As the size of camera modules is decreasing and as the computing performance of portable devices is improving, taking photos has become a part of daily life. However, existing photo management programs and products that manage such photos still require extensive user effort to facilitate the sharing and browsing of images. It is especially difficult for novice users to manage and share photos. In this paper, we develop a round-robin concept-driven user preference feedback mechanism for achieving direct photo sharing, instant display, and easy management using optimized user controls and user preference-driven classification. Compared with commercial photo management systems, our proposed solution provides new features: optimized user controls, direct sharing and instant display, and user preference feedback driven classification. These new features boost the round-robin concept-driven user preference feedback. This paper proposes a photo finder that automatically searches for photos in storage spaces or cameras. The proposed photo finder relies on user preference feedback to share photos by leveraging user preferences, and the round-robin connection transmits photos to the family's digital photo frame or web album by arbiter. The proposed method saves time and spares users the effort required for photo management. Moreover, this method does not merely direct photo sharing and simple photo management, but it also increases the satisfaction level of users viewing the photos.

This research derived five success factors(the characteristics of system, knowledge, management, organization and users) for knowledge management system(KMS) and empirically analyzed the influence on the performance(usage and user satisfaction) by setting these characteristics to military KMS. This study shows that user characteristic affects most positive(+) effect to usage, and knowledge characteristic affects most positive(+) effect to user satisfaction but organization characteristic affects negative(-) effect to usage and user satisfaction. The result of this research illustrates the successful operation of military KMS and expects the early settlement of the military forces that will establish KMS by reducing initial trial and errors.

The Gateway Server Authorization System(GSAS) presented in this thesis is a database authorization system. GSAS is responsible for user\`s authorization, and privilege management, audit service. Only users that are filtered in GSAS can access the DBMS(Data Base Management System) through middleware. GSAS is located at the DBMS and already contains an authorization record for user accessing a specific DBMS. GSAS on consists of several components, namely an authorization manager, a privilege manager, and an audit manager. As an authorization manager and a privilege manager can only approve a pass at the same time, a user can get accessibility for DBMS.

In the current Internet system, there are many problems using anonymity of the network communication such as personal information leaks and crimes using the Internet system. This is why TCP/IP protocol used in Internet system does not have the user identification information on the communication data, and it is difficult to supervise the user performing the above acts immediately. As a study for solving the above problem, there is the study of Policy Based Network Management (PBNM). This is the scheme for managing a whole Local Area Network (LAN) through communication control for every user. In this PBNM, two types of schemes exist. As one scheme, we have studied theoretically about the Destination Addressing Control System (DACS) Scheme with affinity with existing internet. By applying this DACS Scheme to Internet system management, we will realize the policy-based Internet system management. In this paper, required functions in the PBNM Scheme for multiple domains as cyber physical system that utilizes data science and AI is examined.

Open operating system, Linux is the traditional Web, E-mail, DNS, FTP server, as well as being used in Cloud and Big data infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to investigate user satisfaction at Defense Medical Information System as it has been utilized as a part of National Defense Information Strategies since Aug. 2000. The subjects of this study were nurse officers and army surgeons of a hospital with 1,000 beds. The results of this study are as follows; First, according to the characteristics of the subjects, there was statistically significant difference in system satisfaction, job satisfaction and information satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System. Second, according to the intention of participation, there was a statistically significant difference in user satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System. Third, according to a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, there was statistically significant difference only in job satisfaction. Fourth, factors to influence system satisfaction were one's duty, using period of Military Hospital Information System, and a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System. Factors to influence job satisfaction were a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, one's duty and intention of participation. Factors to influence information satisfaction were one's duty, a level of dexterity at Military Hospital Information System, and intention of participation. As the first study on user satisfaction at Military Hospital Information System, this study suggests the followings. First, a plan to inspire users with intention of participating in information system should be prepared. Second, it is necessary to provide policy activities for job standardization of Military Hospital Information System and legal system improvement.

Online learning has become a widespread practice for students and teachers in acquiring and delivering knowledge. Education platforms have become prominent in the 21st century with the evolution of technology and the accessibility to online learning. As a result, various learning management systems (LMSs) have been introduced to facilitate online interaction between users. For instance, communication between students and teachers at school. However, there is a need to emphasise user engagement in LMS to enhance the online learning experience amongst students since the design of LMS affects user engagement. This study utilised a systematic literature review (SLR) that examined 74 articles published between 2014 and 2023, focusing on cross-cultural design (CCD), user-centred design (UCD), and usability in LMS design. This study aimed to review CCD and its association with UCD, user interfaces (UI), and user experience (UX) in the context of LMS. CCD has been introduced as an approach to design that embraces different cultures, languages, and social contexts, while UCD plays a significant role in defining user engagement for LMS. All elements in CCD and UCD help create a better user experience for LMS. Besides, this study reviewed the usability of selected LMS to give insights to developers in creating a positive user engagement. An insight into cultural factors that influence the usability of LMS has revealed their value for LMS design, such as the UI/UX elements. Initially, this study may guide future researchers in improving education quality by emphasising CCD and LMS usability, which can enhance user engagement.

In this paper we present a plan-based Korean dialogue system as a natural language database user interface for product search. The system can be characterized by its support for mixed initiative to give user more control over dialogue, employment of user model to reflect user' spreferences, alternative solution suggestion if there is no product matched exactly to user's requirements, handling circumlocution which frequently occurs in dialogues. The user model ing shell system BGP-MS is adapted for the system. The system provides for a user-friendly database user interface bymanaging dialogue intelligently. By its implementation and test it has been shown that the user model-based dialogue system can be utilized effectively for product search.

This paper suggests a way to construct an information management system for manufacturing process not by modifying existing solutions but by designing and developing its own solution, then examines its effects. To solve problems of existing systems, objects to be managed are organized and coded hierarchically so that a management system becomes more flexible and efficient in handling user's various needs and changes of equipments. We also provide user-customized reporting function where reporting forms are dynamically constructed depending on user's need. To validate our approach, we implement a real system and illustrate some useful examples.

In this paper, we designed and proposed framework of extended user model to support student tailored learning in ubiquitous environment. For the purpose, existents model that is domain model, user model, adaptation model and interaction model connected to LMS(Learning Management System) and LCMS(Learning Contents Management System). Students information management process that is extended user model is in between LMS and adaptive learning system. And the process connected u-LMS to use u-learning. u-LMS and u-LCMS could support the learning contents through exchange the contents according to connect and request from the students.
