차량 횡방향 안정성 향상을 위한 통합섀시 제어 (Unified Chassis Control for Improvement of Vehicle Lateral Stability)

  • This paper presents unified chassis control (UCC) to improve the vehicle lateral stability. The unified chassis control implies combined control of active front steering (AFS), electronic stability control (ESC) and continuous damping control (CDC). A direct yaw moment controller based on a 2-D bicycle model is designed by using sliding mode control law. A direct roll moment controller based on a 2-D roll model is designed. The computed direct yaw moment and the direct roll moment are generated by AFS, ESP and CDC control modules respectively. A control authority of the AFS and the ESC is determined by tire slip angle. Computer simulation is conducted to evaluate the proposed integrated chassis controller by using the Matlab, simulink and the validated vehicle simulator. From the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed unified chassis control can provide with improved performance over the modular chassis control.

  • 본 논문에서는 국가기준점 자료를 활용한 고해상도 위성영상의 정밀센서모델 수립 가능성에 대하여 분석하였다. 이를 위해 국토지리정보원에서 운영하는 국토정보맵(http://map.ngii.go.kr/ms/map/NlipMap.do)으로부터 통합기준점 조서와 항공정사영상 자료를 이용하여 위성영상에서 통합기준점에 해당하는 영상좌표를 취득한 뒤, 이를 정밀센서모델 수립을 위한 관측자료로 활용하였다. 통합기준점 자료의 활용 가능성 분석을 위해 본 논문에서는 GNSS 측량을 통해 획득한 기준점을 활용한 정밀센서모델링 결과와 통합기준점만을 활용한 정밀센서모델링 결과를 비교하였다. 실험 결과 통합기준점만을 활용하였을 때 약 2 m의 3차원 위치결정이 가능함을 확인하였다.

비선형 예측제어 알고리즘을 이용한 회분식 중합 반응기의 온도제어 (Temperature control of a batch polymerization reactor using nonlinear predictive control algorithm)

  • Nonlinear unified predictive control(UPC) algorithm was applied to the temperature control of a batch polymerization reactor for polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA). Before the polymerization reaction is initiated, the parameters of the process model are determined by the recursive least squares(RLS) method. During the reaction, nonlinearities due to generation of heat of reaction and variation of heat transfer coefficients are predicted through the nonlinear model developed. These nonlinearities are added to the process output from the linear process model. And then, the predicted process output is used to calculate the control output sequence. The performance of nonlinear control algorithm was verified by simulation and compared with that of the linear unified predictive control algorithm. In the experiment of a batch PMMA polymerization, nonlinear unified predictive control was implemented to regulate the temperature of the reactor, and the validity of the nonlinear model was verified through the experimental results. The performance of the nonlinear controller turned out to be superior to that of the linear controller for tracking abrupt changes in setpoint.

500 V급 Unified Trench Gate Power MOSFET 공정 및 제작에 관한 연구 (The Process and Fabrication of 500 V Unified Trench Gate Power MOSFET)

  • Power MOSFET operate voltage-driven devices, design to control the large power switching device for power supply, converter, motor control, etc. We have analyzed trench process, field limit ring process for fabrication of unified trench gate power MOSFET. And we have analyzed electrical characteristics of fabricated unified trench gate power MOSFET. The optimal trench process was based on SF6. After we carried out SEM measurement, we obtained superior trench gate and field limit ring process. And we compared electrical characteristics of planar and trench gate unified power MOSFET after completing device fabrication. As a result, the both of them was obtained 500 V breakdown voltage. However trench gate unified power MOSFET was shown improved Vth and on state voltage drop characteristics than planar gate unified power MOSFET.

VHDL을 이용한 향상된 기능을 가지는 모터 제어용 주변장치의 통합 설계 (Design of the Unified Peripheral Device with Advanced Functions for Motor Control using VHDL)

  • For the convenient use of high performance microprocessor in motor control, peripheral devices are needed for converting its control signals to compatible ones for motor drive. Customized devices are not plentiful far these purposes and their functions do not usually satisfied designers specification. The designers used to implement these functions on FPGA or CPLD using hardware description language. Then, in this case unessential programs are needed for control the peripherals. In this paper, a unified device model that links peripheral devices, including especially the pulse width modulation controller and the quadrature encoder interface device, to an interrupt controller is proposed. Advanced functions of peripherals could be achieved by this model and unessential programs can be simplified. Block diagrams and flowcharts are presented to illustrate the advanced functions. This unified device was designed using VHDL. The simulation results were presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

  • In this paper we proposed the remote control system for the door lock by the unified modem with the wireless and the power line modem. We developed the management system program between the door-lock system and the proposed unified modem. The infrared communication system was used between the Door-Lock system and the power line modem. With the unified developed modem and the Door-Lock system, it is possible to control remotely the developed system in the internet service area.

  • Recently, the application of the linear machine far industrial field is remarkable increased, especially for the gantry machine, machine tool system and CNC. In these application fields, high dynamics position control performance Is essentially required in both the steady and the transient state. This pacer presents simple but powerful position control loop based on traditional PID controller. The presented position control algorithm, named 'Unified PID Position Controller'has great features for the linear machine drives such as no over-shoot phenomena and simple gain tuning strategy. Through the experimental results with commercial linear motors, it is shown that the proposed algorithm has excellent dynamics suitable fur linear motions.

Unified Approach for Force/Position Control in the Vehicle Body Sanding Process

  • This study presents a methodology for simulating a unified approach that controls interaction force between tool and objective by using a synthesis method of robot interacting control law for stabilizing the transient process of motion. Root locus is used to analyze stabilization of motion deviation characteristics. Based on responses of motion deviation, contact force is derived to satisfy exponential stability and we generate control input with respect to motion trajectories and interaction force. Moreover, simulation is applied to experimental application of a Cartesian robot driven by two stepper motors, and the noise of feedback signals is considered as presence of system inaccuracies, and the unified approach of interaction force control is examined precisely.

  • This paper describes a Unified Chassis Control (UCC) strategy to prevent vehicle rollover by integrating individual modular chassis control systems such as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Continuous Damping Control (CDC). The UCC threshold is determined from a rollover index computed by estimated roll angle, roll rate and measured lateral acceleration. A direct yaw moment control method is used to design the ESC based on a 2-D bicycle model. Similarly, the CDC is designed based on a 2-D roll model using a direct roll moment control method. The performance of the proposed UCC scheme is investigated and compared to that of modular chassis controllers through computer simulations using a validated vehicle simulator. It is shown that the proposed the UCC can lead to improvements in vehicle stability and efficient actuation of chassis control systems.

H^$\infty$ Controller Design Based on NLCF Models: A Unified Approach for Continuous and Discrete Systems

  • In this paper, a unified approach to the H\ulcorner controller design is proposed under the $\delta$-form for both continuous and discrete systems. Most of important basic concepts of H\ulcorner control, such as inner, co-inner, GCARE and GFARE, are reformulated by the unified form. The NLCF(Normalized left Comprime Factor) plant description has been reviewed in the $\delta$-form, and some corresponding results are proposed. And the unified H\ulcorner controller is designed which is based on the McFarlane and Glover{1]. The state-space parameterization for all suboptimal controllers is given under the NLCF model which may not be strictly proper, and the central controller is derived by using the solution to Hankel norm approximation problem[2]. The unified controller is applied to the industrial boiler control problem to exemplify the performance of the controller.
