This study proposes and demonstrates the value of user - centered design methodology based on linguistic analysis. The results of the proposed user behavioural analysis framework suggested that the syntactic structure between the sentence structure and its components could be a logical basis for explaining the user's situation and behavior. Based on this, the definitions and classifications of user interactions and user contexts were conducted in a microscopically context. User behavior has also been established to identify pattern structures of purposeful nature and constitutes a user behavior sequence that prioritizes them. Next, the User Experience Analysis Framework was derived by defining the relationship between User Behavior and User Behavior and User Context and User Context. To verify the framework of the framework, a professional assessment was conducted to conduct a review of the user's experience and conduct a study of the framework of the framework and conduct of the framework of the framework of the framework and practical utility of the framework. Through this, it was possible to identify the value of the qualitative and quantitative framework of the framework and the future direction of development.
The digital multimedia environment, centered on Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) technology, has transformed our imagination into a diverse experience. The flexible display, which was born as a means of human-machine communication required in a highly information-oriented society, It is creating a new market by linking with Internet of things. ecause the interface of a flexible display can provide a physical form as a result of input or output, user-centered interface design is paramount. Therefore, the researchers of this paper have studied the physical deformation and characteristics of flexible display by user manipulation through literature and case studies. Therefore, the authors of this paper studied the physical deformations and characteristics of flexible displays by user manipulation through literature and case studies. This research suggests the following guidelines for a flexible display interface design for the user experience. First, it must be designed to provide the functionality that users need in a variety of display environments. Second, in using the interface, external factors should be removed from the viewing angle of multi-users. Third, all possible user actions should be considered on flexible displays other than touch and contact. Fourth, flexible design of flexible display requires changing interface design for user experience.
The environmental problems caused by food waste have been a steady social issue, and the severity of the problem emerged as the 2013 London Convention banned the marine emissions of waste water. The government implemented measures related to food waste, but prior studies showed that it lacked continuity and lacked strategies for each area of occurrence, and emphasized that citizens' participation is important to implement effective reduction policies. Therefore, this study proposed a food waste disposal machine through user experience analysis as a way to induce civic participation. To this end, the design development direction was outlined in this study after the pre-research and user survey stages through FGI and user journey maps. Based on this, the proposed treatment machine facilitates the frequent discharge of waste and simplifies the process of food waste in the home. In addition, the moment of direct contact between the user and waste is only the point at which the waste is released to the handler, thereby minimizing the negative experience the user has experienced.
Recently emotional relationships between industrial products and user experience are getting more attention than ever. However, current user interface design has focused just on the mechanical and logical aspects. This research proposed a new approach to improve user's emotional experience to interface design and introduced storytelling as a new possibility. Four types of user interface - logical interface, picture added interface, storytelling-applied interface, and storytelling-applied interface with a story script - were used for this research. Eighty college students participated in this research. Each participant was randomly assigned to one of four types of user interfaces. Additionally, their individual differences in affect intensity were measured. he results show that users reported more emotional experience in the storytelling-applied interface and storytelling-applied interface with a story script than the logical interface and just picture added interface. The results also suggest that the higher satisfaction was experienced for the storytelling-applied interface. And all those results are differentiated by the users' affect intensity. The users who have higher affect intensity expressed heavier emotional experience and deeper satisfaction for the storytelling-applied interface.
This study is a VR system design designed to evaluate the impact of interaction on user experience analyzed by developer's perspective for the interactive VR fashion show. In the VR fashion show design, we produced an interactive system through the four interactive elements of camera viewpoint, cloth, effects, and sound. The interactive design system is proposed based on three application facto rs in VR space design: speed, range, and mapping. The study focused on the user experience based on format conversion to apply the Unity3D engine using 3D model, animation, 2D UI design, and simulation.

As the usage of smart phones continues to increase, the control UI, which users have to continue to use, sometimes finds a heavy burden on users. Therefore, in this study, we have studied the control user interface structure along with the theoretical background of the control user interface, and we have studied the role and usage of the control component based on it. Typical commonly used controls are button controls for transmission, selection controls for various selections, link controls for navigation, text controls for inputting characters, indicator controls for feedback on progress, A message control that displays information about warnings and errors, and a window control such as a dialog box. The structure of the control should be designed according to the use of the separated control to help the user efficiently use the control user interface. Based on the analysis of the theoretical usage of representative components belonging to the separated controls, we presented a new and correct way to use the control to improve the user experience. The use of improved control components will help to design the control structure efficiently and to improve the user experience.
Due to the development of communication technology and expansion of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), the car is changing from a simple mechanical device to second living space which has comprehensive convenience function and is evolved into the platform which is playing as an interface for this role. As the interface area to provide various information to the passenger is being expanded, the research importance about smart car based user experience is rising. This study has a research objective to propose the guidelines regarding the smart car user experience elements. In order to conduct this study, smart car user experience elements were defined as function, interaction, and surface and through the discussions of UX/UI experts, 8 representative techniques, 14 representative techniques, and 8 locations of the glass windows were specified for each element. Following, the smart car users' priorities of the experience elements, which were defined through targeting 100 drivers, were analyzed in the form of questionnaire survey. The analysis showed that the users' priorities in applying the main techniques were in the order of safety, distance, and sensibility. The priorities of the production method were in the order of voice recognition, touch, gesture, physical button, and eye tracking. Furthermore, regarding the glass window locations, users prioritized the front of the driver's seat to the back. According to the demographic analysis on gender, there were no significant differences except for two functions. Therefore this showed that the guidelines of male and female can be commonly applied. Through user requirement analysis about individual elements, this study provides the guides about the requirement in each element to be applied to commercialized product with priority.
The study evaluates user experiences of I-um and Noondate, typical Social Dating Mobile Application Service in Korea, to suggest guidelines that are more user-centered and useful. I did some literature research followed with evaluation of theoretical backgrounds, present conditions. Also, I recasted to the six principles of "Honey comb model" by Peter Morville to conduct an in-depth interview. The result indicate that I-um needs to improve accuracy of matching system by checking user's interest and detailed profile. Noondate needs to develop the cards sorting systems so that user can supervise themselves. I expect this study will become a good resource for upgrading user experiences of Social Dating Service. I also believe that this study can guide other studies about user experience in other fields.
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate service design cases by online service companies and suggests framework to understand service design of them. Background: Recently, exploratory service design cases by online service companies such as Google, Apple, and NHN has been developed. Service design and online service experience design has been booming among user experience professionals but these two areas are not clearly defined. It is interesting to study the definition and key factors of service design and online service experience design. Moreover, investigating service design cases by online service companies is needed. Method: Due to diversification of service design cases by online service companies, this study has reviewed online resources and literatures about top 5 online service companies in USA and Korea. Furthermore, this study used expert interview who worked for service design at NHN. To understand the attributes of service design cases, this study developed 3 types of service design classifications scheme such as service design as extension of online service, space design and event service design. Finally, this study suggested a new framework for service design cases. Results: This study investigated service design cases by online service companies and suggests key issues and frameworks to uncover service design for online service. Conclusion: Service design cases for online service was analyzed by $2^*2$ matrix(extension, $enrichment^*product$, service) to explain characteristics and attributes. NHN's Knowledge-iN bookshelf at NHN library1 is a unique form of service design as a tool of enrichment of online experience. Application: The results of this study might help to understand service design cases and plan new service design for online service companies with structured framework.
Basically, modern architect's translation of relations between architectural space and human beings is focused upon the space and the way the space is experienced. Thus, the architecture is construed not as the finalized and fixed structure but as something undetermined and In progress. Here, we can identify the similarity between current trend and theory on process. Experience argument in this study is based upon such a similarity. And for your understanding of the spatial concept broached in the following experience argument, I've presented the analysis of Ben van Berkel's and Kazuyo Sejima's works that represent user's experiences in discussing art works. Taking a step further, I'll try to provide the true definition of being in progress and the potential of the architecture, thereby seeking the value and meaning of trends in modern architecture. In this regard, this study is aimed to analyze the attributes of experiences in progress identified in the art works of Ben van Berkel and Kazuyo Sejima and to extract and analyze the architectural concepts therein.
