텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용한 중학교 가정과 교육과정 분석 (Analysis of Home Economics Curriculum Using Text Mining Techniques)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 1차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지의 가정과 교육과정을 시기별로, 통시적으로 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 빅데이터 분석에서 사용되는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 이용하여 교육과정을 분석하였다. 분석대상은 국가교육과정정보센터에서 수집한 1차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지의 10개의 교육과정 원문이며, 분석도구는 R 프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 4차 교육과정부터 2015 개정 교육과정까지 데이터 수가 점차적으로 늘어나는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육과정 시기별 핵심 개념을 추출하여 비교한 결과 교육과정에 따라 유지 및 변화되는 핵심 개념이 있었다. '생활', '가정'은 교육과정 변화에 상관없이 지속되는 핵심 개념이었으며, 2007 개정 교육과정 이후로는 '문제', '능력', '해결', '실천'이 강조되었다. 셋째, 핵심 개념 연결망 분석 결과를 통해 각 가정과 교육과정 마다 핵심 개념 간의 관계를 점(node)과 선(line)으로 표현하였다. 그 결과 '생활'과 '가정'을 중심으로 시대별로 강조한 핵심 개념이 강하게 연결됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해, 향후 가정과 교육의 방향성과 정체성을 형성하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다는 측면에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다.

2015 문·이과 통합형 교육과정 개정에 관한 전문가 인식 연구 (An Analysis of Professional Recognition on 2015 Curriculum Revision)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the recognition of the curriculum experts on 2015 integrated liberal arts and natural sciences curriculum revision. Research method is a delphi survey and the subjects are curriculum experts. The research results are as follows. Firstly, experts suggested common education for all students and students' opportunities to choose subjects. Secondly, the direction of curriculum revision was different by school level. The elementary school needs to foster convergence thinking. The middle school needs to educate common basic literacy education and the high school needs both the common education and the free choice of subjects by students. Thirdly, the separation of the liberal arts and natural sciences was caused by the separate thinking of custom, tradition and study and the separate exam application on liberal arts and natural science of college scholastic ability test. The solution about separation problem of liberal arts and natural sciences have been proposed to improve mathematics education and teachers' convergence education competency. Lastly, for the establishment of an 2015, integrated curriculum the reduction of the CSAT test area and the introduction of qualifying examination for English were required.

초등 과학과 교육과정과 교사용지도서 목표 간의 비교 분석 - 2009 개정 교육과정 3~4학년을 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Alignment between Elementary Science Curriculum and Teacher Guidebook - Examining Learning Objectives in 2009 Grade 3~4 Science Curriculum -)

  • Teacher guidebooks are practical and commonly used resources for teachers to deliver the goals and contents of science curriculum in classroom teaching. Thus, the alignment of teacher guidebooks and science curriculum could be critical to undertake the effectiveness of curriculum implication in science classrooms. This study is to investigate how the learning objectives of science curriculum are implicated in teacher guidebooks by analyzing the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive process in learning objectives in both documents. Grade 3~4 learning objectives (82 objectives in the curriculum, 459 in the teacher guidebook, 541 in total) in 2009 Revised science curriculum and teacher guidebooks were coded and analyzed based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The analysis focused on how the knowledge dimensions and cognitive processes of the curriculum were emphasized and restructured in the teacher guidebooks to examine the coalition between the two important documents. The study found: 1) the learning objectives in Grade 3~4 in both documents were skewed to certain knowledge dimension (conceptual) and cognitive process (understand); 2) there was a high coalition between unit objectives and lesson objectives in the teacher guidebooks, however, relatively low coalition between the curriculum and the teacher guidebooks; and 3) learning objectives in the curriculum were delivered in teacher guidebooks in various patterns (similar, detailed, additional, in portion, and the same), and 'detailed' and 'additional' were frequently shown. There also appeared new objectives in the teacher guidebooks, which were not present in the curriculum. The findings in this study could provide some suggestions to the current project of developing 2015 Science Curriculum in regard to understanding the dimensions of knowledge and cognitive process of learning objectives and their alignments with textbooks and teacher guidebooks.

수학 교육과정 국제 비교 분석 연구 - 미국, 싱가포르, 영국, 일본, 호주의 중학교와 고등학교 교육과정을 중심으로 - (A Comparative Study of Mathematics Curriculum among the United States, Singapore, England, Japan, Australia and Korea)

  • 본 연구는 최근 개정된 교육과정과 관련하여 우리나라와 미국, 싱가포르, 영국, 일본, 호주의 중학교와 고등학교 교육과정을 비교 분석함으로써 앞으로의 수학 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초를 제공하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 미국, 싱가포르, 영국, 일본, 호주의 학교체계와 교육과정, 대학입학시험의 특징과 중학교와 고등학교 내용 체계의 특징을 간단히 살펴보고, 우리나라와 외국 교육과정의 성취기준과 교과서 및 대학입학을 위한 평가요목을 중심으로 중학교와 고등학교의 수학 내용 요소, 이수 계열, 나선형 구성 방식 여부를 비교 분석하였다. 이런 비교 분석 결과를 바탕으로 이후의 우리나라 교육과정 개발을 위한 시사점으로 해석, 기하, 통계와 확률 영역에서의 내용 요소에 대한 재고. 나선형 구성 방식에 대한 재고, 개인의 진로에 대한 다양한 선택권과 평가에의 반영을 제안하였다.

전남대학교 의과대학 의예과 교육과정 개발과 편성사례 (Premedical Curriculum at Chonnam National University Medical School)

  • The educational goal of premedical education is to provide the desired college-level training in liberal arts as well as sciences, and to equip students with a basis for future medical studies. The purpose of this study was to introduce a premedical curriculum at Chonnam National University Medical School and to provide baseline data for developing an improved premedical curriculum. The reformed premedical curriculum has been followed since 2017. Formal premedical curriculum consists of basic education and character education through liberal arts study and major courses related to medical education. In addition to the formal premedical curriculum, students are supported through various programs that help develop interpersonal and intrapersonal competences.

기초치위생 교과목 통합교육과정 개발 (Development of integrated basic dental hygiene curriculum)

  • The purpose of the study is to develop the integrated basic dental hygiene curriculum after reviewing and analyzing the traditional curriculum. First, the standardization of curriculum in three years and four years dental hygiene department curriculum is needed. Second, integration between subjects should include learning objectives of the curriculum. Third, the basic subjects of dental hygiene should provide and satisfy the learning goals of dental biochemistry, nutrition, dentistry and dental pharmacology, and the basic subjects should be integrated into clinical considerations. Fourth, the integration of the curriculum should make the students dental hygiene experts by nurturing and integration of basic sciences. The integration of curriculum is able to provide the unified subject that does not same and duplicated contents.

건강증진 중심의 학부 교과과정에 관한 평가연구 (Study for Curriculum Evaluation of the College of Nursing, Seoul National University: Focusing on the Health Promotion)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the revised curriculum of the college of nursing, Seoul National University. This curriculum was consisted of three conceptual framework: health promotion, illness care and professional development. Especially it is intended to enhance the ability in solving health problem by focusing on the topic of health promotion. Further, the curriculum is strengthening on the professional development through encouraging scholarly inquiry of students. The result of survey was as follows: 1) Is the curriculum focusing on the health promotion generally? - 81.2% of graduates answered positively. 2) Is the curriculum reflecting on the six aims of the education for the college if nursing? - 64.6% of graduates answered positively. 3) Is the curriculum reflecting on the concept of health promotion properly? - 72.8% of faculty answered positively. 4) Did the curriculum achieve the six aims of college of nursing effectively? - 82.6% of faculty answered positively. 5) Was the lecture of each subject in the new curriculum given with focus on the concept of health promotion? - 60.9 % answered affirmatively 6) Did the optional subjects achieve the goal of professional development effectively? - 83% of faculty answered affirmatively.

  • 본 연구는 2009 개정 수학과 교육과정과 CCSSM의 초등학교 수학과 교육과정의 비교 분석을 통하여 한국과 미국의 교육과정에 대한 공통점과 차이점을 알아보고, 우리나라 초등 수학과 교육과정의 개발 방향에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국의 2009 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정과 미국의 CCSSM에서 각각의 내용 영역명과 해당 영역의 학년 분포 및 내용 체계, 내용 규준으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 이 분석을 기반으로 첫째, CCSSM 내용 영역명에 따른 2009 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정의 해당 내용을 분류하여 학년군별로 취합하였고, 둘째, 한국과 미국의 교육과정 내용을 주제별로 분류하여 비교하였으며, 셋째, 이 과정에서 한국과 미국의 초등 수학교육의 특징을 살펴보았다.

의과대학의 잠재적 교육과정과 학생문화 (The Hidden Curriculum and Student Culture in Medical School)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the concept and importance of the hidden curriculum, which has an influence on the learning, culture, and identity formation of medical students, and to examine the student culture related to the hidden curriculum. The hidden curriculum can be defined from various perspectives. However, these definitions commonly include the concept of the whole experience students gain from school life in implicit ways, even though the school does not intend it. The hidden curriculum is related to non-cognitive areas and the culture formation of students in various way, including positive and negative content, and is important since once this curriculum is formed, it has a long-term impact. Therefore, it is necessary to consider not only the formal curriculum but also the hidden curriculum in order to apprehend the overall educational outcome of medical school. For this purpose, schools need to not only support studies on the hidden curriculum but also to endeavor to provide faculty and staff with educational and administrative support so that they can understand the hidden curriculum and be equipped as a role model. Furthermore, medical students need to endeavor to form a positive student culture in order to establish an appropriate identity as a doctor in the future.

사상체질의학 역량중심의 임상실기 내용 개발을 위한 제언 (Recommendation for Development of Clinical Skill Contents in the Competency-Based Sasang Constitutional Medicine Education)

  • An outcome-based curriculum or competency-based curriculum is regarded to be one of the mainstream curricula to make students centered. It is believed to be able to support a flexible, time-independent curriculum. However, it is not easy for the curriculum developers to convert from the traditional curriculum to an competency-based curriculum. Traditional medicines including Sasang constitutional medicine(SCM) have been on the verge of transforming their curricula. Considering the contents of the clinical skills in terms of an outcome-based curriculum in SCM, at least five categories needs to be covered. First, curriculum developers need to consider the understanding of relevant diseases concerning SCM although SCM could be used as the method to treat all kinds of diseases. Second, curriculum developers facilitate the students to diagnose patients' SCM types. Third, curriculum developers conduct the establishment of competencies to understand the patterns of SCM symptomology. Fourth, curriculum developers develop the diverse treatment methods and procedures to make students participate. Fifth, curriculum developers make students teach and consult their patients in terms of SCM regimen. Development of the clinical skill contents in detail depends on the situation of each colleges. Competency-based medical curriculum in SCM could influence on the management of the curriculum quality.
