Framework for Measuring Dynamic Influence Index & Influence Factors using Social Data on Facebook (페이스북 소셜 데이터를 이용한 동적 영향 요인 및 영향력 측정 방법에 관한 프레임워크)

  • The explosive growth of social networking services based on smart devices popularize these relationships and activities online in accordance with the far larger impact of this on the real life offline, the interest and importance for the online activity is increasing. In this study, factors affecting the SNS activity are defined by object, user, influence direction, influence distance and proposed a method to measure organic terms in effect between the SNS users. Influence Direction and Influence Strength (or Distance) are elaborated by using the existing influence measurement element such as structured data - the number of friends, the difference between the number of contacts - and the new influence measurement element such as unstructured data - gap between the former time and the latter time, preference and type of response behavior - that occur in social network service. In addition, the system for collecting and analysing data for measuring influence from social network service and the process model on the method for measuring influence is tested by using sample data on Facebook and explained the implementation probability.

  • This paper examines the ways of using information resources available through information retrieval systems of portal sites. We analyze the types of information resources, search capabilities, and interfaces of Naver, Empas, and Google Scholar. Naver's retrieval system sells research reports, papers, patents information, etc. to users, which is similar to C2C(Customer to Customer in e-commerce environment). Empas provides information from journals, research reports, and proceedings with no charge. Google Scholar's noteworthy efforts are their collaborative programs with and/or for major U.S. libraries, such as "Library Link" and "Library Project." Considering the extended information retrieval services of portals, especially the services like Google Scholar's library programs, libraries need to develop more specialized services, such as the customized information service for individual user, development of user convenience tools like OCLC WorldCat, more accessibility through ubiquitous library concept, and collaboration among libraries.

  • In this paper, design and implementation of RIA(: Rich Internet Application) technology, a CMS based on either of the Adobe Flex framework. Flex existing HTML + CSS + Javascript, etc. it can be easily added to a variety of visual components on a markup language consisting allow you to implement a more dynamic website. The HTTP request is processed using the Spring Framework of MVC based. Spring Framework provides a number of services for the development of a dynamic website to open source framework for the Java platform. It is being used as a standard-based technology for e-government framework used to develop recommendations and Republic of Korea during the Web service public institutions. Extensive production becomes increasingly thin web can be more efficiently managed, and will provide convenience to the user.

  • An efficient modeling and management of a large amount of surface data for a wide rage of geographic information play an important role in determining the functionality of 3D geographic information system. It has been put many efforts to design and manage an effective way to enhence the manipulation of the data by considering geometry type and data structures. Recently, DEM(Data Elevation Model) and TIN(Triangulated Irregular Network) are used for representing surface data. In this paper, we propose a 3D data processing method. The method utilizes the major properties of DEM and TIN, respectively. Furthermore, by approximating DEM with a TIN of an appropriate resolution, we can support a fast and realistic surface modeling. We implement the structure with the following 4 level stages. The first is an optimal resolution of DEM which represent all of wide range of geographic data. The second is the full resolution DEM which is a subarea of original data generated by user's selection in our implemeatation. The third is the TIN approximation of this data with a proper resolution determined by the relative position with the camera. And the last step is multi-resolution TIN data whose resolution is dynamically decided by considering which direction user take notice currently. Specially, the TIN of the last step is designed for realtime camera navigation. By using the structure we implemented realtime surface clipping, efficient approximation of height field and the locally detailed surface LOD(Level of Detail). We used the initial 10-meter sampling DEM data of Seoul, KOREA and implement the structure to the 3D Virtual GIS based on the Internet.

  • The Internet has become an essential part in our modern life by providing useful information. So, the volume of Internet traffic has been increasing rapidly, which emphasizes the importance of network traffic analysis for effective network operation and management. Signature based analysis have been commonly used, but it is shown that the increase of signatures due to the increase of applications causes the performance degradation of real-time traffic analysis on high-speed network links. In this paper, we propose OS fingerprinting method for real-time traffic analysis. The previous problems can be solved by utilizing the OS information. The OS fingerprinting method for real-time traffic analysis, proposed in this paper, conducts under passive mode, and improves the limitation of a previous method such as low completeness and accuracy. In this paper, we enlarged an input data to improve completeness, and used the User-Agent field in HTTP packet to extract various OS signatures. Also, we changed an input data from packet to flow to improve accuracy.

  • TV 방송 분야에서 다양한 정보와 상호 작용성을 제공하기 위해서 최근 기존 방송 내용인 A/V 스트림 외 부가정보 방송이 시도되고 있다. 데이타 방송에 대한 기존 연구는 대부분 고정된 내용의 데이타를 방송하는 환경을 가정하고 있어서 그 결과가 방송 내용의 변화가 많은 환경에 부적합하다. 본 논문에서는 데이타에 대한 접근이 반복되지 않을 가능성이 높고 사용자 접근 확률을 예상하기 어려운 상황에서 응답 시간을 개선하는 방안으로 수신 데이타를 무조건 캐쉬에 반입하고 교체가 필요한 경우 다음 방송 시각이 가장 가까운 페이지를 축출하는 사용자 단말 시스템에서의 캐슁 정책을 제안하였다. 제안된 캐쉬 관리 정책은 평균적인 캐쉬 접근 실패 비용을 줄임으로써 사용자 응답 시간을 개선하며, 서로 다른 스케줄링 기법을 사용하는 다양한 방송 제공자가 공존하는 환경에서 보편적으로 효과를 가져올 수 있다.Abstract Recently, many television broadcasters have tried to disseminate digital multimedia data in addition to the traditional content (audio-visual stream). The broadcast data need to be cached by a client system, to provide a reasonable response time for a user request. Previous studies assumed the dissemination of a fixed set of items, and the results are not suitable when broadcast items are frequently changed. In this paper, we propose a novel cache management scheme that chooses the replacement victim based on the remaining time to the next broadcast instance. The proposed scheme reduces response time, where it is hard to predict the probability distribution of user accesses. The caching policy we present here significantly reduces expected response time by minimizing expected cache miss penalty, and can be applied without difficulty to different scheduling algorithms.

  • Ontology plays an important role of the Semantic Web to describe meaning and reasoning of resources. Ontology has more rich expressive power through OWL that is a next standard representation language recommended by W3C. As the Semantic Web is widely known, an amount of information resources on the Web is growing rapidly and the related information resources are placed in distributed systems on the Web. So, for providing seamless services without the awareness of far distance, efficient management of the distributed information resources is required. Especially, sear ching fast for local repositories that include data related to user's queries is important to the performance of systems in the distributed environment. In this paper, first, we propose an index structure to search local repositories related to queries in the distributed Semantic Web. Second, we propose a query rewriting strategy to extend given user's query using various expression of OWL. Through the proposed index and query strategy, we can utilize various expressions of OWL and find local repositories related to all query patterns on the Semantic Web.

  • Recently mobile communication systems have supported various multimedia services based on wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA). In November 2013, the statistics reported that the domestic subscriber number of mobile communication systems was totally 54 million 514 thousand 397 in using feature phones and smart phones. Therefore, the user number of mobile communication services has surpassed over 4 million rather than the whole number of population. The sharp increase of the mobile user number has made the network management and analysis for mobile communication services more important than before. Besides, the service quality has been studied in various ways. This paper has implemented the simulator calculating the channel capacity of mobile communication systems to support secure and stable services for both feature phones on CDMA and smart phones on WCDMA. By using the simulator, this paper has analyzed the characteristics of the various channel capacity in mobile communication environments.

  • Semantic service can be defined as the service providing search API or reasoning API based on ontology and Web Services. It performs a pre-defined task by exploiting URI, classes, and properties. This study introduces a semantic service composition method based on a semantic broker referring ontology and management information of semantic services stored in a semantic service manager with requirements of the user. The requirements consist of input instances, an output class, a visualization type, semantic service names, and property names. This composition method provides dynamically generated semantic service pipelines including composit semantic services. The user can execute the pipelines provided by the semantic broker to find a meaningful semantic pipeline. After all, this study contributes to develop a system supporting human service planners who want to find composit semantic services among distributed semantic services.

A Study on the Web Service Quality and User Satisfaction at Open Market (오픈마켓의 웹서비스 품질과 사용자 만족)

  • The open market are expanding service quality which was used as rating scale in the field of marketing. In accordance with open market, they convert it to e-service quality and use it. Udo et al.[6] suggested web service quality combining e-SEVQUAL[2] and extended Information Success Model[7]. This study suggests four influence factors of e-service quality in the open market; website privacy and security, web site contents, web site convenience, and images of the open market companies. The study conducted survey on 301 college students and life long education center students in Busan. The study found that all four influence factors have positive effects on the web service quality and ultimately web service quality has beneficial effects on the satisfaction in open market users' information system.
