ERP systems. This article suggests an appropriate change management tactics to overcome those recognition and knowledge gap by considering the relationship with the efforts for change management before, during, and after the introduction of ERP systems and performing an in-depth analysis on the users' dissatisfaction and request for update during the stages after the stabilization of the ERP systems. This article also shows a corroborative evidence that these efforts of change management consequently contributes to the solution of users' distrust and dissatisfaction. In sum, this article identifies the factors influencing badly on the magnitude and seriousness of knowledge and recognition gap, and suggests a conceptual research model which says that the satisfaction of ERP users could be uplifted by the solution of their knowledge and recognition gap if we keep making efforts on appropriate change management considering those identified factors during the stages after the stabilization of an ERP system.

This study aims to, looking from a standpoint of network, has investigated the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace, the characteristics that can earn electronic trust from the users, and characteristics of the web-site. It has examined the mechanism whereby electronic trust be earned and how it affects web-site involvement and service transaction intention. Ultimately, The study attempts to make proposals whereby such trust can lead for a cooperative trading community in the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace The Covalence structural equation modeling was designed and empirically tested for the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace. The shipping industry employees were given questionnaires and data were analyzed. Except for perceived security of the three characteristic factors on the web-site, the perceived site quality and characteristics factors in operation only affected co-variables. Transaction Fairness was determined to be the most important factor among exogenous factors increasing electronic trust. With regards to transaction rules, if a transaction is beneficial only to one side, then no long term transaction will not take place. If the concerned parties properly recognize that transaction fairness is crucial to electronic transaction, then it will enormously contribute to successful operations of shipping e-marketplace. Also, Perceived efficiency in transaction also affects electronic trust. This reduces transaction costs and speeds up and simplifies the transaction process. It has reduced greater time and costs than existing off-line transaction, and would positively affect electronic trust. By making an open forum for participants to obtain information for transaction, they can gather useful information, and at the same time, the web-site operator can provide information, which, in turn, will increase electronic trust in electronic transaction. Furthermore, such formation of trust in electronic transaction influences shipping companies in such a way that they will want to continuously participate in the transaction, raising web-site involvement. The result of increased trust is that shipping companies in the future will do business with each other and form a foundation for continuous transactions amongst themselves. Consequently, the formation of trust in electronic transaction greatly influences web-site involvement and service transaction intention. The results of the study have again proved that in order to maintain continuous business relationship with the current clients, electronic trust in virtual space, which operates the shipping industry's B2B e-marketplace, is important for the interested parties.
Cloud computing is a new method of computing and managing organizational information technology resources strategically. From the user perspective, it involves computing environment for accessing applications remotely, storing data, and supporting cooperative works. For the cloud computing to be effective in an organization, it should be accepted by individual users. In this paper we propose a research model, extending and modifying UTAUT model. We also test the validity of the model using the questionnaire from a sample of cloud computing services users.
