This study investigated the nitrate formation process, and mass closure of Particulate Matter (PM) were calculated over the urbanized area of Jeju Island. The data for eight water-soluble inorganic ions and nineteen elements in PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ were used. The results show that the nitrate concentration increased as excess ammonium increased in ammonium-rich samples. Furthermore, nitrate formation was not as important in ammonium-poor samples as it was in previous studies. According to the sum of the measured species, approximately 45~53% of gravimetric mass of PM remained unidentified. To calculate the mass closure for both PM_2.5 and PM₁₀, PM chemical components were categorized into secondary inorganic aerosol, crustal matter, sea salt, trace matter and unidentified matter. The results by the mass reconstruction of PM components show that the portion of unidentified matter was decreased from 52.7% to 44.0% in PM_2.5 and from 45.1% to 29.1% in PM₁₀, despite the exclusion of organic matter and elemental carbon.

좌측 대퇴 절단부에서의 통증을 주소로 하고 다양한 증상을 강하제 호소하던 환자에서 통증의 원인 검색 중 신경종을 발견하여 그것을 적출한 후에 절단부의 통증 뿐아니라 미증호소도 함께 경감된 증례를 경험했다. 이러한 미증호소는 지속되는 통증 및 정확하지 않은 치료방법에 의해 증가 할 수도 있다고 생각된다. 본 증례에서와 같은 경우 정신적 배려를 충분히 해가면서 통증의 원인 검색 및 치료를 하는 것이 합리적일 것으로 사료된다.

A new ergosteryl myristate (1) and ergosterol (2) have been isolated from the organic extract of the mycelium of unidentified marine algicolous fungus, isolate MF001. The structure of a new compound was assigned on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analyses and chemical synthesis.

Thirty-nine strains of Leuconostocs found to be tolerant to $10\%$ or more garlic were selected for further identification, by comparing their whole-cell protein pattern, 16S rRNA gene (first 530 bases) sequence, cellular fatty acid composition, and carbon source metabolism. Two isolates were Identified as Leuconostoc mesenteroides and 32 others as Leuconostoc citreum. Five other strains belonging to a cluster could not be allocated to the existing species. 16S rRNA gene sequence and cellular fatty acid composition of the unidentified bacteria exhibited close similarity with Leuconostoc argentinum. The unidentified isolates were not allocated to L. argentinum, because they formed polysaccharide from sucrose, while L. argentinum strains do not. Leuconostocs tolerant to high concentration of garlic were found predominantly on garlic surface, an extreme environment which is unfit for most of other microorganisms.

Generally, reverse engineering means getting CAD data from unidentified shape using vision or 3D laser scanner system. In this paper, we studied unidentified model by machine vision based reverse engineering system to get information about in-processing model. Recently, vision technology is widely used in current factories, because it could inspect the in-process object easily, quickly, accurately. The following tasks were mainly investigated and implemented. We obtained more precise data by corning camera's distortion, compensating slit-beam error and revising acquired image. Much more, we made similar curves or surface with B-spline approximation for precision. Until now, there have been many case study of shape recognition. But it was uncompatible to apply to the field, because it had taken too many processing time and has frequent recognition failure. This paper propose recognition algorithm that prevent such errors and give applications to the field.

The Stagnation Syndrome of Qi is the depressed and suppressed mental state caused by anxiety, unaccomplished desire, maintained thought, and emotional problems, resulting in a concomitant physiological somatic dysfunction. Although blood test, urine test, EKG, and gastric endoscopy showed normal finding. a patient complained of a group of symptoms, so we considered it as an unidentified clinical syndrome. This syndrome could be interpreted as the disconnection of Fire (Heart) and Water (Kidney) in Oriental medicine, and treated with the therapeutic method of 'Ascending Water-Descending Fire'. After the application of Gyogam-dan and Ganggi-tang for 18 days, symptoms and signs improved.

Objectives : The purpose of this research is to identify the actual origin species imported as Aquilaria malaccensis from Indonesia. Methods : After producing the permanent preparat by cutting off the specimen thinly, we observed its characteristics. Results : The imported ones have not interxylary parenchyma, so none is in the genus aquilaria. Since the aliform parenchyma is mostly observed around the vessel pore, they are in the genus gonystylus, and the rest have no aliform parenchyma, so their specimen is unidentified. Conclusion : The imported as A. malaccensis are not in the genus aquilaria, but most of them are in the genus gonystylus and, for the rest, the specimen is unidentified.

The yeast population on 14 species of seaweeds and in water estimated by cultural mothods over a 5-month period in south-west in Korea, Nine species of yeasts, comprising unidentified one, and one of yeast-like fungi were identified. Fifty phycase were attributed to the difference of cultural method between the present work and earlier repoeters and, to some exent, the higher number of Rhodotorula glutinis which had a prior adaptation to the release of inhibitory polyphenolic materials. Although, to what extent, all division of algae showed a similar variation in yeast population, correlated with month, the rapid decrease of yeast population in August seems to be the cause of exposure of heat irradiation in this month. The cultural estimate of per se fltration without double filter and one of unidentified species are discussed.
