  • Entrepreneurship research has focused on several factors that might affect the intention of an individual to start an enterprise. Using principles from social network theory and the entrepreneurial intention model (EI), the current research intends to investigate how social capital is formed on Social Networking Sites (SNS) and how the resulting social capital influences entrepreneurial intention. Using an online survey, 151 valid responses were received from university students. Applying partial least square structural equation modeling, positive and significant relationship was found between the SNS usage and bonding and bridging social capital. Further, it was also found that online-bonding social capital does not impact any of the three antecedents of entrepreneurial intention. On the other hand, online-bridging social capital significantly influences personal attitudes and subjective norms. It was also found that both personal attitude and perceived behavioral control significantly relate to EI, while the subjective norms do not relate significantly to EI. The paper contributes to the literature on technology-based human behavior and entrepreneurship in emerging countries, opening some areas for future research, while also providing some managerial insights. It also should be beneficial to educational institutions in understanding how the use of SNS use by students may be optimized.

  • This research observes how an adolescent's usage of social network services is related with media use time, and also tries to verify how a parent's participation in acting to limit usage time serves as a mediating effect. For this analysis, data from The Korean Information Society Development Institute [Korea Media Panel Research] was used, being a survey conducted on 1,572 students from primary to secondary and high schools nationwide. The subjects' gender in the final analysis was 818 male students and 754 female students. In addition, primary school students consisted of 672 individuals, 416 were from secondary and 484 from high schools. To verify the appropriateness of the model proposed in this research, analyzed through the structural equation, using social network services(SNS) was not shown to have an effect on media usage time. However, there was an indirect effect from the use of alternative activities. In addition, the parent's limitation of usage showed no effect on media use time. This research attempts to identify the reasons why parents' limiting the usage time, along with alternative activities, do not have any significant effect in reducing media usage time in this era of smart media evolution. Further, this research hopes to suggest meaningful and political implications for the nation and society to understand and resolve media addiction.

  • The global stability of model reference adaptive control system (MRACS) in the ideal case was resolved in the 1980's. Hoever the improvement of the transient, behaviour of MRACS has not been discussed sufficiently even in the ideal case. Only a few attempts have so far been made at the application of MRACS to the practical systems in contrast to the theoretical systematization. Therefore, when we consider the practical usage of MRACS it is necessary to develop an improved design scheme with respect to transient behaviour. In this paper, we propose two design schemes improving transient behaviour of MRACS by mollifying the input synthesis in the conventional design scheme of MRACS. We present a design scheme of MRACS in which we utilize the design approach of variable structure system(VSS). After describing the above design scheme, we also propose the improved design scheme in which we introduce the dead-zone decided by the magnitude of the output-error between the plant and the reference model. The effectiveness of the proposed two design schemes are shown through computer simulations. As the results, by using these methods, the convergence of the transient response is greatly improved in comparison with the conventional one.

  • The Nuclear Power Plants(: NPP) are being protected as national infrastructure, and instrumentation and control(: I&C) systems are one of the principle facilities of the NPP, which perform the protection, control, and monitoring function. The I&C systems are being evolved into digitalization based on computer and network technology from analog system. In addition, the I&C systems are mostly employ the specialized logic controllers which are dedicated for the NPP, but the usage of generalized IT resources are steadily increased. The cyber security issues for the NPP are being emerged due to cyber incidents by Stuxnet and various accidents in the NPP. In this paper, hybrid access control model is proposed which are applicable to I&C system by analyzing the access control requirements specified in regulatory guides. The safety of in-service and under construction of NPP are effectively increased by applying proposed hybrid model.

  • A dynamic transportation management should be applied specially in AM peak because AM peak is more critical than PM peak in traffic volume and demand. AM peak trip can be characterized by commuting and schooling. which have the high level of usage on public transportation, and constraint on arrival time. So transportation management applied in AM peak could deal with a mode choice and an arrival time constrain. Researchers were involved in the dynamic transportation assignment models for management of congested traffic network. But, there were no models which considered a mode choice and an arrival time constrain should be included in management of AM peak. So there are limits to use exist models to control and analyze AM peak traffic. In this study, it is proposed the combined dynamic transportation model, considering a mode choice and the start time selection with arrival time constrains, based on Ran and Boyce's model. The proposed model is verified the compatibility by applying to the newly designed time space expanded network. The result shows that proposed model consistent with dynamic user optimal travel pattern. From this we certificate the applicability of the proposed model to control and analyze AM peak traffic.

  • The wireless capsule endoscopy played an important role as the evolutionary medical device to solving the difficulties such as diagnosing the intestine diseases. Due to the limited size and functions, it has some drawbacks. The most obstacle thing is the disability of self-motion, it means that it cannot provide the speed problem. Hence, the characteristics of human digestion system is briefly introduced, especially the intestine, to get the information of endoscopy dynamics. Next, in order to make an abstraction of the condition, a new dynamic friction model called LuGre model is introduced and clearly analysed to get the characteristics and the usage of the model. By the consideration of parameters that are tightly related with the real situation of the capsule endoscopy. The Matlab Simulink was applied to build the model and verified by the simulation to discover the features.

  • In Seoul, the largest emission source for volatile organic compounds (VOCs) based on the emission inventory is solvent usage followed by vehicular exhaust. However, according to a CMB modeling result by Na and Kim (2007), vehicular exhaust was the largest emission source followed by solvent usage. Detailed analyses on the validity of the CMB model result were carried out and it was suggested that the existing emission inventory for VOCs might be underestimating vehicular emission. Scientific considerations that should be considered for the effective control strategy against VOCs are discussed.

  • With rapid development of IT technology and biotechnology, human lifespan is extended rapidly, and we are living in the era where aging becomes the social issue. Due to this aging problem, manpower is mainly replaced by Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) in manufacturing factories or warehouse logistics transportation. Rate of AGV use increases sharply every year. AGVs, which were used only in Smart Factories, extends its usage into indoor and outdoor operation by changing their usages to container transportation that can carry huge containers in the harbor. With the expansion of AGVs usage, the importance of RCS (Remote Control System) is also increased. In this study, we surveyed and analyzed the characteristics and technology trends of technical features of AGV's RCS that are developing in various ways to establish quality evaluation system of AGV RCS. Based on this, and by referring to international quality assessment standards, ISO/IEC 25000 series, we derived evaluation items on functional suitability and usability to secure reliability of AGV RCS. Also, it is our intention to develop evaluation model using those derived usability and reliability evaluation items.

  • Grid computing enables a shift from a localized resource computing model to a fully-distributed virtual organization with shared resources, Accounting is one of the main obstacles to widespread adoption of the Grid. Accounting has until recently, been a sparsely-addressed problem, particularly in practice. In this paper, we design and implement the accounting information gathering system. Accounting information gathered at each local system does not include grid-aware information. To be useful in grid environment, grid user information must be included in accounting information. To make it useful in grid environment, we add grid user information with PGAM. Implemented system is based on OGSA, following GSAX framework of RUS-WG in GGF. And the schema of accounting information is following usage Record Fields of UR-WG in GGF. Also, the accounting information integrating and monitoring tool for system management in the Grid environment are implemented.

  • There is a need for content providers and operators to control the usage of downloaded digital contents. Digital Rights Management(DRM) is the means to control the usage of the digital contents once it has been downloaded. Therefore, appropriate security mechanism is required. The mobile DRM system Is same as the general DRM system. We use encryption technology to package digital contents. In case of Mobile DRM system, secure distribution and secure keeping of packaging encryption key is important. In this paper, we design and implement DRM system on the Mobile Environments following on OMA(Open Mobile Alliance) DRM Model. We considered being a secure DRM system to contain appropriate security solution.
