Study on input data for developing virtual fitting model at internet apparel shopping sites and comparison of the results (인터넷 의류 판매 사이트의 가상피팅모델 구축을 위한 입력정보 종류와 결과 비교)

  • A web based virtual try-on provides customers a more enjoyable shopping experience that visualize clothes on personal mannequin. The researchers compared virtual fitting models which were developed in 2000 at Korea and in 2000 and 2002 at U.S. The results of this study as follows: The information about user's body size was required to input for selection of a virtual fitting model. 7 to 19 different body size, shape, and face features including weight and height were needed for visualizing virtual fitting model. The body type of the U.S virtual fitting model(My virtual model) was selected by front view silhouette for women, and by shoulder width and midriff silhouette for men. The more detailed information was required for developing Korean virtual fitting model. The additional body size information required in the site were leg and arm lengths, waist length, and thigh and ankle circumferences. The body proportion of Korean cyber personal mannequin was longer and narrower than the U.S cyber personal mannequin. It was recommended that standardized body length, width, and depth proportions calculated from national anthropometric data must be applied for developing Korean virtual fitting model. With application of more detailed information on face feature and advanced graphic image technology the 'My virtual model in 2002 resembled the human body shape of various race.

A Study on Developing and Proposing the Library Privacy Policy (도서관의 개인정보보호정책 개발 및 제안에 관한 연구)

  • A library privacy policy describes the library's willingness to protect the library users' personal information, and also serves as a code of conduct for library staff. In recent years, cases of privacy invasion have been growing exponentially in society as a whole, including at the library, and therefore the establishment and application of a privacy policy is becoming more important. In this study, we try to develop and propose the optimal library privacy policy. For this purpose, we derived implications by analyzing the domestic and international privacy laws and guidelines, investigating invasion of privacy cases at home and abroad, and studying different library privacy policies from libraries around the world. The library privacy policy that we propose in this study was created to be a guideline for librarians when dealing with privacy issues and is library specific, diverging in many ways from privacy guidelines used in other fields.

  • There are various studies to provide useful information for users on huge data of web-sites. Web usage mining among them is a method to extract meaningful patterns based on web users' log data. Most of existing patterns of web usage mining, however, had not considered users' diverse inclination but created general models. Web users' keywords can have various meaning upon their tendency and background knowledge. This study is for generating Multi Concept Keyword Model (MCK-Model) by analyzing web usage information on users' keywords of interest. MCK-Model can supply web page network for various inclination based on users' keywords of interest. Also, MCK-Model can be used to recommend the most proper web pages and it has been confirmed that the suggested method is useful enough.

Improving Collaborative Filtering with Rating Prediction Based on Taste Space (협업 필터링 추천시스템에서의 취향 공간을 이용한 평가 예측 기법)

  • Collaborative filtering is a popular technique for information filtering to reduce information overload and widely used in application such as recommender system in the E-commerce domain. Collaborative filtering systems collect human ratings and provide Predictions based on the ratings of other people who share the same tastes. The quality of predictions depends on the number of items which are commonly rated by people. Therefore, it is difficult to apply pure collaborative filtering algorithm directly to dynamic collections where items are constantly added or removed. In this paper we suggest a method for managing dynamic collections. It creates taste space for items using a technique called Singular Vector Decomposition (SVD) and maintains clusters of core items on the space to estimate relevance of past and future items. To evaluate the proposed method, we divide database of user ratings into those of old and new items and analyze predicted ratings of the latter. And we experimentally show our method is efficiently applied to dynamic collections.

  • The recent development of embodiment technology of the medical images makes most medical institutions introduce PACS in haste. However, while many older HIS and PACS systems are not yet capable of some of the integration, several new systems are moving rapidly in that direction. Typical PACS system architecture begins with the HIS since this is where the correct patient demographic information and in many cases the orders originate. So, PACS developed convenience of users and to satisfy user's demand because of financial limitations and administrator-oriented considerations in the process of development. Therefore, we have developed a CDA (Clinical Document Architecture) based PACS with HIS, by which we can search and refer to the patient's medical images and information with few restrictions of time and space for diagnosis and treatment. Target model of this research limited to 135 of hospital have 200 beds. We'll make more effort to develop the application which insures the better quality and information of medical images. Medical Image History manages the patient's image files and various medical informations like film chart in connection with time. This trial will contribute to the reduction of the financial loss caused by unnecessary devices and improve the quality in the medical services. The demand on the development of the program which refers to the medical data quickly and keeps them stable will be continued by the medical institute. This will satisfy the client's demand and improve the service to the patients in that the program will be modified from the standpoint of the users.

  • Cloud computing is a computing technique that uploads all the data from a cloud node to a cloud server and provides it to users as a service. This is difficult to provide services in real time depending on the network conditions. This is because it is necessary to download information to the remote site through the network, not the local area, and to download additional services to provide services in the cloud. So fog computing has been proposed as an alternative. In this paper, we propose an efficient data exchange technique between cloud, fog and user. The proposed fog provides services to users and collects and processes data. The cloud is responsible for the flow of data exchange and control between the fog. We propose a standard method for data exchange. The application for this is to process and service the information generated by the BAN (Body Area Network) in the fog, and the cloud serves as a mediator. This can resolve data heterogeneity between devices or services and provide efficient data movement.

  • With the development of computer technology, augmented reality (Augmented Reality, AR) technology in the future, one of the main directions of development of human interface technology is emerging. On augmented reality based on the design and implementation of a digital business card system. In this paper, a Smartphone is simply information through recognizable digital business card contains information about the system. Digital business card system is compared to the way existing hardware in a way visually-based high precision. In addition, registered as a 3D computer vision of augmented reality technology skills and real-world situations convergence technology for research. Future research, 3D electronic map for Smartphone apps as of the application user interface on the side for research is needed.

  • The Java language is rapidly being adopted in the Internet. The distributed applications and their application range are being expanded beyond just a programing language and developed Into software applications. A variety of researches are going on with regard to the Java Virtual Machine runtime environment and methods of analyzing the Java class files and utilizing the information for applications. A class file is a converted file that is executable by the Java virtual machine. Analysis on the class file structure and the runtime processes will be convenient in arranging the decompilers and debugging the source programs. This paper is about the runtime process analyzer that presents the runtime processes, including class files, more visually. The content of a class file will be easily accessed and expressed as in a graphic user interface. The information in the class file displayed is divided into Constant_Pool, Class_file, Interface, Field, Method and Attribute with information on method area, operand stack and local variables expressed visually.

  • The Process Safety Management (PSM) by the Law of Industry, Safety and Health has been performed for preventing major accidents of chemical plants since 1996. In terms of preventing chemical accidents more precisely, it is essential to develop a tool for quantitative risk assessment. For this, KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency) developed an Integrated Risk Management System (IRMS). The system is designed to assimilate data on chemical plant hazards from external database, to integrate these data with location information(topographic and demographic), and to make them user-friendly accessible. The system consists of several main functions: display of five major Korean petrochemical complex layout display of equipment layout with its information utilizing the external database, zonation of the hazard effected area with consequence analyses, the most probable accident scenario generation, accident/incident database and calculation of frequency of accident using equipment reliability database, etc. The highlight of IRMS is to provide the risk contours using GIS(Geographical Information System) technology. IRMS is intended to manage hazardous installation more systematically and effectively, to reduce the number of accident remarkably, further minimizing production loss in the plant. The system is now under application to about 500 PSM sites as well as and emergency authorities in Korea by KOSHA (Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency)

Genuine discrimination application using image matching (칼러정보 및 망점 정보를 활용한 코드인증시스템 개발)

  • Due to the technological advances in modern society, the distinction between mask and authenticity is becoming very difficult. to solve these problems, this paper describes a high-level improvement of the image processing technique of the code authentication system which discriminates the good and the bad by using the color information and the dot information. Labels were given to each genuine article and the article, which can not be distinguished from each other. In the proposed method, image matching of labels is performed using the opencv library, and genuine and good products are discriminated by using the halftone dots and w dot dots of each label. In this paper, the proposed method stores genuine and good labels on the server and compares them with the user's labels to determine genuine products.
