The spider fauna of DMZ(Demilitarized Zone) of Chulwon in Kangwon-do, Korea was investigated. As a result, the authors present a list of 54 species of 54 genera in 14 families (2 unidentified species newly known to Korea; Evarch sp(C)., Helicius sp. (A)) and revise Asianellus festivus of the unrecorded genus to be transferred from the genus Phlegra from Korea.

Four species, Colpotrochia bifasciata, C. munda, C. pilosa sinensis, and C. uchidai, are newly recognized in South Korea. The genus Colpotrochia Holmgren, 1856 is a large group of the subfamily Metopiinae, in Ichneumonidae, and contains 62 described species worldwide. Among them, nine species have been recorded from South Korea. The South Korean Colpotrochia was started from by Uchida in 1930. A comprehensive historical review of the faunal study of this genus in South Korea have been done by Kim and Japanese entomologists in the period of 1955-1966. In this study, diagnoses of four unrecorded species and illustrations of diagnostic characters are provided. The current total is 13 species of this genus known from South Korea.

Two leaf-miner flies, Phytomyza japonica and Phytomyza yasumastui, are newly added to the Korean fauna. A key to Korean species of the genus Phytomyza is given. The known host plants and domestic localities are included.

One species of the genus Camponotus Mayr was newly recorded in South Korea. It was collected from Suhari, Subi-myeon, Yeongyang-gun and Gyeongsangbuk-do. Its corresponding descriptions, measurements and photographs were supplemented for the Camponotus yessensis Yasumatsu & Brown 1951.

More than one-hundred-twenty specimens of Basidiomycetes, Ascomycetes and slime molds were collected in Seoul National Polytechnic University Campus during the priod from June 1984 to November 1987 and examined for identity. They were classified into 25 families, 53 genera and 81 species. Among them, one genus and 2 species were confirmed as unrecorded taxa in Korea. The unrecorded genus was genus Hapalopilus and was named 'Band Dal Busut' in vernacular. The unrecorded 2 species were Hapalopilus rutilans and Hygrophorus nitratus. They were named 'No Lan Ban Dal Busut' and 'Jil San Beot Geot Busut,' respectively and their characteristics were here reported.

We report an unrecorded taxon of genus Viola, V. grypoceras A. Gray var. pubescens Nakai, collected on Jeju Island, Korea. The distribution of this variety was restricted to the northern part of Japan, Hokkaido in particular. It is distinguished from V. grypoceras in that it is densely pilose except on its spur and lateral petals. We gave it the Korean name 'Tul-nak-si-je-bi-kkot' based on the morphological characters. In addition, some illustrations of this variety and a key to the V. grypoceras complex were provided.

Five unrecorded species (Oedipodium griffithianum, Myurella tenerrima, Trachypus bicolor, Coscinodon humilis, Meteorium miquelianum subsp. atrovariegatum) with one unrecorded family and two unrecorded genera, were reported as new to the Korean moss flora. The monotypic family Oedipodiaceae consisting of a single genus and single species was distinguished from Splachnaceae by small plants that were 10 mm in length simple or sometimes branched, obovate-spathulate to ${\pm}$ orbicular, costa ending below the apex and entire margins except for the lower long-ciliate portion The species was first found at the top of the Mt. Seorak at an altitude of 1708 m. The two genera, Myurella and Coscinodon were found in the Korean Peninsula. Myurella tenerrima (Theliaceae) was found around the top of Jung-bong on Mt. Jiri. It was mixed with other mosses in the crevices of rocks in the alpine regions. The species is similar to M. sibirica, yet it can be distinguished by the position of papilla in the median laminal cells. Coscinodon humilis (Grimmiaceae) were found on the ridge of Mt. Gaya. C. humilis has a variety of hyaline apex according to leaf position and forms a capsule so it can be distinguished by family. Trachypus bicolor and Meteorium miquelianum subsp. atrovariegatum are unrecorded species. T. bicolor (Trachypodaceae) were found on the ridge of Mt. Gaya. T. bicolor is similar to T. humilis but distinguished by the costal lengths of the leaves. M. miquelianum subsp. atrovariegatum (Meteoriaceae) was found in Gageo-do. This species was distinguished by the plant form and morphology of stem leaves in the same genus.

Tow unrecorded species of orb weavers belonging to genus Neoscona(Araneae: Araneidae) which were recently described from China for the first tiem were described from Korea. Korean spiders belonging to genus Neoscona, therefore, becomes 10 species with 8 recorded species.

Unrecorded species from the beach at Gangnung City is reported: Cakile edentula, Brassicaceae. The genus Cakile is unrecorded in Korea and easily distinguished from other genera in Brassicaceae by the upper member of fruits distinctly longer or thicker than the lower part, petiole white or anthocyanic, style absent and leaves glabrous. The local name is Seo-yang-gaet-naeng-i and the morphological characters and illustrations of the species are provided.
