A Method for Automatic Provision of Personalized Community Service using Situation based Self-growing User Model (자가 성장하는 상황 기반 사용자 모델을 이용한 개인화 커뮤니티 서비스 자동 제공 방법)

  • The user model is an indispensable factor for providing users with personalized. services in the ubiquitous computing environment. In general user models, services which users prefer should be described in advance so that the system can recognize and interpret them automatically. Also, user's preferences as to the change of situation are not reflected in general user models due to their ignoring the situation. In this paper, we propose the self-growing user model which learns user experience and the system which automatically provides personalized community services through extracting user preferring services by situation.

Understanding and Predicting Online Service Continuance: A Theoretical Integration of User Satisfaction and Technology Acceptance

  • The increasing popularity of the Internet has led to the emergence of online service delivered by websites. Given large investments in these websites, it is important to retain existing customers in online service contexts. In order to understand how website information and system attributes may influence perceived usefulness of using the websites, customer satisfaction, and ultimate continuous usage behaviors, we develop a model to integrate user satisfaction with technology acceptance. Furthermore, this integration is sharpened through the synthesis with research on continuous usage of online service based on customer satisfaction. We then test the model using a sample of 236 respondents who have used one of the most popular Internet blog and community service in South Korea within the last three months. The analysis results suggest that website information and system attributes play key roles in forming continuous intention of the service and perceived playfulness serves as an important moderator toward customer satisfaction. Our model is more likely to help link website design and invesment decisions to the strategy for retaining existing customers in the context of online service.

  • The appearance and evolution of cloud service is potentially one of the major advances in information and communication technology. However, it is necessary to identify and understand the various issues of cloud service, both from the perspectives of the providers and the consumers of it. While a lot of studies such as cloud business model, profit model and technology itself are currently taking place in cloud service considering provider's aspects, there are a few researches dealing with cloud service user's aspects. This paper presents the user behavior analysis focused on SaaS users and discusses the development strategy of SaaS service based on the results of user behavior analysis. In order to analyze the user behavior, we surveyed SaaS users divided into two groups such as present and future user groups. Eventually, we proposed the SaaS prospects, development strategy and policy issues based on user behavior analysis.

  • Recently, there is study about interface for user convince. this users interface technology can apply to UI depend on user choice. For that, W3C study various technology which is N-screen service on different device, provide consistent service, and UI adjust service depends on user preference. Therefore, we need UI study based on this model and standard technology. In this paper, study UI technology based on basic model to develop UI for user's convenience. So it can be useful to apply next-generation Web applications and secure web-application measure plans.

  • Smart devices are great tool to get a lot of information of user by variety sensors, application, web. The information is good clue to seize pattern of user. So, we can expect that customized content-service will be possible based on utilizing information of user. This expectation alters the type of content-service from just providing lots of contents to smart devices to recommendation contents which wanted, needed, favorite looking by user. For this customized content-service, a system model like a curator in galleries or museums is required. So, in this paper, we suggest Intelligent Contents Curation(ICCuration) model which has 3 sub modules with sensing, analysis and filtering information of user. The collected information of user are processed up to scenarios and the scenario is a clue for selecting contents which will be recommended to users. In the scenario has user's preferences and behaviors as well as devices informations as elements. So, contents can be optimized not only domain category but type of media for devices.

  • In the knowledge society the main resource is knowledge, and the role of library to manage knowledge and information is very important. Therefore it is necessary to knowledge and information management that provides on demand service to user. The purpose of this research is to design model for web-based help-desk knowledge management system. This study used Qualitative methods as interviews and surveys through BBS and e-mail on information service in the university libraries. Here the investigated component factors are followings Q/A service user's education service to use the library, user's online reference service, e-mail service, FAQ service electronic service(BBS), lecture and research service for faculty, my library, SDI service, and open data service.   • Recently, the Fintech industry is growing rapidly, and mobile payment service plays a key role in this growth. The purpose of this study is to investigate factors affecting initial acceptance of mobile payment service using Technology Acceptance Model. In the research model, service-related factors such as economic efficiency and security, user-related factors such as user innovativeness and social factors such as social influence were adopted as external variables, and acceptance intention was introduced as dependent variable. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were selected as mediating variables. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics v22 and Smart PLS 2.0. The results of the study are as follows. First, service-related factors such as economic efficiency and security did not affect the user acceptance intention. Second, individual innovativeness and social influence have significant effects on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use respectively. And the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, which are mediators, have a significant influence on the acceptance intention of mobile payment service. The results of this study will serve as a useful guide for Fintech industries.

  • IPTV has been launched to provide a simple convergence service with broadcast and communication, and now it is evolving to support personalized service capabilities according to user's requirements. The paper presents DSON architecture and its control model to provide personalized features and user centric capability in IPTV services over service overlay network. Furthermore, the paper introduces DSON based service models on community IPTV and home IPTV service model.

A Study on the Effect of Public Library Service Scape on Customer Loyalty (공공도서관의 서비스스케이프가 고객충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to empirically verify the structural relationship between public library service-scape, flow, user satisfaction, and customer loyalty for adults who use public libraries for academic purposes in a changing public library environment. To this end, this study reviewed the concepts of public library service-scape, immersion, user satisfaction, and customer loyalty with existing literature, proposed a research model based on this, and empirically verified them. Methods: This study collected and statistically analyzed data for adults using public libraries for the purpose of reading books or studying. The collected data were checked using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 and the research hypothesis was verified by analyzing the results using the structural equation modeling technique. Results: The results of the study are as follows. First, spatiality, aesthetics, and amenity of service-scapes have a positive effect on flow. Second, spatiality and amenity of service-scapes have a positive effect on user satisfaction. Third, Flow has a positive effect on user satisfaction. Fourth, Flow and user satisfaction have a positive effect on customer loyalty. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in that it suggests a strategic direction to enhance the service competitiveness of public libraries by strengthening the service-scape.

Recommendations and Analysis of Model-based User Interface Model (모델 기반의 사용자 인터페이스 모델 분석 및 제안)

  • User interface model technology can apply UI based on a user's choice. Recently, researches about th interface for the user's convenience have been actively made. For this, in W3C, various researches are ongoing in order to provide UI adjust service based on N-Screen service, consistent service provision, and the user's preference. In this paper, we study the model-based interface technology, which is fundamental to develop UI for the user's convenience. For this we study the verification process by analyzing elements of the user interface technology, analyzing the standards of the UI, and finding improvements for the MBUI standard. This will be used in order to secure the technology for web-application measures and to apply next-generation web-application.
