위성영상자료를 활용한 도시성장변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Urban Growth Change using Satellite Imagery Data)

  • 원격탐사는 상대적으로 적은 비용으로 넓은 지역에 대해 최신의 정보를 광범위하게 제공하며 지리정보의 갱신 및 도시변화 관찰에 있어 전통적인 방법(실측, 사진측량 등)에 비해 커다란 장점을 지니고 있으나, 현재까지는 공간 해상도의 한계로 인해 제한된 분야에서만 활용되어 왔으나 공간해상도 1m급의 위성영상이 상용화되고 있는 현 시점에서 위성영상의 활용방법에 대한 연구가 매우 시급하다 할 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 다시기 위성영상을 이용해 도시지역의 성장변화를 모니터링 할 수 있는 방법을 고찰하는 것이다. 즉, 특정년도의 영상에서 추출하고자 하는 특정지표요소의 분광특성을 이용하여 개개 지표요소가 픽셀에서 차지하는 비율을 SMA알고리즘을 적용하여 개개 지표요소의 분류영상을 생성하여, 도시지역을 추출하고, 이 방법을 다시기 영상에 적용하여 변화가 일어난 지역을 추출하는 것이다. 이러한 방법으로 도시지역의 성장변화를 관찰하는 알고리즘 연구와 도시성장변화를 모니터링 하는 연구에 원격탐사자료의 활용가능성을 제시하고자 한다.

FRAGSTATS를 활용한 경관다양성의 시공간적 분석 (Temporal-Spatial Analysis of Landscape Diversity using FRAGSTATS)

  • This research selected Daegu Metropolitan City representing a combination of natural space and urban space for this case study. To achieve this, a prerequisite was to set up an optimal block size to evaluate landscape diversity of the research site by using a RPR-Area Curve. Further, landscape diversity evaluation was conducted based on land cover map by using FRAGSTATS to analyze spatio-temporal changes. Notably, this research regarded it as the most significant to set forth criteria in order to apply landscape diversity to the development plans of the newtown and outskirt of a city under high pressure development. Results derived from this research are summarized as follows. According to the results derived from establishing the optimal block size, a size about $2km^2$ was analyzed to measure landscape diversity of the research site. Also, according to the results derived from land diversity evaluation based on land cover map, land diversity was highly measured around urban stream such as Nakdong River and Geumho River, and in particular, the value of landscape diversity was measured considerably high around the urban parks. Results derived from analysis on spatio-temporal changes of land diversity demonstrated that a certain level of urban development exerted a positive effect on an increase in land diversity, but consistent urban development lowered a value of landscape diversity. Results derived from regression analysis to set forth the optimal urban space showed that an urban area of a space about $2km^2$ exerted a positive effect at a rate of about 0~43.3% and a negative effect at a rate about 43.3~100%. In conclusion, the results of this research are considered to provide important basic data for future urban and landscape planning. Nonetheless, as only the layout on the 2D plane was analyzed in this research, further research in future is required to complexly consider diverse factors such as height of structure and change in visible real area arising from geographical features.

Convolutional Neural Network based Audio Event Classification

  • This paper proposes an audio event classification method based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs). CNN has great advantages of distinguishing complex shapes of image. Proposed system uses the features of audio sound as an input image of CNN. Mel scale filter bank features are extracted from each frame, then the features are concatenated over 40 consecutive frames and as a result, the concatenated frames are regarded as an input image. The output layer of CNN generates probabilities of audio event (e.g. dogs bark, siren, forest). The event probabilities for all images in an audio segment are accumulated, then the audio event having the highest accumulated probability is determined to be the classification result. This proposed method classified thirty audio events with the accuracy of 81.5% for the UrbanSound8K, BBC Sound FX, DCASE2016, and FREESOUND dataset.

  • Much has been said in the 21st century about advanced information society following industrial society, so information appeared obviously. Based on the development of digital network due to such highly developed information, foresee a new phenomenon in anthropology. The new phenomenon is urban nomad such jobnomad who may change the culture of settlement with a long history into the culture of nomad. This study was to analyze the culture and fashion style of job nomad who may be a trend of fashion in the future. The results of this study are as follows Firstly, the features of job nomad are new communication technology and information technology called new media. And key words for job nomad are non-possession and professionalism and their feature in labor is one(1) person project. Secondly, job nomad to be a trend of future fashion is seeking wearable electric machine - wearable computer fashion. Thirdly, Zen style fashion reflecting Zen idea has such features as naturalism. indeterminism, equalitarianism, and moderation. Those features coincide with the tendency of job nomad who may lead the culture of fashion in the 21st century and do with human being's life style in the 21st century. Expect that job nomad appears newly in social and cultural phenomenon through this study can be developed toward a new and sensible fashion.

MODIFIED DOUBLE SNAKE ALGORITHM FOR ROAD FEATURE UPDATING OF DIGITAL MAPS USING QUICKBIRD IMAGERY

  • Road networks are important geospatial databases for various GIS (Geographic Information System) applications. Road digital maps may contain geometric spatial errors due to human and scanning errors, but manually updating roads information is time consuming. In this paper, we developed a new road features updating methodology using from multispectral high-resolution satellite image and pre-existing vector map. The approach is based on initial seed point generation using line segment matching and a modified double snake algorithm. Firstly, we conducted line segment matching between the road vector data and the edges of image obtained by Canny operator. Then, the translated road data was used to initialize the seed points of the double snake model in order to refine the updating of road features. The double snake algorithm is composed of two open snake models which are evolving jointly to keep a parallel between them. In the proposed algorithm, a new energy term was added which behaved as a constraint. It forced the snake nodes not to be out of potential road pixels in multispectral image. The experiment was accomplished using a QuickBird pan-sharpened multispectral image and 1:5,000 digital road maps of Daejeon. We showed the feasibility of the approach by presenting results in this urban area.

Spatio-temporal Load Forecasting Considering Aggregation Features of Electricity Cells and Uncertainties in Input Variables

  • Spatio-temporal load forecasting (STLF) is a foundation for building the prediction-based power map, which could be a useful tool for the visualization and tendency assessment of urban energy application. Constructing one point-forecasting model for each electricity cell in the geographic space is possible; however, it is unadvisable and insufficient, considering the aggregation features of electricity cells and uncertainties in input variables. This paper presents a new STLF method, with a data-driven framework consisting of 3 subroutines: multi-level clustering of cells considering their aggregation features, load regression for each category of cells based on SLS-SVRNs (sparse least squares support vector regression networks), and interval forecasting of spatio-temporal load with sampled blind number. Take some area in Pudong, Shanghai as the region of study. Results of multi-level clustering show that electricity cells in the same category are clustered in geographic space to some extent, which reveals the spatial aggregation feature of cells. For cellular load regression, a comparison has been made with 3 other forecasting methods, indicating the higher accuracy of the proposed method in point-forecasting of spatio-temporal load. Furthermore, results of interval load forecasting demonstrate that the proposed prediction-interval construction method can effectively convey the uncertainties in input variables.

A Study on 3D Road Extraction From Three Linear Scanner

  • The extraction of 3D road network from high-resolution aerial images is still one of the current challenges in digital photogrammetry and computer vision. For many years, there are many researcher groups working for this task, but unt il now, there are no papers for doing this with TLS (Three linear scanner), which has been developed for the past several years, and has very high-resolution (about 3 cm in ground resolution). In this paper, we present a methodology of road extraction from high-resolution digital imagery taken over urban areas using this modern photogrammetry’s scanner (TLS). The key features of the approach are: (1) Because of high resolution of TLS image, our extraction method is especially designed for constructing 3D road map for next -generation digital navigation map; (2) for extracting road, we use the global context of the intensity variations associated with different features of road (i.e. zebra line and center line), prior to any local edge. So extraction can become comparatively easy, because we can use different special edge detector according different features. The results achieved with our approach show that it is possible and economic to extract 3D road data from Three Linear Scanner to construct next -generation digital navigation road map.

능동 안전장치의 한국 운전자 주행 평가 (Active Safety Features Evaluation with Korean Drivers)

  • A study assessing driver acceptance level for various active safety systems against Korean drivers has been conducted. A 2013 Cadillac ATS model vehicle was tested along southern outskirt of Seoul including local roadway and interurban highway. Active safety systems included were FCA(Forward Collision Alert), LDW(Lane Departure Warning), SBZA(Side Blind Zone Alert), FRPA(Front/Rear Park Assist), RCTA(Rear Cross Traffic Alert), ACC(Adaptive Cruise Control), and AEB(Autonomous Emergency Braking). Participants experienced the FRPA, RCTA and AEB features in a controlled parking lot with a dummy vehicle and traffic cones as target obstacles. Remaining features have been tested on the accumulated stretched of 106 km long urban and interurban roadway. Series of questionnaires corresponding to each active safety systems have been conducted. Tentative results revealed that RCTA and SBZA systems received favourable ratings compared to the other ones.

공공재를 활용한 도시유산의 경관 보전 및 관리개선방안 - 서울시 사적을 중심으로 - (Measures to Implements the Landscape Conservation and Management Urban Heritage Utilizing Public Goods: Focused on the Historic Sites of Seoul)

  • 본 연구는 급변하는 도시 환경에 노출된 도시유산의 경관 보전 및 관리개선을 위한 방안으로 공공재를 활용한 도시유산의 확대와 도시유산과 도시공간과의 연계방안을 제시하고자 함을 목적으로 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 도시공간에서 유산의 이해를 높이기 위해 고시도면인 지형도면과 현상변경허용기준, 문화재청 홈페이지의 문화재보존 관리지도를 이용하여 1:1,000지도에 도시유산을 작성하고 주변에 위치한 모든 공공시설을 파악하여 기본도를 작성하였다. 둘째, 도시유산의 현황도 작성을 위해 도시유산과 유산 주변의 현황 및 변화상을 2005년부터 2014년까지 10년간의 사적분과 문화재위원회 회의록을 분석하여 도시유산 주변의 개발행위를 파악하였으며, 도시유산 주변의 보전 가능 지역 및 도시 내 도시유산의 잠재력을 상살 시킬 수 있는 지역을 찾아 활용할 수 있도록 도시유산 주변의 토지이용을 살펴보았다. 또한 현황도 작성 시 도시유산 주변지역의 입지적 특성을 파악하기 위해 단면도를 작성하였으며, 도시유산 주변의 현장 기록화를 위해 유산 및 공공시설의 주요 지점에서 사진촬영을 하였다. 셋째, 도시유산과 유산 주변의 공공시설과의 거리, 위치, 기능, 분포 등의 관계에 의해 도시유산에 미치는 영향 및 잠재적 자원으로서의 기능을 시각적 특징과 동선에 의해 분석하여 도시유산의 전면경관과 유산을 포함한 역사문화경관의 보호방안을 도출하였으며, 또한 공공재의 도시공간에서의 역할 및 도시유산 주변의 활성화 방안을 도출하였다. 넷째, 도시유산 주변의 공공시설 중 도시유산에 직접 또는 간접적인 영향을 주는 공공재를 선정하고, 공공재가 도시유산에 미치는 시각적, 면적, 선적 요소들을 통해 공공재의 역할을 파악하였으며, 이를 통해 도시유산의 경관 및 관리 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

도시와 농촌에서 발생한 독사 교상 환자의 임상적 양상과 합병증 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Clinical Features and Complications of Snake Bite Patients in Urban and Rural Areas)

  • 이 연구는 도시와 농촌에서 발생한 독사 교상환자의 임상적 특징과 합병증 발생의 차이를 비교하고자 시행하였다. 독사 교상으로 응급실에 내원한 18세 이상의 환자를 대상으로 2013년 1월부터 2019년 12월까지 7년간의 의무기록을 이용하여 조사하였다. 환자는 독사 교상이 발생한 지역에 따라 도시지역 그룹과 농촌지역 그룹으로 나누어 임상적 특성과 합병증을 비교하였다. 그 결과 전체 77명의 연구대상 중 44명(57.1%)이 농촌지역 그룹으로 조사되었다. 도시에서 발생한 독사 교상 환자보다 농촌지역 환자에서 평균 연령이 높았고, 중등도도 높았으며, 교상 장소에서 병원까지의 거리가 멀어 항뱀독소 치료를 포함한 응급처치 지연으로 급성 신기능 부전, 횡문근융해증, 혈액 응고 장애와 같은 합병증 발생이 많았다. 독사 교상에서 핵심이 되는 치료는 항뱀독소 치료로 교상 후 가능한 빨리 투여하는 것이 중요하다. 증상이 진행한 후에 항뱀독소를 투여할 경우, 초기투여 시보다 더 많은 양의 항뱀독소 투여가 필요하다. 농촌은 의료 취약 지역으로 의료 접근성이 떨어지고 고령의 비율이 높아 상대적으로 나쁜 예후를 나타낸다. 따라서 이러한 문제 해결을 위해서는 지방의 중소형 병원에서도 항뱀독소 이용이 가능하도록 해야 하며 그러지 못할 때는 빠르게 대형 병원으로의 이송이 필요하다.
