  • While there have been a lots of studies on the use of cyber money, few researches proposed the results on relationships among quality factors, usage intention, and usage characteristics of cyber money in online business environment. Therefore, this study investigates the relationships between cyber money quality and usage intention of cyber money, and examines whether the usage characteristics(frequency, amount) of cyber money has moderating effect on the relationship between cyber money quality and usage intention of cyber money. Firstly, multiple regression analysis tells significant causal relationship between functional and emotional factors of cyber money quality and usage intention of cyber money. Secondly, dummy regression analysis shows usage characteristics of cyber money has the moderating effect on the relationship between cyber money quality and usage intention of cyber money. This paper concludes with some implications for both theory development and cyber money practice.

  • Objectives: This study is a cross-sectional study to investigate the frequency of humidifier and humidifier disinfectant usage in the general population. Methods: A questionnaire was applied to 94 subjects (46 male, 48 female) from the general population of Gyeonggi Province. The questionnaire consisted of 3 scales (general characteristics, 5 items about humidifier usage, 5 items about humidifier disinfectant usage). Results: Thirty-five (37.2%) of the 94 subjects use a humidifier and humidifier disinfectant usage was found to be 18.1%. The frequency of humidifier usage is 4.8 times per a week and the humidifier disinfectant usage is 2.4 times per a week. Humidifier usage rate was highest in January. and then tended to rise gradually from October. Conclusions: Although this study population was not representative, we can say that approximately 50 percent of the humidifier users use a humidifier disinfectant and the trend of using a humidifier has shown seasonality.

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the relationship among the frequency of perfume usage and perfume attitude. perfume consuming behaviors and demographies. The data were collected from 352 female college students using questionnaire. Three groups including Large amount users(30.1%), Medium amount users(33.8%), and Small amount users(36.1%) were identified by the frequency of perfume usage. The results were summarized as follows : 1. There were significant differences on perfume attitudes and perfume consuming behaviors among the three groups. The more they use perfume, the more they feel pleasure and self-confidence. Most subjects preferred overseas prestige and popular perfume. And they obtained perfume informations through magazine ads and article. 2. There were significant differences demographic characteristics among the three groups. The older and the higher social status frequently used perfume. This study will provide useful marketing data and implications for activation of domestic perfume market.

  • Frequency occupancy data can provide information on both the actual ratio of usage of individual frequency channels and the average ratio of usage of these frequency bands so that the reserved capacity of the spectrum can be estimated. Such an estimate can be used for the planning of additional spectrum allocations and as a means of assessing the impact of new technologies on spectrum usage. In this paper, we introduce about the frequency occu- pancy measurement system that is developed in Korea. And, we introduce Frequency Occupancy Ratio with a time period and with a area zone by using radio monitoing measurement datas.

  • In a continuously expanding wireless world, the number of radio systems increases every day and efficient spectrum usage becomes a more significant requirement. Ultra-wideband (UWB) and cognitive radio are two exciting technologies that offer new approaches to the spectrum usage. The main objective of this paper is to shed the first light on the marriage of these two important approaches. The strength of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based UWB in co-existing with licensed systems is investigated. The opportunity concept is defined, and the requirements of the opportunistic spectrum usage are explained. It is proposed to take the UWB-OFDM from the current underlay implementation, and evolve it to a combined underlay and opportunistic spectrum usage technology, leading to cognitive UWB-OFDM. This way, we aim at making UWB more competitive in the wireless market with extended range, higher capacity, better performance, and a wide variety of applications.

  • As IoT devices become more common in the public sphere, the energy efficiency of embedded systems becomes a problem of major interest in addition to the system performance. Energy efficiency is important for portable embedded systems because they obtain power from their battery, and a low energy efficiency will result in a low usage time while a high energy efficiency will allow for longer usage time. In this paper, we propose a memory usage based frequency selection method to improve the energy efficiency of embedded Linux systems by using devfreq to select the device's system frequency. In our experiments, we found that the proposed method reduces energy consumption in an embedded device by up to 18%.

  • The Spectrum Usage Fee System which has been introduced and enforced since 1993 has had a great role for effective use of the radio frequency resources and the promotion of radio wave industry. However, the current system has been criticized due to several drawbacks. For example, broadcasting stations and national institutions are exempted whereas the overdue utility rate on some frequency has been imposed. So there has been rising the questions on whether the principles of fair imposition are broken. Another problem regarding the current system is that how to calculate the fee is too much complicated, and it needs to be revised into a simpler and clearer formulation. In this regard, this study intends to propose a new calculation framework for the radio spectrum usage fee and then prove its validity empirically on the basis of real data gathered from MIC and focus group interview.

  • This study investigates the customer satisfaction based on the various levels of many factors such as age, sex, period, motive, preference between wired and mobile service, frequency, and time. Customer satisfaction is measured by 13 dimensions. MANOVA reveals that preference between wired and mobile commerce service, mobile service frequency, mobile e-mail service frequency, wired Internet usage frequency, and mobile Internet usage time have a significant effect on the overall satisfaction. Transmission speed, fare, and ease of operation of mobile Internet service turn out to be improved for better customer satisfaction, the IMT-2000 service in particular.

  • By the report of KISCO, the 54.20% of total disaster and the 20.87% of death disaster was caused by unsafe position-control. However, it is possible to decrease this kind of disaster rate by designing the control device in the consideration of safety. One of the most popular control device is vehicle instrument panel. Therefore, not only basic function but safe control under the driving environments should be considered when the vehicle instrument panel is designed. For safe control at the driving time, it is especially important to determine the priority of each part using emergency degree and usage frequency, and to set them with this priority for easy control position. In this paper, developing method to determine the priority of each part by pair-wise comparison for emergency degree and usage frequency was suggested and generated the mutual order weights to give them orders. To apply this method to the parts of instrument panel such as function button, audio, air conditioner, and other several detail parts, the direct questionnaire was implemented to drivers about the emergency degree and usage frequency of each part.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this research is to test the impact of social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and employee performance (job performance and practiced creativity), and moderating role of usage frequency of SNS. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 299 questionnaires, completed by Chinese employees, were analyzed using SPSS 22 and AMOS 22. For the assessment of goodness of fit of the models, TLI, CFI, RMSEA indices were used. Result -The empirical results are as follows. First, social connectedness had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity. Second, team psychological safety had a mediating effect in the relationship between transformational leadership and social connectedness, job performance, practiced creativity. Finally, the moderating effect of frequency of employee SNS usage were not significant. Conclusion -This study analyzes the mediating role of employee social connectedness and team psychological safety on the relationship between transformational leadership and job performance, practiced creativity, which is helpful for the expansion of related theories and provides practical implications for effective human resource management.
