일부 치위생과 학생의 수업방법선택에 따른 성취목표성향과 학업성취도의 관계 (The Relationship between Achievement Goal Orientation and Academic Achievement according to some Dental Hygiene Student's Choice of Teaching Method)

  • 코로나-19의 유행으로 비대면수업의 비중이 늘어나는 특수교육환경 속에서 대상자의 학업성취도를 높이기 위한 방안을 마련하고자 일부 치위생과 학생들을 대상으로 일반적 특성을 파악하고 수업방법선택에 따른 성취목표성향과 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 확인하는 연구를 실시하였다. 2020년 2학기 광주광역시 소재의 G대학 치위생과 학생 122명을 대상으로 일반적 특성, 성취목표성향은 설문조사를 실시했고 학업성취도는 중간시험과 기말시험 점수를 사용했으며 수집된 자료는 Kruskal-Wallis test와 Mann-Whitney U test, Pearson's correlation test, Multiple Linear Regrission으로 분석하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 완숙목표성향은 교과목이해도, 교과목흥미도, 학과만족도에 유의한 차이를 보였고(p<0.01) 학과만족도는 완숙목표성향에 강한 상관관계를 나타냈다(p<0.01). 수업선택에 따라 학업성취도는 유의한 차이를 보였고(p<0.01), 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 요인은 수업방법을 대면으로 선택한 경우였다(p<0.05). 따라서 학습자의 학업성취도를 향상하기 위해 대면수업의 비중을 늘리고 수업에 대하여 완숙목표성향을 지향할 수 있도록 교과목이해도, 교과목흥미도, 학과만족도를 높일 수 있는 효율적인 수업계획을 세우는 것이 필요할 것이다.

  • This study is focused on analyzing effects of Self-regulated learning on Academic self-regulation, Science achievement and Science Related Affective Domains. The subjects of this study were sampled from fifth grades of a elementary school in Seoul, 61 students. One class (31 students) out of selected two classes was applied to Self regulated learning Teaching Model, the other (30 students) took conventional methods of teaching. The experiment proceeded for 21 weeks, 51 times of classes. According to the results of this study, Self-regulated learning improved the children's Academic self regulation ability. Self-regulated learning improved the children's science achievement. Self-regulated learning improved the children's Science Related Affective Domains. Furthermore, six distinct dimensions of Academic self-regulation have correlation with scientific attitudes, interests of Science Related Affective Domains.

간호대학생의 간호학 학습성과 성취도와 중요도 인식 (The Recognition of Achievement and Importance of Nursing Program Outcome among Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition of achievement and importance of nursing program outcome among nursing students. Methods: The survey was performed with 439 nursing student and recruited from 3-year or 4-year nursing students, scheduled to graduate from university. The data was collected by questionnaires and was analyzed with SPSS statistics 19.0. Results: The achievement of nursing program outcome was 3.28. and the important of that was 4.38. The achievement of nursing program outcome on critical thinking and communication of 4-year nursing students were higher than 3-year nursing students. Achievement of program outcome were significantly different according to satisfaction of curriculum, club activity and voluntary activity. Conclusion: These findings indicate that outcome-based nursing curriculum is need to consider the importance and achievement level of program outcome for nursing students.

지적능력신념 영향 변인 탐색 - 학업관련태도, 성취목표, 가정의 심리적 환경을 중심으로- (An Examination of Variables Influencing Beliefs about Intellectual Ability)

  • This research exercise was undertaken in order to examine whether academic achievement, academic attitudes, achievement goals, and family process had an influence on beliefs about intellectual ability. The subjects were 434 junior-high school students in Seoul and Incheon. The results of this study indicated that 162 students with incremental beliefs had higher scores in all five sub-factors of academic attitudes, two sub-factors in their achievement goals (namely their mastery goals and approach performance goals), and four sub-factors of family process (closeness, monitoring, communication, and approval) than 155 students with entity beliefs. The results of the binary logistic regression analysis revealed that academic self-perceptions, attitudes towards teachers, goal values, approach performance goals, closeness, and communication factors significantly affected beliefs about intellectual ability.

시뮬레이션 실습이 접목된 문제중심학습에 대한 간호학생의 PBL 학습요소별 인식과 학업성취도 (Learning Element Recognition and Academic Achievement of Nursing Student Receiving PBL with Simulation Education)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze how a nursing student recognizes PBL with simulation education and its relationship to academic achievement. Methods: The study objects were the students in C college who learn through PBL using simulator for 15 weeks(September 2007 to December 2007). Learning element recognition was developed by Cho(2002) and three key evaluations(performance, self-evaluation, and colleague evaluation) were designed by professors. Results: Learning element recognition ranged from 2.37 to 4.83 with the average at 3.94. For Learning element recognition, students who preferred discussion score 4.15. This was statistically more significant than those who do not. Students who preferred presentations show significantly higher score in colleague evaluation. For Learning element recognition and academic achievement, self-evaluation and colleague evaluation showed relationship to PBL learning element. Conclusion: There was definitely a relationship with PBL learning element and academic achievement after learning the PBL with simulation education.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of science journal writing on science-related attitude and science academic achievement of elementary school students in order to find out the value of science journal writing. For this purpose, one class of 6th graders was tested. The result of this study were as follows: First, Science journal are classfied by forms and content. The most frequently used types are prose and organizing concept. Second, Science journal writing brought positive effects on science - related attitude, especially cognition of science. Third, Science journal writing has positive effect on science academic achievement. Therefore Science Journal Writing can be useful method in Science education.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of scaffolding instruction on motivated learning strategies and academic achievement. Subjects of this study were 96 middle school first grade students in Busan, who were randomly assigned to two experimental group and one control group. The one experimental group had received scaffolding instruction by teacher, and the other experimental group had received scaffolding instruction by the interaction of peers. Control group were given traditional lessons only by the method of lecture. Students were given English Academic Achievement Test, Motivated Strategies of Learning Questionnaire. T test and ANOVA were used to analyze date. The results of this study showed that scaffolding instruction by ZPD turned out to have a positive influence on motivated learning strategies and academic achievement.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 'strata-fossils' STEAM program with questions on the academic achievement, creative problem-solving ability and scientific interests of elementary students. For this purpose, the STEAM program with questions was developed and applied to the third and fourth graders in elementary school. As a result, the academic achievement, creative problem-solving ability and scientific interests of the group applying the program showed a significant improvement in the post-test than the pre-test. The result of learner satisfaction survey of the STEAM program was also high. This means that the STEAM program class with questions for 'strata-fossils' could be meaningful works to encourage students' academic achievement as well as their creative problem-solving ability and scientific interests. Therefore, it seems necessary to apply for other themes in elementary science continuously.

The Importance of Time Management in Self-Regulated Learning: Focusing on University Online Courses

  • 본 연구는 첫째, '온라인 수업에 만족한 대학생은 더 높은 학업성취도를 보이는가?' 둘째, '만족도와 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 주요한 자기조절학습전략 요인은 무엇인가?'를 파악하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 온라인 수업 수강생 대상 설문조사를 통하여 총 95부의 설문지를 수집한 후, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 데이터를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 대학 온라인 수업에서 만족도는 학업성취도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 만족도와 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다른 것으로 밝혀졌다. 시간관리는 만족도와 학업성취도에 모두 영향을 주는 주요한 요인으로 분석된 반면, 상호작용은 만족도에만 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 대학 온라인 수업에서 효율적인 교수법인 자기조절학습으로 효과를 얻기 위하여 우선 순위를 정하고 지원하는 실질적인 정책을 개발하는데 기초자료로 사용할 수 있다.

  • This study aimed to investigate the effects of science classes applying round robin strategy on scientific communicative competence, science learning motivation and academic achievement of elementary students. The number of participants were 126, 4 classes of 6th grade in C elementary school in B city. The experimental group, 2 classes including 63 participants, had science classes applying round robin strategy. While the comparative group, 2 classes including 63 participants, took ordinary teacher-driven lessons using teacher's guidebook. Pre and post tests were done before and after intervention to assess the changing in each group's scientific communicative competence, science learning motivation, and academic achievement. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: The science class applying round robin strategy showed significant effect on improving scientific communicative competence and science learning motivation and academic achievement of elementary students.
