  • This study explored Korean college students' smartphone game behavior for the pastime. Smartphone games have weakness that is not appropriate for playing the game because of small screen and non-sophisticated interface for operation. To defeat the disadvantage, the games employed minimalism like conciseness or simplicity. The study explored how conciseness influences perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, flow, and intent to use the game through PLS path modeling. We found that every hypothesis except a path, perceived ease of use to flow, proved significant. This result means that smartphone game design should consider the interface of users' convenience and user experience practically. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions for future studies were discussed.

  • Since the existing Web search engines don't sufficiently reflect user's search intent, it is very difficult to find out accurate information that users want to find. Therefore, a lot of researches, study for personalized search, to enhance satisfaction of Web search results by analyzing search pattern and applying it to search are in progress in these days. Web searchers can more efficiently find information and easily obtain appropriate information through the personalized search. In this paper, we propose the personalized search based on community through the analysis of web users' query patterns and interest. Consequently, when applying query frequency, interest and community to web search, we are able to the confirm that the search results which hit to the search intent of the individual are provided.

  • Mobile electronic commerce is rapidly growing up on the strength of popularization of smart devices such as smart phone followed by internet user increase. Concurrently with this, the anxiety on information security and personal information leakage of the user of mobile electronic commerce significantly built up in recent. In this respect, the information security and personal information protection should be become aware of their importance for the sustainable expansion and development of mobile commerce. Based on the demands as mentioned, this study analyzed the effects of the awareness of personal information security on recognized risk, recognized confidence and intent to use. The result of this study indicates that information security and personal information protection contribute to improvement in confidence by decreasing anxiety and uncertainty related to mobile commerce. Reduction of anxiety and uncertainty implies a crucial point that affects psychological mechanism making intent to use higher.

  • In this paper. we develop associate knowledge extraction method for finding and expanding user preference knowledge automatically from web document database. To reflect user interest or preferences, agent explores and extracts relevant information to central term involving the intent of users from the example documents. To do so, we apply association rule exploration data-mining method to the extraction of the relevant objects in the web documents. Also, to give the weighted-value to the extracted and relevant information, we present associate tag block-based weighting method. We applied to bioinformatics above associate knowledge extraction method to find related keywords.

  • Recently, along with the improvements of geometry modeling methods using sketch-based interface, there have been a lot of developments in research about generating surface model from 3D curves. However, surfacing a 3D curve network remains an ambiguous problem due to the lack of geometric information. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm for estimating the normal vectors of the 3D curves which accord closely with user intent. Bending energy is defined by utilizing RMF(Rotation-Minimizing Frame) of 3D curve, and we estimated this minimal energy frame as the one that accords design intent. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated with surface model creation of various curve networks. The algorithm of estimating geometric information in 3D curves which is proposed in this paper can be utilized to extract new information in the sketch-based modeling process. Also, a new framework of 3D modeling can be expected through the fusion between curve network and surface creating algorithm.

  • Recently, a study of the system is underway in various fitness. However, the fitness machine is only to provide the data by the algorithm of developer intent and mechanisms for analyzing the user data is low level. The inability to provide accurate data to the user and occurs because of it. In this paper, we propose a mechanism for analyzing the user data in order to solve these problems and designed a fitness system based on this. A mechanism to analyze the data user by analyzing the user's body information makes like momentum for the user. The body of the user information is analyzed based on the analysis BMR(Basal Metabolic Rate) dimension, which is considered to be able to provide accurate information than existing fitness system.

  • IR (Information Retrieval) systems have the methods that compare relationships between query and index to identify document that may be fit to the user's query keyword. However, the methods usually ignore the importance of relations that are not expressed in the query. Therefore, in this study, we describe how to refine the queries' relation from keyword and to reveal the hidden intent. A useful relationship between query and keyword in IR wth studied and we classified the tion fromrelation. Firstfromall, we did researchmrelated on semantic relationship and ontolhiical researchmin foreign and domestic research, and also analyzed semantic network practices, information retrieval technolhiy, extracted and classified the tion fromrelationships s' relasite's real-world datamin whichminformation retrieval technolhiin fare applied. • Search engines that rely on morphological matching of user query and web document content do not support individual interests. This research proposes a personalized web search scheme that returns the results that reflect the users' query intent and personal preferences. The performance of the personalized search depends on using an effective user profiling strategy to accurately capture the users' personal interests. In this study, the user profiles are the databases of topic words and customized weights based on the recent user queries and the frequency of topic words in click history. To determine the precise meaning of ambiguous queries and topic words, this strategy uses WordNet to calculate the semantic relatedness to words in the user profile. The experiments were conducted by installing a query expansion and re-ranking modules on the general web search systems. The results showed that this method has 92% precision and 82% recall in the top 10 search results, proving the enhanced performance.

  • This study empirically investigates the design factors that could engender positive impacts on consumers' user experiences with respect to trust, attitude, and intent to purchase a product promoted in the virtual reality (VR) e-commerce environment. Guided by previous literature, we specifically test the role of schema congruity due to the design of the space and virtual agent on trust, attitude, and purchase intention in the context of VR e-commerce. To test the effect of the congruency between user's schema and virtual environment design on user intentions, a 2 × 2 mixed ANOVA design experiment was conducted with place creativity (Low vs. High) as a within factor and workplace attire (Casual vs. Formal) as a between factor. The result showed support for the effect of schema congruity on trust, in that interaction of the two factors were found. Significant positive relationship between trust, attitude, and purchase intention was found. Further implications are discussed based on results.

  • 3GPP(3rd Generation Project Partnership)-WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) interworking refers to the utilization of resources and access to services within the 3GPP system by the WLAN UE(User Equipment) and user respectively. The intent of 3GPP-WLAN Interworking is to extend 3GPP services and functionality to the WALN access environment. We propose an efficient mechanism for the setup of UE-initiated tunnels in 3GPP-WLAN interworking. The proposed mechanism is based on a secret key which is pre-distributed in the process of authentication and key agreement between UE and 3GPP AAA(Authentication, Authorization Accounting) server. Therefore it can avoid modular exponentiation and public key signature which need a large amount of computation in UE. Also the proposed scheme provides mutual authentication and session key establishment between UE and PDGW(Packet Data Gateway).
