P2P 협업 및 사용자 콘텐츠 이용 정보 기반의 네트워크 프로토콜 설계 (Design of Network Protocol based on P2P Collaboration and User's Content Using Information)

  • In these days, the big-size and high resolution multimedia file is widely used through networks. To transfer and service effectively, the internet network technology is necessary to substitute broadcasting. Normally Content Delivery Network(CDN) is widely used in conventional internet for multimedia services. But it has a small bandwidth to service. So to solve this problems, many researchers have suggest the protocol for download, content distribution/saving, server synchronization, caching, pushing rate, and streaming etc. But all of these has some defects like low resolution, packets loss and delay, real application implementations etc. So, this paper suggests a new method of network protocol based on P2P collaboration and user's content using information. And it evaluated the performance of suggested method. As the results, it showed the effectiveness of 4 performances indices : download speed, decreasing rate of connected user in same time, adaptive hit ratio, traffic decreasing rate.

  • Recent developments and trends in the electric power consumption clearly indicate an increasing use of DC in end-user equipment. According to the trends, new DC power distribution systems have been researched and developed although we presently enjoy a predominantly AC power distribution system. We can use various grounding schemes in DC distribution system as well as in AC distribution system to protect human body and equipments. However, we need to evaluate carefully which grounding scheme is appropriate for a specific system before applying those schemes. In this paper, we analyze the human safety and system effect according to various grounding schemes in Low Voltage DC (LVDC) distribution system. Some components in LVDC distribution system are modeled and computer simulations are conducted by using ElectroMagnetic Transient Program (EMTP).

일반화 감마분포에 근거한 소프트웨어 최적방출시기에 관한 비교 연구 (A Study on Optimal Release Time for Software Systems based on Generalized Gamma Distribution)

  • Decision problem called an optimal release policies, after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user, is studied. The applied model of release time exploited infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process. This infinite non-homogeneous Poisson process is a model which reflects the possibility of introducing new faults when correcting or modifying the software. The failure life-cycle distribution used generalized gamma type distribution which has the efficient various property because of various shape and scale parameter. Thus, software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement becomes an optimal release policies. In a numerical example, after trend test applied and estimated the parameters using maximum likelihood estimation of inter-failure time data, estimated software optimal release time.

  • Volatility plays a crucial role in theory and applications of asset pricing, optimal portfolio allocation, and risk management. This paper proposes a combined model of autoregressive moving average (ARFIMA), generalized autoregressive conditional heteroscedasticity (GRACH), and skewed-t error distribution to accommodate important features of volatility data; long memory, heteroscedasticity, and asymmetric error distribution. A fully Bayesian approach is proposed to estimate the parameters of the model simultaneously, which yields parameter estimates satisfying necessary constraints in the model. The approach can be easily implemented using a free and user-friendly software JAGS to generate Markov chain Monte Carlo samples from the joint posterior distribution of the parameters. The method is illustrated by using a daily volatility index from Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). JAGS codes for model specification is provided in the Appendix.

A damage mechanics based random-aggregate mesoscale model for concrete fracture and size effect analysis

  • This study presents a random-aggregate mesoscale model integrating the random distribution of the coarse aggerates and the damage mechanics of the mortar and interfacial transition zone (ITZ). This mesoscale model can generate the random distribution of the coarse aggregates according to the prescribed particle size distribution which enables the automation of the current methodology with different coarse aggregates' distribution. The main innovation of this work is to propose the "correction factor" to eliminate the dimensionally dependent mesh sensitivity of the concrete damaged plasticity (CDP) model. After implementing the correction factor through the user-defined subroutine in the randomly meshed mesoscale model, the predicted fracture resistance is in good agreement with the average experimental results of a series of geometrically similar single-edge-notched beams (SENB) concrete specimens. The simulated cracking pattern is also more realistic than the conventional concrete material models. The proposed random-aggregate mesoscale model hence demonstrates its validity in the application of concrete fracture failure and statistical size effect analysis.

  • 무선 통신 기술 및 GPS(Global Positioning System)등의 발달로 인하여 위치 기반 서비스 (Location-Based Services: LBS)가 크게 발전하는 추세이다. 그러나 위치 기반 서비스를 이용하기 위해 질의 요청자는 자신의 정확한 위치 정보를 위치 기반 서비스 제공자에게 전송해야 한다. 따라서 위치 기반 서비스를 제공하면서 질의 요청자의 위치 정보를 보호하는 것이 중요한 과제이다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해, 기존 기법은 실제 사용자의 위치를 숨기며 네트워크 사용을 줄일 수 있는 2PASS 기법을 사용하였다. 그러나 이 기법은 실제 사용자 분포를 고려하지 않기 때문에 실제 사용자 위치 보호를 완전히 보장하지 않는다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 K-anonymity를 보장하는 가중치 근접성 그래프 기반 최근접 질의처리 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 질의 영역 내 K-anonymity를 보장함으로써 사용자의 위치 정보를 보호할 뿐만 아니라 불필요한 질의 결과 탐색을 줄여 네트워크 효율을 증가시킨다. 마지막으로, 성능평가를 통해 제안하는 기법이 기존 연구에 비해 질의 처리 시간 및 네트워크 효율 측면에서 우수함을 보인다.

  • 본 논문은 공동작업을 위한 응용 프로그램의 설계 시 고려되어져야 할 사항들 을 분류하고 이 들이 사용자 인터페이스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 결과를 제시한 다. 사용자와 시스템간, 사용자와 사용자간의 실시간 상호 작용에 바탕을 두고 있는 공동 작업을 위한 응용 프로그램은 실시간 분산 시스템적 성격 외에도 사용자 인터페 이스를 제공해야 하며 이를 위해 고려되어져야 할 사항들로는 크게 동시성 제어 전략, 시스템 구성(topology), 객체들의 복제 여부(replication scheme)등을 들 수 있다. 이 중 가장 중요한 항목은 동시성 제어 전략이며 본 논문은 시스템 구성과 객체의 복제 여부와 함께 동시성 제어 전략이 사용자 인터페이스에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 공동 작업을 위한 편집기인 Coshed/SAS 를 통해 위 요소들의 적용 예를 보였다.

  • Recently, new Low Voltage DC (LVDC) power distribution systems have been constantly researched as uses of DC in end-user equipment are increased. As in conventional AC distribution system, High Impedance Fault (HIF) which may cause a failure of protective relay can occur in LVDC distribution system as well. It, however, is hard to be detected since change in magnitude of current due to the fault is too small to detect the fault by the protective relay using overcurrent element. In order to solve the problem, this paper presents an algorithm for detecting HIF using accumulated energy in LVDC distribution system. Wavelet Singular Value Decomposition (WSVD) is used to extract abnormal high frequency components from fault current and accumulated energy of high frequency components is considered as the element to detect the fault. LVDC distribution system including AC/DC and DC/DC converter is modeled to verify the proposed algorithm using ElectroMagnetic Transient Program (EMTP) software. Simulation results considering various conditions show that the proposed algorithm can be utilized to effectively detect HIF.

An Asynchronous-Driven Node.js Based Intermediary-free Direct Deal Distribution Platform Converged with Cloud Service

  • In this paper, a design and implementation for direct deal distribution platform is proposed to bypass the complex traditional distribution structure of agricultural market, as one of the fields where distribution patterns have changed. In the case of domestic agricultural distribution, demand and supply are unstable since the sales market is excessively concentrated in the designated wholesale market. Besides sales must go through multiple stages of distribution leading to problems in freshness and stability of agricultural products and downward pressure on profit margins for producers. To solve the above mentioned issues, we propose a cloud service convergence direct deal distribution platform based on asynchronous-driven Node.js. The proposed platform can facilitate a variety of direct trading functions and also access to visualization information related to agricultural products, which may increase user confidence at an intermediary-free direct transactions platform. First, we describe the requirements of intermediary-free direct transactions of agricultural products and transaction entities. Next the database structure and transaction functions are designed and then implemented according to those requirements. Finally, an API based cloud convergence service structure is designed to provide the analyzed information to ensure a trustworthy system.

  • 이 논문에서는 통신해양기상위성(COMS, Communications, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite)의 지상국 설계를 위하여 통신해양기상위성 기상탑재체(Ml, Meteorological Image)에 관한 기상청 요구사항을 분석하였다. 분석결과에 따라 기상청 요구사항에서 제시된 위성 시야각을 만족하는 관측영역별 배포 영상의 크기를 결정하였으며, 결정된 관측영역의 영상의 크기를 기준으로 배포 영상의 정확한 위성시야각 및 크기를 계산하였다. 이 논문의 결과는 통신해양기상위성 지상국의 상세 설계에 적용되었으며, 향후 관측 스케줄, 사용자 데이터의 배포스케줄 설계에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
