The purpose of this study is to analyze the issues related to urban regeneration project at the present time through surveys and interviews of participants in the urban regeneration leading project of Suncheon city. Most of the comments were related to business fragmentation and things that should be improved in the future. The text network technique is applied to the subject analysis using unstructured text data. As a result of the frequency of appearance and analysis of page rank centrality between words, words of 'parking', 'need', 'lack', 'region' and 'resident' appeared at the top, and the result of analyzing the mediation centrality of key words showed 'culture', 'Need', 'region', 'inflow' and 'lack' appeared at the top. In the network analysis, the most central words appeared, and many words appeared in the important position in the sentence. Text network analysis has provided timely results in terms of sustainability after completion of the Suncheon City Regeneration Leading Project..

U-Services, which are offered from local governments based on their Ubiquitous City Plans, are only focused on facility and urban management services. Also Citizen oriented U-service is only planned. This study's purpose is to propose the implication for provide of the Citizen oriented U-service comparing with U-Service plan of 'Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan' and 'Ubiquitous City Plan' through a network text analysis and word frequency analysis. It was calculated a important keyword that was extracted the service plan contents of the 'Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan' and 'Ubiquitous City Plan' of the four local governments. The network text analysis and keyword frequency analysis was performed through derived keyword. Based on the analysis results, awareness of the citizens can be expected to increase about U-City by activating a excavation of Citizen oriented U-service in a variety of sector through additional services and policy of financial support in the next Ubiquitous City Comprehensive Plan.

The purpose of this study is to improve the social acceptance of AVs by analyzing the citizen's perception using an emotional analysis technique which belongs to a type of text mining. The source of the data is originated from 3 year accumulated internet articles and comments on AV from 164 newspapers and Naver. According to the study results, there exists a positive perception on AVs, although negative ones are more frequent than the positive. Also most of people take neutral position on AV due to the unfamiliarity and lack of experience on AVs And these problems needs to be responded before AV's commercialization through continuous analyses on the perception and social acceptance.

The purpose of this study is to analyze bibliographic information of Busan and other cities' reports for urban development initiative and identify the strategic fields for future smart city plan. Text mining method is used in this study to extract keywords and identify the characteristics and patterns of information in urban development reports. As a result, in earlier stage, Busan city focused on service creation for industrial development but there are lack of discussions on the linkage of information systems with ICT technology. However, recent urban planning in Busan contained various contents related to integrated connections of infrastructure, ICT system, and operation management of city in the specific fields of traffic, tourism, welfare, port/logistics, culture/MICE. This results of study is expected to provide policy implications for planning the future urban initiatives of smart city development.

Traffic impact assessment plays a crucial role in resolving traffic issues that may arise during the implementation of urban and transportation projects. However, reported results diverge, presumably because the items reviewed differ. In this study, we analyze traffic improvement measures approved for traffic impact assessment, identify key items, and present items that should be included in assessments. Specifically, TF-IDF and N-gram analysis and text mining were performed with focus on urban development projects approved in Gyeonggi Province. The results obtained show that keywords associated with newly established transportation infrastructure, such as roads and intersections, were essential assessment items, followed by the locations of entrances and exits and pedestrian connectivity. We recommend that considerations of the items presented in this study be incorporated into future traffic impact assessment guidelines and standards to improve the consistency and objectivity of the assessment process.

The exploration of the spatial structure of a particular urban area, or the analysis of the tendencies of spatial consumption among urbanites, can be a literary-geographical attitude, shifting literary interests toward geography. It may also constitute a field of cultural geography that reads texts as cultural symbols. Based on this kind of attitude, the paper reads the literature of Park Wan So, particularly the popular novels that involve urban and residential spaces of Seoul, as a cultural text that carries a kind of symbolism. It proceeds with the idea that most popular novels reflect the mass phenomena of its times, and that representing real cultural experiences through text, it becomes a means of generalizing the identity shared by the anonymous masses and the characteristics of particular places. Hence the individuality of Park Wan So, who moved to Seoul during the Japanese colonial period and hence forth lived as a middle-class citizen, is inseparable from her literary work. With this attitude and methodology, the paper argues that in the urban space of metropolitan Seoul, the modern ambivalent gaze of the colonial period shifted toward increasingly new value systems, and was replaced by a dichotomous view, and furthermore, that the contents of this dichotomous view has experienced a multivalent transformation through the accumulation of time and the expansion of space.

The purpose of this study is to explore urban issues that have arisen in the urban growth process of the 1st New Town for about 34 years since its construction through newspaper articles. For this purpose, newspaper articles related to the 1st New Town were collected using web crawling, and content analysis was conducted based on text mining. The main findings of the study are as follows. First, in the early stages of the construction of the 1st New Town, issues were diverse in the following six sectors: living service facilities, real estate, transportation, urban development and maintenance, safety, and housing supply, but gradually narrowed down to those of real estate and urban development and maintenance. Second, during the new town construction and urban stabilization stages, the network structure centered on 'Seoul' was maintained, which can be explained by the fact that the 1st New Town was geographically located on the outskirts of Seoul, and many articles compared the issues to Seoul. Third, the issue of urban aging appeared from the 10th year after construction, and the discussion on urban reorganization due to urban aging began in earnest from the 30th year after construction. The significance of the study is that it explored the urban issues that occurred throughout the urban growth process of the 1st New Town, and can be used as a basis for preparing a plan to reorganize the 1st New Town.
