A multi-agent technology has emerged as new paradigms that can flexibly and promptly cope with various environmental changes and complex problems. Accordingly, many studies have been carried out to establish multi-agent systems in an effort to solve dynamic problems in many fields. However, most previous research on the multi-agent frameworks aimed at, on the behalf of a user, exchanging and sharing information among agents, reusing agents, and suggesting job cooperation in order to integrate and assimilate heterogeneous agents. That is, their frameworks mainly focused on the basic functions of general multi-agents. Therefore, they are not suitable to the development of the proper system for a specific field such as a negotiation. The goal of this research is to design a multi-agent framework for the negotiation system that supports the evaluation of the negotiation messages, management of the negotiation messages, and message exchanges among the negotiation agents.

This paper presents the design and implementation of MIB for SNMP-based PLC system which is applicable to communication for railway vehicles. The proposed MIB has four nodes which are "Basic Information", "Configuration", "Stats", and "Alarm." The essential peripheral functions for "Alarm" to improve the performance of PLC are deyised. ACF is for auto connecting devices without intervention of the user. DEC is for checking the loss of data and the presence of error. DLPF is for preventing the loss of data and error To evaluate the proposed system, the experimental set-up is developed and the experiments are successfully carried out. The conclusion points out that the suggested MIB contributes the betterment of the conventional PLC systems.

Desktop virtualization technology running on the local computing system in the process of resource depletion or degradation, such as upgrading the system to solve problems and manage critical information and systems must be protected. In addition, a virtualized environment by constructing a convenient stand-virtualized infrastructure and user space, and security from external attack or internal flaw or a problem, even if the service fails to respond quickly and should help to recover. In this paper, a comprehensive virtualization technology based on the client's desktop virtualization technology elements needed to find a local computing environment more comfortable and stable in the proposed new virtualization technologies.

This study is to propose the characteristics that a desirable quality, especially usability, evaluation method of hospital information systems(HIS) should possess. This study reviews the literature recently published in the academic journals which are in the Science Citation Index or registered by the Korean Research Foundation. Especially, the International Journal of Medical Informatics was the valuable source, providing almost 20 literature. The results reveal the need to develop a domain-specific usability evaluation method that reflects the uniqueness of hospital industry. The results show user-centeredness and context-orientedness are the indispensible characteristics of a HIS quality evaluation method too.

Public library statistics can be a useful tool for measuring public library resources and services and also supporting management process including planning and policy development. This study attempts to present an advanced national public library statistics system to report accurate description of public library situation. Main user groups and useful areas of public library statistics were identified through literature review, and the emerging trends of public library statistics systems at the national and international levels were summarized. Current public library statistics system, annually collected and published by the Korean Library Association, was analyzed and ways for the improvement were suggested particularly in the aspects of validity, reliability, consistency, currency, and utility.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate search efficiency of controlled vocabulary versus uncontrolled vocabulary subject access in online catalog systems. The question of the effectiveness of controlled versus uncontrolled vocabulary in information retrieval has been raised in many literatures. A debate continues in the Library and Information Science Professions over the relative merit, appropriateness, and efficiency of uncontrolled vocabulary subject access in online catalog systems. Actually users used to combine uncontrolled vocabulary subject searching with controlled vocabulary subject searching. But the success of user's subject search depends on his choice of search terms. Also the technical developments that facilitate cooperation among information services in general make it increasingly possible for such cooperation to take place on an international level. In this study, several common types of vocabularies on online catalog systems are described and compared, especially usages of vocabularies in multilingual environment are analyzed.

In a V2X convergence service environment, the principal service among infotainment services and driver management services must be supported centering on critical information of the driver, maintenance manager, customer, and anonymous user. Many software applications have considered solutions to be satisfied the specific requirements of driving care programs, and plans. This paper describes data flow diagram of a secure clinic system for driving car diagnosis, which is included in clinic configuration, clinic, clinic page, membership, clinic request processing, driver profile data, clinic membership data, and clinic authentication in the V2X convergence service environment. It is reviewed focusing on security threat issue of ITS diagnostic system such as spoofing, tampering, repudiation, disclosure, denial of service, and privilege out of STRIDE model.

As the P2P service does not have any administration authorities that are able to manage the behavior of participants and control the malicious users, malicious user can give harm to legitimate users for the benefit of themselves. To perform the secure transaction with new members who did not have past experiences on transaction, service users can differentiate malicious users and legitimate users by referring to the reputation information that provided by users having past experience. However, users can intentionally give false evaluation to other users on Performed transaction. We call these users as 'liar'. In this Paper, we propose a new reputation system for liar reduction to guarantee an accuracy on reputation information.

The purpose of this study would like to investigate the critical success factors of the e-procurement which means on-line purchase of goods and services for organizations. This action represents one of the largest expense items in a firm's cost structure. In order to draw CSFs of e-procurement system, we have surveyed questionnaire to the related firms. The basic variables used in this survey are taken from many precedent researches in relation to the e-procurement. On the other hand, the research data is collected from companies which had used the MRO e-marketplace. Through factor analysis of those data, four-factor resulted as follows: (1) factor one suggests the rationalization of the firm's management of its suppliers; (2) factor two calls for redesigning affected business processes and influencing end-user/employee procurement-related behaviors; (3) factor three refers to carefully orchestrating an e-procurement technology planning process with one's suppliers and using intelligence in designing the software and mining the data it produces; and (4) factor four relates to selecting an e-procurement solution and/or simultaneously participating in a number of electronic environments supporting e-procurement. In conclusion, these four factors are regarded as critical success factors for the application of e-procurement system and then suppliers should take care the effective planning of e-procurement structure.
