Fractal 차원을 이용한 워게임에서의 도시화조정계수 추정 (Estimation of Urbanization Factor in Wargame Model using Fractal Dimension)

  • With rapid urbanization, the importance of urban warfare is increasing, and it is also required to reflect the characteristics of cities in wargame models. However, in the military's wargame models, the urbanization factor was calculated and used without theoretical basis. In this study, we investigate techniques for estimating the urbanization factor using Fractal dimension theory. The urbanization factor we propose can suggest a logical and valid representative value when used in conjunction with Agent Based Model and other methodologies.

대구광역도시권의 지리통계적 도시환경구조 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Geostatistical Evaluation of Urban and Environmental Structure of Taegu Metropolitan Region)

  • This study was carried out to evaluate urban environmental structure in Taegu metropolitan region(TMR) with factor analysis, fuzzy set theory, geostatistic and geographic information system(GIS). The factor analysis could choose the representative one out of multiple variables and simplify the evaluation of the urban environmental structure. The fuzzy approach is an attempt to model an aspect of human thinking previously neglected; it starts from the premise that humans don't represent classes of objects as fully disjoint but rather as sets where transitions from membership to non-membership is gradual. The Geographic Information System(GIS) could connect attributes of factor scores derived from factor analysis to digital map by a method so called 'Spatial join'. The results obtained were as follows: Urbanization appearance was concentrated in the large cities, and this appearance was partial extremely, therefore, there has been a structural gap between urban area and agricultural area which was unified into the urban area. All inclinations didn't become worse after sudden urbanization. For example, suburban agriculture was developed as a large scale in the region near the large cities. Then it encouraged farmers in changing their old cultivating methods to the latest ones. But many districts in urban fringe had symptom of urbanization, the districts which were located between large cities have been developed gradually because of urban sprawl, and played a role in connecting each city. Therefore, due to the urbanization, forestry area and agricultural land, well conserved in the agricultural town, could be easily destroyed. In a different way with the urbanization of the Seoul metropolitan region, that of TMR was centralized upon the center of each city, and it was also very partial. But, because so many regions have the potentiality of urbanization, hereafter, the urbanization process in each region is likely to be different multifariously according to the urban management methods.

우리나라 소득불평등에 도시화가 미치는 영향 분석: 지니계수의 시차 자기상관, 공간의존성, 공통요인 효과를 고려하여 (An Analysis of Impact of Urbanization on Income Inequality in Korea: Considering Serial Correlations, Spatial Dependence and Common Factor Effect)

  • 도시화 현상과 소득분배 문제는 세계적 관심사이며, 소득불평등에 도시화가 미치는 영향에 대한 연구들의 결과는 분석 국가와 기간마다 상이하게 나타났다. 본 연구는 2000-2021년 기간의 지역 데이터를 사용하여 우리나라 소득불평등에 도시화가 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 특히 지니계수에 시차 자기상관과 공간의존성 및 공통요인 효과가 존재함을 확인하고, 이를 고려한 동적공간패널회귀모형을 통해 분석하였다. 추정 결과, 지역의 도시화는 소득불평등 감소에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 소득분배 문제의 개선을 위해 지역별 도시화를 지속적으로 추진할 필요가 있으며, 이미 도시화율이 높은 지역은 저숙련 노동자의 교육훈련 기회 확대로 임금격차를 줄임으로써 소득불평등을 감소시켜야 하며, 도시화 종착 단계에서 발생할 수 있는 역도시화 현상을 방지하기 위한 방안을 마련해야 한다.

일최저기온을 이용한 부산의 도시화효과와 도시화 원인과의 상관성 분석 (Analysis of Correlation between the Cause of Urbanization and Urbanization Effect of Busan by Using Daily Minimum Temperatures)

  • This study examined urbanization effects and the causes of urbanization, urban population growth, increase of the city scale, land cover change, and human cultures and economic activities, using the daily minimum temperatures of the past 50 years (1961-2010) with the subject of Busan and analyzed correlations between urbanization effects and the causes of urbanization. Thereby, this paper drew a conclusion as below: 1) Due to the urbanization effects, the average annual daily minimum temperature increased as about $1.2^{\circ}C$; however, except for the factor of urbanization, the increase was shown as about $0.2^{\circ}C$. The occupancy of urbanization effects in the total temperature increase was quite high as about 83%. 2) Just like other cities experiencing urbanization, Busan, too, sees population growth and the expansion of city area as well as increased urbanization effects. First of all, correlation between population growth and urbanization effect was high as 0.96 before 1985 while it was lowered as 0.19 after 1985. Also, correlation between the increase of city area and urbanization effect was high as 0.64 and 0.79 before and after 1985. 3) Regarding the correlation between long-term land use change and urbanization effect, urbanization effect was affected greatly by the increase of city area (0.97) and reduction of green area (0.92). 4) Concerning human activities possible to affect the climatic factors of a city, this paper found the following factors: road length, car increase, power use, and the consumer price index, etc. And regarding the correlation between the three factors and urbanization effect, the correlation was higher in the consumer price index (0.97), the number of registered cars (0.89), power use (0.75), and road length (0.58) in order.

시군단위의 불투수면적률과 도시화 지표의 상관성 분석 (Correlation between Impervious Surface Area Rate and Urbanization Indicators at the Si-Gun Level)

  • This study investigated the correlation between impervious surface area rate(ISAR) and various urbanization indicators at the si-gun administrative level. For the years 2017 and 2021, we built correlation matrices to examine the relationships between ISAR and eight urbanization indicators, including total population, working-age population, residential power consumption, non-agricultural power consumption, paved road length, permitted development area, numbers of registered vehicles, and cadastral 'Dae' parcel area. Additionally, K-means clustering was employed to classify the 229 si-guns based on the ISAR change patterns. The analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between ISAR and urbanization indicators for both years studied. However, the interannual comparison showed a noticeably weaker correlation between changes in ISAR and urbanization indicators from 2017 to 2021. The K-means analysis also showed that si-guns with higher ISAR values, typically urban areas, demonstrated a weaker correlation, while the cluster consisting mostly of rural areas with lower ISAR displayed stronger correlations. These results suggested that ISAR should be a significant factor for consideration in sustainable rural planning and development strategies.

  • 도시화는 전지구적 양서류 쇠퇴의 주요한 원인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시화가 양서류 생장에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자, 인천 도시지역과 가평 농촌지역의 논에 서식하는 청개구리의 형태와 건강도를 비교하였다. 도시지역에 서식하는 청개구리의 체장과 체중은 농촌지역보다 작았다. 그러나 건강도를 나타내는 비만도에는 두 지역간에 차이가 없었다. 도시화와 양서류의 관계를 보다 명확히 이해하기 위해서는 도시화가 양서류에 영향을 미치는 구체적인 기작에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다.

한국 부산광역시 수영구 지역 해안 대수층 내의 지하수 유동 및 염분 이동에 대한 도시화의 영향 삼차원 수치 모의 (Three-Dimensional Numerical Simulation of Impacts of Urbanization on Groundwater Flow and Salt Transport in a Coastal Aquifer, Suyeong-Gu, Busan, Korea)

  • 한국 부산광역시 수영구 지역 해안 대수층 내의 밀도 의존적 지하수 유동 및 염분 이동에 대한 도시화의 영향을 효과적으로 모사하고 정량적으로 평가하기 위하여 하나의 범용 다차원 수리동역학적 분산 수치 모델을 이용한 일련의 삼차원 수치 모델링이 수행되었다. 먼저 모든 도시화 요소들을 고려한 수치 모델링 보정을 통해 확립된 연구 지역해안 대수층의 지층 물성을 가지고, 도시화 요소들을 모두 고려하지 않은 도시화 이전의 지하수 유동과 염분 이동에 대한 정상 상태 수치 모델링을 수행하였다. 그 다음에 도시화 요소들을 개별적으로 그리고 통합적으로 고려한 도시화 이후의 지하수 유동 및 염분 이동에 대한 비정상 상태 수치 모델링을 수행하였다. 그리고 두 수치 모델링 결과를 서로 비교하고 분석하였다. 수치 모델링 결과는 해안 대수층 내의 밀도 의존적 지하수 유동 및 염분 이동 그리고 해수 침투가 이러한 도시화 요소들에 의해 크게 그리고 광범위하게 영향을 받음을 보여준다. 특히 이러한 도시화 요소들은 해안 대수층 내의 총지하수량 및 총염분량의 변화를 초래한다. 그러나 각 도시화 요소의 그러한 영향은 공간적으로 균일하지 않고 국부적으로 차별적이다.

광주광역시 토양의 지화학적 거동 특성과 오염 (Geochemical Behavior and Pollution of Soils in Gwangju City)

  • To examine the geochemical behavior and pollution of soils in Gwangju City, an analysis was carried out for pH, on the contents of metals, and organic carbon. Soil samples were taken from environs areas, industrial areas and downtown areas. The major factor controlling the behavior of metallic elements in the soil was chemical weathering of clay mineral in the environs areas, industrialization, and urbanization. Heavy metals including Cu, Pb and Zn were highly enriched for the samples from central part of downtown area. This indicated that the urbanization and the industrialization affected soil pollution. The results show that soil pollution in a metropolitan city which is caused by harmful heavy metals is severest in the center of the city. In consequence, it is inevitable that practical measures should be taken to prevent soil pollution expansion.

경기도 서부 일원의 민들레속 식물의 분포 (Distribution of Taraxacum in the Western Area of Kyonggido, Korea)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the distributions of the native and introduced dandelins in the western Kyonggido area and to determine the environmental factor influencing distribution of dandelions. One hundered and thirty seven study sites were randomly selected along roadsides in urban areas, arable lands, apartment areas and industry regions, and vegetation, dandelion's seed characters and soil acidity were sureyed. Throughout the areas the introduced dandelions were more widely distributed than the native ones. The native dandelions were scarcely distributed in the developed areas and roadsides. The introduced dandelions were dominantly distributed in the new environments where soils were alkalized by the trban development, road pavement, and construction of new buildings, while the native ones were mostly distributed in the rural area with weakly acid soil. The seed production of the introduced ones were two times more than that of the native ones. The seed of the introduced ones were lighter than that of the native ones. The introduced ones yield seeds more than four times a year. These results suggested the urbanization and the seed characters to bet the two dominant factors influencing the distribution of dandelions.

  • 호우로 인한 수해피해의 발생은 유역의 지리적 사회적 환경요인이 결부되어 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 2000년 9월 일본의 동해지역에서 발생한 호우재해를 대상으로 도시화의 확대에 따른 수해 발생요인의 도출과 함께 유역 주민의 수해에 대한 의식조사를 실시, 분석하였다. 아울러 기존 GIS데이터의 비교 분석을 통하여 시가화율의 정량적인 산정과 그에 따른 도시화의 진전이 유출기구에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 또한 이를 유역주민에게 유효하게 전달 공유하는 방안을 제시하였으며, 이러한 수해정보의 공유는 재해에 대한 대처능력을 고양함으로써 호우에 따른 피해를 줄이는데 기여할 것이다.
