도시 공간분석을 위한 지상·지하 공간 네트워크 (Integrated Ground-Underground Spatial Network for Urban Spatial Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose and verify a spatial network construction method that integrated roads and subway lines to improve the predictability of the urban spatial analysis model. The existing axial map for urban spatial analysis did not reflect the subway line that serves as an important moving space in modern cities. To improve this axial map, proposed a Ground-Underground Spatial Network by integrating the underground spatial network with the axial map. As a result of the integration analysis, the Ground-Underground Spatial Network(GUSN) were similar to the movement frequency. Correlation of GUSN was 0.723, which showed higher explanatory power than correlation coefficient of 0.575 in axial map. The result of this study is expected to be a theoretical basis for constructing spatial network in urban space analysis with subway.

도시근린공원의 식생도 작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vegetation Mapping of the Urban Neighborhood Park)

  • Vegetation maps present an inventory of existing plant communities, their location, extent and geographical distribution in the area concerned. For green space management and environment assessment accurate vegetation maps can be used effectively for analyzing the relationships between vegetation and the physical environment. However, the Current Vegetation Map, Forest Stand Map, and Green Naturality Map in Korea do not represent the status of vegetation community exactly. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to produce a detailed vegetation map at urban neighborhood parks in Korea by collecting the exact current vegetation data from field survey, and remote sensing(RS) and storing these data in geographical information systems(GIS). Ultimately it is intended to be used in planning and managing the urban green space. The study area is 66.1ha and it is classified into total 19 communities together with parks, orchards, bare land, grassland, tombs and gardens, etc. There is 53.7ha(81.2%) difference between the detailed vegetation map and the current vegetation map. There is also 46.9ha(70.8%) difference between the detailed vegetation map and forest stand map. After this study, it was concluded that it needs producing the detailed vegetation map used in managing urban green spaces because the existing vegetation map does not represent the status of vegetation in the study site.

특징점 기반 확률 맵을 이용한 단일 카메라의 위치 추정방법 (Localization of a Monocular Camera using a Feature-based Probabilistic Map)

  • In this paper, a novel localization method for a monocular camera is proposed by using a feature-based probabilistic map. The localization of a camera is generally estimated from 3D-to-2D correspondences between a 3D map and an image plane through the PnP algorithm. In the computer vision communities, an accurate 3D map is generated by optimization using a large number of image dataset for camera pose estimation. In robotics communities, a camera pose is estimated by probabilistic approaches with lack of feature. Thus, it needs an extra system because the camera system cannot estimate a full state of the robot pose. Therefore, we propose an accurate localization method for a monocular camera using a probabilistic approach in the case of an insufficient image dataset without any extra system. In our system, features from a probabilistic map are projected into an image plane using linear approximation. By minimizing Mahalanobis distance between the projected features from the probabilistic map and extracted features from a query image, the accurate pose of the monocular camera is estimated from an initial pose obtained by the PnP algorithm. The proposed algorithm is demonstrated through simulations in a 3D space.

부산광역시 대기환경 파악에 활용가능한 도시대기환경지도 작성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Establishment of the Urban Atmospheric Environment Map for Analysis of Atmospheric Environment in Busan Metropolitan City)

  • In this study the urban atmospheric environment map in Busan was made and it consist of the atmospheric environment element map and the atmospheric environment analysis map. The atmospheric environment element map covered the topography, the urban climate, the air pollutant emission, ozone and PM10 concentrations in Busan and the atmospheric environment analysis map included the thermal environment and the wind flow by using WRF meteorological numerical simulation. The meteorological elements from 2007 to 2011 in Busan were used in this study. As a result, in the center of Busan and Buk-gu along to the Nakdong river was the temperature high. To analyze the air flow of Busan 3 clusters depending on the wind direction were extracted with the cluster analysis. The results of the analysis on the detailed wind field of each cluster showed that the weak ventilation could be happened locally at the specific meteorological condition.

GIS를 이용한 도시기후지도 제작방안 연구 (A Study on the Urban Climate Mapping Method Using GIS)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 GIS를 이용하여 기후변화에 대응하고 도시의 온실가스를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 도시지역의 기후지도 제작방안에 대하여 연구하는데 있다. GIS를 이용한 도시기후지도 제작을 위하여 기후변화와 관련된 온실가스 통계자료와 공간자료를 수집 및 분석하고, 도시기후지도 제작 방안 정립, 도시기후지도 작성을 위한 GIS 프레임웍 데이터 구축방안수립, 시범지역에 대한 도시기후지도 작성 및 분석 등을 통하여 도시기후톱 유형과 도시 기후변화와의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 도시기후지도 작성을 통해 도시기후톱 유형별로 정확한 온실가스 배출량 및 흡수량을 산정 할 수 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 가정지역, 상업지역, 산업지역에서의 기온이 높은 것을 알 수 있었으며, 교통지역과 산업지역에서 단위면적당 배출량이 높은 것을 알 수 있다. 도시기후톱 유형별 도시기후 변화를 제시함으로써 도시개발에 따른 기후변화 영향을 제시하고, 기후변화 대응 및 적응을 위한 도시지역의 에너지 절감 및 온실가스 저감 정책 수립에 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

도시생태현황도의 활용효과 측정지표 개발 및 효과분석 (Development of Measurement Indicators and Effective Analysis for Utilizing Effects of Biotop Map)

  • This study aims at choosing indicators to measure the effect of utilizing biotop map, and analyzing its effect by an indicator from the perspective of performer. The Primary performance indicators are made through specialist survey using SMART. As a result, three indicators are chosen: "Discussion of the period of an environmental effects evaluation(reduced effect)", "Plan and execution of environment and ecology plan in an urban development site", "Minimizing ecological damage in an urban development." The result in each indicator is as follows. The indicator of discussion of the period of an environmental effects evaluation(reduced effect), the average reduction rate in statistically meaningful level reduced 6.08% and 11.64% respectively in 2004-2005. In this period, environment information system was established and the reduction effect is shown in this period by reinforcing environment effect estimation using biotop map. As to the indicator of utilizing biotop map in an urban development site, the Seongnam P site case shows that biotop map was used when they set up an development plan. In case of minimizing ecological damage in an urban development, the Gwangjingu G-dong case shows that it was used to appoint preservation sit, and mediate development restrict area. Accordingly, the biotop map utilizing effect is confirmed through core performance indicators and verification of the indicators using SMART. The further research is encouraged to find evaluate indicators and verify the effect quantitatively to increase the use of biotop map.

도시방재력 강화를 위한 재해 리스크 커뮤니케이션에 관한 연구 -리스크 커뮤니케이션의 도구로서 해저드 맵의 활용을 중심으로- (A Study on the Disaster Risk Communication for the Reinforcement of Urban Resilience -Focused on the Utilization of Hazard Map as a Tool of Risk Communication-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한국 도시의 방재력 강화를 위하여 리스크 커뮤니케이션의 중요성과 방법을 고찰하고 리스크 커뮤니케이션의 도구로서 해저드 맵의 활용 및 개선의 방법을 제안하는 것이다. 한국과 일본의 해저드 맵을 비교 평가하고, 최근 일본에서 활발하게 실천되고 있는 방재 맵 만들기 사례를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 한국에서 작성되고 있는 해저드 맵의 활용 및 개선을 위한 5가지 안이 도출되었고, 리스크 개념의 사회적 확산이 도시 방재력 강화에 커다란 도움이 될 수 있다는 것이 파악되었다.

도시계획 수립에 있어 도시생태현황지도 활용방안 연구 - 용도지역과 시가화예정용지를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Utilization of Biotope Map in Urban Planning - Focusing on the land use designation and planned urbanized area -)

  • In South Korea, there is a growing domestic need for a biotope map which contains ecological and environmental geographic information of a city. After the production of a Urban Ecological Maps(biotope map) by the Seoul metropolitan government in 2000, Natural Environment Conservation Act was revised in 2017 to make it mandatory for a local government to draw up its own urban ecological map. The aim of the present study was to find out ways to utilize an urban ecological map as a mean of communication between natural environment planning and urban planning sectors in a preliminary stage before introducing a big framework of 'environmental and ecological planning.' The northern area of Incheon metropolitan city was selected as the target area for this study. The major research content includes a comparative analysis of special-purpose zones, urban planning zones, restricted development zones, and conservation forests with focus on biotope types and Grades 1 of 'Biotope Type Assessment.' Farmland biotopes and forest biotopes within an area designated as an urban zone (residential, commercial and industrial zones) need to be redesignated as a zone which can conserve them. Especially considering a high possibility of damage to a large scale of natural green areas, these areas need to be readjusted immediately. If the entire area designated as an urban planning zone is to be developed, it is likely to cause serious damage to natural biotopes in the area (56.2%), including farmland biotope (30.4%), forest biotope (15.0%) and grassland biotope (10.8%), and thus, readjustment is needed. In case of a conservation forest, as it can possibly be damaged by the designation of special-purpose zones, it is necessary to match the designation of conservation forests or a special-purpose zones with their biotope types. In conclusion, we present a variety of thematic maps for utilization of an urban ecological map and propose a phase-specific environmental and ecological plan. Phase 1 is the establishment of a urban plan in consideration of ecological status; Phase 2 is the independent establishment of an environmental and ecological plan by an environment department; Phase 3 is an integrated management of ecological planning system and urban planning system.

도시계획에서 소음지도 활용방안 연구 (A Study on the Application of Noise Map in Urban Planning)

  • Increasing population in the cities, it has been demanded that urban planner should consider environmental problem. In this regard compact city has been strongly suggested as an environmental urban form which can reduce energy consumption. However, compact city can also cause noise problem, because residential buildings have to be located near roads and railways. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary for urban planner to examine the types of roads and railways before they are established. Noise map is able to be useful tool for the task.

  • Each class in remotely sensed imagery has different spectral and spatial characteristics. Natural features have relatively smaller spatial changes than spectral changes. Meanwhile, urban area in which buildings, roads, and cars are included is inclined to face more changes of spatial variation than spectral one. This study aims to propose the new urban complexity index (UCI) based on the 3D DWT computation of remotely sensed imageries considering these characteristics. And then we analyze relation between index and land cover map. The 3DWUCI values are related to class and the indices of urban area are greater than natural area. The proposed UCI could be used to express effectively the standard of urban complexity over a wide area.
