  • Originally the concept of the traditional resource sharing has been discussed in the context of bibliographic materials, and has been labor-intensive and high-cost activities. The technology has had a great impact on such pattern of the resource sharing, and has expanded the limited scope of the traditional concept into the sharing of library information in the levels of local, regional and national systems, and expertise, materials, facilities, equipments and personnels of the library system. While the traditional circulation service as a basic method to share library materials by users can provide the resource to a single person at a time, the electronic resource can be shared, by multi-users at a time anytime anywhere. The maximization of the electronic resource sharing requires that publishing process should be fundamentally changed and articles, books, chapters, speech manuscripts, music scores, maps, sound, and other formats of materials should be prepared in machine readable format. This study examined the positive effects of the technology on the resource sharing, but not investigate the concrete and complex problems as to the cost, guidelines, detailed procedures, design details, and intellectual properties and protection involved in the resource sharing. Some findings extracted from the study can be summarized as follows; (1) ILL will lose its meaning as a method to share the materials if they are all in the electronic format and the phrase 'networked information resource' becomes omnipresent. (2) The technology keeps on changing the concept of resource sharing. Today, the scope of resource sharing not only encompasses the sharing of the primary and secondary materials but also the sharing of the processings(eg. cataloging), expertise, user education, special facilities, and the integrated automated library systems. (3) The sharing of the networked resource will be a method to provide better services for library users in the low cost. (4) The a n.0, pplication of the technology to the resource sharing should be focus on the method which allows an end-users to do the direct access to the needed materials, and to be delivered the primary document as soon as possible.

  • Accurate proofreading Interface requires resolving the ambiguity that occurs when the system determines the relations between the free-form by the user and editing scopes of the document. Proofreading for structure documents such as XML/XHTML involves modification of document structures and modified document also should follow the pre-defined DTD. This paper present a CPI (Context-based Proofreading Interface) based on the XML. The CPI supports free-form drawing of correction marks and provides context-based scope recognition and revision methods. CPI provides both implicit and explicit modification methods for document structures. As a result, the correction mark information produced in this paper includes more accurate scope information than that in other systems.

  • Many domestic and foreign studies derive factors that significantly affect the use of shared E-scooters based on performance data, but few studies have been conducted with comparative analysis models using predictive power, applying them to other regions. Therefore, by clearly establishing detailed influencing factors and scope in Gwangjin-gu and Gangnam-gu by using domestic shared E-scooter performance data, this study enhances predictive power, and the Geographically Weighted Regression model is derived through spatial autocorrelation verification. Based on the results, the direction of a construction model created from regional differences was presented, and major implications from the user's perspective are derived based on the difference between actual use and the model's prediction.

  • Purpose: This study aims to suggest an analysis model finding the relationship between building scale characteristics of Public-use facilities and infectious disease outbreaks around senior leisure welfare facilities and the features and their scopes where quarantine resources are to be concentrated. Methods: Reviewing previous studies found the user characteristics of senior leisure welfare facilities and scale characteristics of urban architectures. The data preprocessing was performed after collecting building data and infectious disease outbreak data in the analysis area. This study derived data for attributes of building size and frequency of infectious disease outbreaks in Public-use facilities around senior leisure welfare facilities. A computing algorithm was implemented to analyze the correlation between the building size characteristics and the infectious disease outbreak frequency as per the change of the spatial scope. Results: The results of this study are as follows: First, the suggested model was to analyze the correlation between the infection frequency and the number of senior leisure welfare facilities, the number of Public-use facilities, building area, total floor area, site area, height, building-to-land ratio, and floor area ratio varied as per the change of spatial scope. Second, correlation results varied between the infection frequency and the number of senior leisure welfare facilities, the number of Public-use facilities, building area, total floor area, site area, height, building-to-land ratio, and floor area ratio. Third, a negative correlation appeared in the analysis between the number of senior leisure welfare facilities and infection frequency. And positive correlations appeared noticeably in the study between the number of Public-use facilities, building area, total floor area, height, building-to-land ratio, and floor area ratio. Implications: This study can be used as primary data on the utilization of limited quarantine resources by analyzing the relationship between the Public-use facilities around the senior leisure welfare facilities and the spread of infectious diseases. In addition, it suggests that infectious disease prevention measures are necessary considering the spatial scope of the analysis area and the size of buildings.

  • The rapid increase of Sinlge-person household and the increase in the use of smart devices necessitate the context analysis of Sinlge-person household and specific design direction for Sinlge-person household products. Previous studies have analyzed the overall context of smart devices without distinguishing between Sinlge-person household and a household. However, since the number of family members, age distribution, and residential space are different in the case of Sinlge-person household, it is necessary to analyze the different behaviors of smart devices. Therefore, this study limits the use environment of smart device of Single-person household to the scope of investigation, and based on the theoretical background, defines the existing comprehensive context based on user's situation that lasts for a certain interval. For the concrete and empirical research results, Consolidated Flow Model was constructed through Contextual Task through user research. This shows the interaction characteristics such as the guarantee of physical space, efficiency, lifestyle reflection, and safety assurance of Single-person household.

  • Most speech recognition systems that have a large capacity and high recognition rates are isolated word speech recognition systems. In order to extend the scope of recognition, it is necessary to increase the number of words that are to be searched. However, it shows a problem that exhibits a decrease in the system performance according to the increase in the number of words. This paper defines the context information that affects speech recognition in a ubiquitous environment to solve such a problem and develops user localization method using inertial sensor and RFID. Also, we develop a new speech recognition system that demonstrates better performances than the existing system by establishing a word model domain of a speech recognition system by context information. This system shows operation without decrease of recognition rate in smart home environment.
