  • Management Information System(MIS) User satisfaction, which was introduced at the earlier 1990's, has become a core way of strategic method. But domestic companies have little experience toward this concept and the methodological knowledge was not cumulated yet. So the definition of User satisfaction, as well as the validity and objectivity toward the estimation, is being under discussion In this report we will contain the contents as follows, 1) investigate limitations of exposed theories about Methodology, 2) look into the situations and handicaps of User satisfaction estimation which is being used in practical domains on company, 3) search for the better way in application through comparative analysis between case study of customer satisfaction structure by structural equation model and by ordinary estimation model. We have conclusions through model that Index values like GFI AGFL RMR are accepted as within limited range for estimating validity of used model. so we can expect to use the results for deduce accurate User satisfaction index. Therefore satisfied Users became lesser at complaint behavior instead higher at repurchase likelihood, while unsatisfied Users became lower. Results as above are accordance with the previous studies, and that proves ACSI model to be applied toward local MIS Users' case. Even though the scopes of this research are restricted in domestic market of MIS Users, ACSI model itself has developed with the purpose for compatibility toward inter-company and inter-industry. So this model can be applied beneficially in the future study to analyse the extent that latent variables affect to User satisfaction.

  • Purpose: This article discusses public acceptance in the information distribution of Copyright Law no. 28 of 2014 and Government Regulation No. 56 of 2021 in Indonesia concerning the commercial use of music. Hospitality industry is one of the most affected by this regulations, which some hotelsrefused to comply. To get royalties, LMKN approaches with socialization either directly or indirectly to commercial music users. Research design, data and methodology: Quantitative survey by distributing questionnaires, then testing the validity and reliability tests using the SmartPLS application. The population studied were Hotels on Java and Bali Island in Indonesia. The research sample is 100 hotels. Result: R-Square value of 0.706 for the construct (Y) User Response which means that (X) Socialization can explain the variance (Y) User Response of 70.3%. This shows that the level of influence (X) Socialization has an effect on (Y) User Response. Conclusion: User responses regarding the distribution information of the Act indicate the need for socialization, because socialization provides literacy to the public. More frequent socialization will provide a good opportunity to increase the response of commercial music users.

  • WebDAV extends the web communication protocol HTTP/1.1 to provide a distributed authoring and versioning across the Internet. A property management, the principal ability of WebDAV, has many advantages for managing and utilizing additional information of server resources as well as supports a role of storage. Most WebDAV Application systems currently available are using WebDAV for providing simple storage space, not for the functionality of property management. However, to develop an advanced application such as a collaborative system based on WebDAV, it is very important to design and utilize user-defined WebDAV properties. In this paper, we propose DavSUDP(WebDAV Simple User-defined Property Definition Protocol) that describes XML-based configurations representing WebDAV user-defined properties and their processing steps. DavSUDP enables WebDAV servers to effectively manage user-defined properties in developing WebDAV-based applications. To show this, we extended the Apache mod_dav module to support DavSVDP and developed the OpenSpace in the iPlace collaborative system using the extended Apache web server.

  • Due to recently advanced electrical devices, human can access computer network regardless of working location or time restriction. However, currently widely used mouse, joystick, and trackball input system are not easy to carry and they bound user hands exclusively within working space. Those make user inconvenient in Ubiquitous environments.. In this paper, we propose multiple dimension human motion detection system based on wireless sensor networks. It is a portable input device and provides easy installation process and unbinds user hands during input processing stages. Our implemented system is comprised of three components. One is input unit that senses user motions and transmits collected data to receiver. Second is receiver that conveys the received data to application, which runs on server computer. Third is application that performs command operations according to received data. Experiments shows that proposed system accurately detect the characteristics of user arm motions and fully support corresponding input requests.

  • In this paper we discuss the elements which must be considered for collaboration- aware application design and their effcets on user interfaces. Collaboration-aware applications have inter-user and user/system interaction features besides generic real-time distribution system features and this restricts the design freedom with the requirement of consistent user interfaces. Programmers, therefore, must provide uniform and logically consistent user interfaces to user and, for this end, they should consider main design features such as concurrency control algorithms, system topology and object replication scheme. Among the design factors concurrency control algorithms have relatively significant impact on user interfaces and we consider the impact of concurrency control agorithms along with that of thesystem to pologyand the objectreplication scheme. Coshed/SAS, a groupeditor, is given as an example of application of the factors.

  • Encipherment in existing OS(Operating Systems) has typically used the techniques which encrypt and decrypt entirely a secret file at the application level with keys chosen by user In this mechanism it causes much overhead on the performance. However when a security-classified user-process writes a secret file, our proposed mechanism encrypts and stores automatically and efficiently the file by providing transparency to the user at the kernel level of Linux. Also when the user modifies the encrypted secret file, this mechanism decrypts partially the file and encrypts partially the file for restoring. When user reads only the part of the encrypted file, this mechanism decrypts automatically and partially the file. Therefore our proposed mechanism provides user much faster enciphering speed than that of the existing techniques at the application level.

  • There is a tradeoff between user's privacy and utility of context-aware services in ubiquitous computing environments. Many privacy models have been proposed to support the disclosure of personal information at different levels of detail, in ubiquitous computing environments. However, most of these models do not allow for explicit criteria to assess the benefit users are likely to reap by disclosing their personal information. In this paper, we propose an automated decision making mechanism that evaluates the "benefit of disclosure" for the users based on trust relationships between users and information requesters and manages the disclosure of user's personal information accordingly. Unlike other trust models, we do not regard the reputation of an information requester as sufficient to determine his/her trustworthiness. Instead, we represent trustworthiness as a function of information requester's reputation in the eyes of the user and his/her competence in a given context. To validate our mechanism, we apply it to context-aware healthcare application that monitors physiological condition of a user.

  • Representation of various types of information in an interactive virtual reality environment on mobile devices had been an attractive and valuable research in this new era. Our main focus is presenting spatial indoor location sensing information in 3D perception in mind to replace the traditional 2D floor map using handheld PDA. Designation of 3D virtual reality by Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) demonstrates its powerful ability in providing lots of useful positioning information for PDA user in real-time situation. Furthermore, by interpolating portal culling algorithm would reduce the 3D graphics rendering time on low power processing PDA significantly. By fully utilizing the CC2420 chipbased sensor nodes, wireless sensor network was established to locate user position based on Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) signals. Implementation of RSSI-based indoor tracking method is low-cost solution. However, due to signal diffraction, shadowing and multipath fading, high accuracy of sensing information is unable to obtain even though with sophisticated indoor estimation methods. Therefore, low complexity and flexible accuracy refinement algorithm was proposed to obtain high precision indoor sensing information. User indoor position is updated synchronously in virtual reality to real physical world. Moreover, assignment of magnetic compass could provide dynamic orientation information of user current viewpoint in real-time.

  • Geological symbols are used for describing geological information. But it's not ease to represent them in commercial GIS s/w, because of their complexity and diversity. This study aims at developing the geological symbol mapping tool for representing geological symbol on user's geological information. Geological symbol mapping too is a web application which can handle SHP format and map geological symbols based on user's requests. It manages geological symbols and mapping codes and symbols are mapped within the geological boundary according to the corresponding non-spatial field that is a mapping code. The system has functions to upload a user's GIS file, and download the converted image file which is mapped geological patterns. The system displays converted images to be check mapping results. Because the symbols are simple bitmap files, user(system manager) can design and apply them rapidly without considering specific commercial S/W. Thus, it is expected that this system plays an important role to disseminate geological standards such as geological symbols. And the results of this study can be used for developing global geological symbols and applying them easily
