  • The use of a separator to control stack temperature in a molten carbonate fuel cell was studied by numerical simulation using a computational fluid dynamics code. The stack model assumed steady-state and constant-load operation of a co-flow stack with an external reformer at atmospheric pressure. Representing a conventional cell type, separators with two flow paths, one each for the anode and cathode gas, were simulated under conditions in which the cathode gas was composed of either air and carbon dioxide (case I) or oxygen and carbon dioxide (case II). The results showed that the average cell potential in case II was higher than that in case I due to the higher partial pressures of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the cathode gas. This result indicates that the amount of heat released during the electrochemical reactions was less for case II than for case I under the same load. However, simulated results showed that the maximum stack temperature in case I was lower than that in case II due to a reduction in the total flow rate of the cathode gas. To control the stack temperature and retain a high cell potential, we proposed the use of a separator with three flow paths (case III); two flow paths for the electrodes and a path in the center of the separator for the flow of nitrogen for cooling. The simulated results for case III showed that the average cell potential was similar to that in case II, indicating that the amount of heat released in the stack was similar to that in case II, and that the maximum stack temperature was the lowest of the three cases due to the nitrogen gas flow in the center of the separator. In summary, the simulated results showed that the use of a separator with three flow paths enabled temperature control in a co-flow stack with an external reformer at atmospheric pressure.

  • In metalcraft, there are two kind of skills, one is forming and the other is decoration. And we could discern these skills as metal casting and metal hammering.. In metal casting, there are sand mould, cire perdus, stone mould and sealed monld; In metal hammering, metal forging, repousse technique and metal sheet making. After make form, craftman can use the decoration skills. There are chasing hammering, line carving, dotted line engraving, hair line engraving, kicking line engraving, ring punched ground, inlay, filigee and granulation skills. In korean traditional copper alloy, the craftman used forming and decoration skills. In Korea, tradionally the clatter use bronze for copper alloy; in case of Japan, they use violet coloring, and in case of Chinese, they like to use bronze used copper alloy. In case of Alloy, korean craftman used bronze traditionally, but recently the copper alloy skill is usually used; in case of Japan shibuichi and shakudo skills are used; and in Chinese copper, brass and cupronikel alloy are used.

  • Software is continuously changing during development and after development. When a change is required, it is difficult to precisely grasp the scope of impact intuitively. A systematic method is needed to accomplish the required change. The purpose of impact analysis on software change is to avoid missing any information by recognizing the ripple effect that the change might cause. This paper proposes a dynamic method that can easily identify the scope of change request by using the association between use-case scenarios and artifacts of UML modeling in object-oriented development environment. By using this approach, the scope of impact that the change might have on other components such as class diagram and sequence diagram in use-case scenarios can be identified by forward tracing. In addition, analysis of influence of possible further changes due to changes in other components can be identified iteratively through backward tracing. The results of this paper are not limited to impact analysis on artifacts and change type. They can also be used as basic guidelines during impact analysis for various change requests.

  • This study aims to reveal the various differences within the factors that influence use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention, specifically in regard to the use motives and use behaviors of Netflix viewers. This study's results demonstrate that the following various factors affected use satisfaction, continuous use intention, and media substitution intention in differential ways. Firstly, the diversity of content influenced use satisfaction to a greater degree than social relations; and the diversity of content, social relations, and active participation all positively influenced continuous use intention. In other words, the more positively users appreciated the diversity of content, and the more strongly they had social relations, and the more actively they participated within communities, the greater degree to which they increased their continuous use intention for Netflix. However, the diversity of content and the convenience of use also had a negative effect on the media substitution intention for Netflix, which means that the more diverse the content and the more convenient the use of Netflix, the fewer the number of users who intended to cancel Netflix and subscribe to another OTT service or resubscribe to traditional media sources.

  • Case-Base Reasoning(CBR) solves the new problems by reusing the solutions to previously solved problems. But, there are differences between previously known case and a new problems. To solve this problem Case-Based System have to adapt the solution of the case to suit a new situation. In current CBR systems, case adaptation is usually performed by rule-based method that use rules hand-coded by the system developer. So, CBR system designer faces knowledge acquisition bottleneck akin to those found in traditional expert system design. To solve this problem, in this thesis, we present an automatic learning method of case adaptation knowledge using case base, we use a method of comparing cases in the case base to learn adaptation knowledge. The system is tested in the domain for the decision of travel-price. The result shows accuracy improvement in comparison with case retrieval-only system.

  • Many business forecasting problems are characterized by infrequent occurences, a large number of variables, presence of error, and great complexity. Because no forecasting models and tools are effective in handing these problems, managers often use the outcomes of past analogous cases to predict the outcome of the current one. They (1) observe significant attributes in describing a case, (2) identify the past cases similar in these attributes to the current case, and (3) predict the outcome of the current case based on those of the analogous cases identified through some mental simulation and adjustment. This process of forecasting can be termed forecasting-by-analogy. In spite of fairly frequent use of this forecasting process in practice, however, if has not been recognized as a primary forecasting tool, nor applied on a regular basis. In this paper, by automatizing this process using computer models, we develop a case-based forecasting system(CBFS), which identifies relevant cases and applies their outcomes to generate a forecast. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the CBFS in terms of its accuracy in predicting the outcome of the current problem based on the similar cases identified. We compare the forecasting accuracy of the CBFS with that of regression models developed by stepwise procedure under varied simulated problem conditions. The CBFS outperforms regression models in most comparisons. The CBFS could be used as an effective forecasting tool.

  • Test case for objcctoricnted system's integrated testing must be contained both methowmessage path and result of method execution. For this test case extraction, we should use scenario of dynamic modeling leveL Because we can reduce account of test case through user action's dependency analysis. This paper suggest test case generation method using dynamic modeling scenario. There are two advantages of this method are two. First, we can use computer when we generate test case for object's interaction and test result compare, Second, we can reduce testcase amount.

  • As we move from the industrial age to the information age, domestic industries are changing rapidly, and rural society is also laying the foundation to make use of information technologies. Through this kind of modernization, the size of agricultural facilities has been increasing on a significant scale. But, in reality, there are many difficulties in the maintenance of agricultural facilities in proportion to their growing number. Accordingly, this research aims to solve the fundamental problems that occur with agricultural facilities in the maintenance stage. In addition, it aims to provide information on how to maintain and manage facilities for farmers. The presentation of the maintenance information was conducted using a case-based reasoning method that solves current problems based on past cases. The tool of case-based reasoning was applied to define the establishment of the base for cases, characteristic variables and maintenance measures. The effectiveness of a CBR model was examined through the case study. The use of the case-based reasoning method is judged to be effective as a tool to support the decisions of farmers regarding maintenance. When the maintenance measures derived through the CBR model are offered to farmers, the fundamental problems of maintaining agricultural facilities will be solved, and the damage to such facilities minimized.

  • Test cases in the existing weapon system software were created manually by the tester analyzing the test items defined in the software integration test procedure. However, existing test case generation method has two limitations. First, the quality of test cases can vary depending on the tester's ability to analyze the test items. Second, excessive time and cost may be incurred in writing test cases. This paper proposes a method to automatically generate test cases based on the requirements model and specifications to overcome the limitations of the existing weapon system software test case generation. Generate test sequences and test data based on the use case event model, a model representing the requirements of the weapon system software, and the use case specification specifying the requirements. The proposed method was applied to 8 target models constituting the avionics control system, producing 30 test sequences and 8 test data.
