The purpose of this study was to classify self-efficacy typology and analyze the relationship between self-efficacy and consumption value of college students as consumers. Data were gathered by surveying college students living in Daegu and Kyungbook area using convenient sampling. 513 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Data were analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, cluster analysis, correlation analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan-test. The findings are as follows. The self-efficacy typologies of college students were classified into three groups such as challenging confident accomplish oriented, stable uncertain accomplish oriented, and stable accomplish oriented. In the relationship of the self-efficacy was related to the sub-variables of consumption value. The self-efficacy oriented group showed different all the sub-variables of consumption value factors.

In this paper, we design a robust multi-objective track-following controller that satisfies transient response specifications and diminishes the influence of sinusoidal disturbance. To this end, a robust control problem with the multiple constraints is considered. We show that a sufficient condition satisfying the robust control problem can be expressed by linear matrix inequalities. Finally, the robust track-following controller can be designed by solving an LMI optimization problem. The effectiveness of the proposed controller design method is verified though experiments.
In this paper, an adaptive passivity based excitation and governor control scheme is proposed to enhance the transient stability of a single machine infinite bus power system with parametric uncertainties. We employ a state model where the frequency, the difference between active and mechanical power, and the difference between the squared terminal voltage and its reference are regarded as state variables. Using this state model, the proposed controller is obtained in two steps; firstly, a simple direct adaptive passivation controller is designed for the power system with parametric uncertainties; then a linear PI controller is applied to guarantee the stability of the closed loop system.
Recently, the seriousness of high blood pressure was appeared as the most frequent disease of a the whole sickness in the world. However, the treatment of this disease is uncertain and produces an adverse reaction of a medicine therapy. Also, the patients are burdened with a fee for medical treatment. Therefore, in this paper, we studied effectively and financially to execute the treatment of high blood pressure using the Chinese medicine theorem that is recently arousing the great interest of the people. The main theories in this paper are blood vessel theory and acupuncture, respectively. Especially, the composed circuit systems are classified the blood pressure depressor part and the meridian points discrimination part, respectively. The blood pressure depressor part is composed generally of low-frequency generation circuit, charging-discharging circuit, and micro-computer circuit. Finally, this research have the advantage of discrimination parts such as regular voltage generating circuit, stimulus circuit, amplifying circuit, and alarm circuit.
The implementation of a robust $H_{\infty}$ Control, which is numerically efficient for uncertain nonlinear dynamics, on longitudinal and lateral autopilots is realised for a quarter scale Piper J3-Cub model accepted as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) under the condition of sensor noise and disturbance effects. The stability and control coefficients of the UAV are evaluated through XFLR5 software, which utilises a vortex lattice method at a predefined flight condition. After that, the longitudinal trim point is computed, and the linearization process is performed at this trim point. The "${\mu}$-Synthesis"-based robust $H_{\infty}$ control algorithm for roll, pitch and yaw displacement autopilots are developed for both longitudinal and lateral linearised nonlinear dynamics. Controller performances, closed-loop frequency responses, nominal and perturbed system responses are obtained under the conditions of disturbance and sensor noise. The simulation results indicate that the proposed control scheme achieves robust performance and guarantees stability under exogenous disturbance and measurement noise effects and model uncertainty.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a frequently diagnosed gastrointestinal (GI) disorder characterized by recurrent abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in the stool form or frequency without any structural changes and overt inflammation. It is not a life-threatening condition but causes a considerable level of discomfort and distress. Among the many pathophysiologic factors, such as altered GI motility, visceral hypersensitivity, and low-grade mucosal inflammation, as well as other immunologic, psychologic, and genetic factors, gut microbiota imbalance (dysbiosis), which is frequently found in IBS, has been highlighted as an etiology of IBS. Dysbiosis may affect gut mucosal homeostasis, immune function, metabolic regulation, and even visceral motor function. As diet is shown to play a fundamental role in the gut microbiota profile, this review discusses the influence of diet on IBS occurring through the modulation of gut microbiota. Based on previous studies, it appears that dietary modulation of the gut microbiota may be effective for the alleviation of IBS symptoms and, also an effective IBS management strategy based on the underlying mechanism; especially because, IBS currently has no specific treatment owing to its uncertain etiology.
Regarding the importance of seismic pounding, the available standards and guidelines specify minimum separation distance between adjacent buildings. However, the rules in this field are generally based on some simple assumptions, and the level of confidence is uncertain. This is attributed to the fact that the relative response of adjacent structures is strongly dependent on the frequency content of the applied records and the Eigen frequencies of the adjacent structures as well. Therefore, this research aims at investigating the separation distance of the buildings through a probabilistic-based algorithm. In order to empower the algorithm, the record-to-record uncertainties, are considered by probabilistic approaches; besides, a wide extent of material nonlinear behaviors can be introduced into the structural model by the implementation of the hysteresis Bouc-Wen model. The algorithm is then simplified by the application of the linearization concept and using the response acceleration spectrum. By implementing the proposed algorithm, the separation distance in a specific probability level can be evaluated without the essential need of performing time-consuming dynamic analyses. Accuracy of the proposed method is evaluated using nonlinear dynamic analyses of adjacent structures.

In the wake of categorizing the design changes occurred during the period from 2004 till the first half of 2006 in Choongcheong province area, based on purpose and reason of design changes identified by the Korea National Housing Corp, it included 11 types such as the image of the apartment complex, scenic elements, consideration by the user, prevention of the defect, constructability, site conditions, incompatibility between the activities, superordinate standard, prevention of civic complaints, design details and others, along with 47 subordinate elements. And the evaluation intended to identify the corelation between the number and time of design change approval, frequency and scale of design change by type and the cost variations indicated that; firstly, enhancing the image of the apartment complex proved to be the main reason for design changes, accounting for 22% in terms of frequency and 54.9% in terms of cost variation. Secondly, the higher the increase in cost by design change aimed at improving the image of the complex, the lower the decrease in cost by design change for uncertain reasons, dubbed the inverse proportional relations, indicating that the design changes for uncertain reasons were mostly aimed at reducing the construction cost. Thirdly, with regard to the number of design change approval and the time of the initial approval, twice or less and 90 days or less before completion of the construction work, respectively, accounted for $52{\sim}53%$, indicating the design change deliberation and approval tended to have been carried out collectively in the form of ex post facto approval, which seemed to be attributable to the attempt of reducing the construction cost or budget problem, as a result of comparing with the cases in which the cost was reduced.
In this paper, it is aimed to determine the finite element model updating effects on the structural behavior of long span concrete highway bridges. Birecik Highway Bridge located on the 81stkm of Sanliurfa-Gaziantep state highway over Firat River in Turkey is selected as a case study. The bridge consist of fourteen spans, each of span has a nearly 26m. The total bridge length is 380m and width of bridge is 10m. Firstly, the analytical dynamic characteristics such as natural frequencies and mode shapes are attained from finite element analyses using SAP2000 program. After, experimental dynamic characteristics are specified from field investigations using Operational Modal Analysis method. Enhanced Frequency Domain Decomposition method in the frequency domain is used to extract the dynamic characteristics such as natural frequencies, mode shapes and damping ratios. Analytically and experimentally identified dynamic characteristics are compared with each other and finite element model of the bridge is updated to reduce the differences by changing of some uncertain parameters such as section properties, damages, boundary conditions and material properties. At the end of the study, structural performance of the highway bridge is determined under dead load, live load, and dynamic loads before and after model updating to specify the updating effect. Displacements, internal forces and stresses are used as comparison parameters. From the study, it is seen that the ambient vibration measurements are enough to identify the most significant modes of long span highway bridges. Maximum differences between the natural frequencies are reduced averagely from %46.7 to %2.39 by model updating. A good harmony is found between mode shapes after finite element model updating. It is demonstrated that finite element model updating has an important effect on the structural performance of the arch type long span highway bridge. Maximum displacements, shear forces, bending moments and compressive stresses are reduced %28.6, %21.0, %19.22, and %33.3-20.0, respectively.
Most incidents and accidents involved human during operating NPPs have a tendency to be structured by complicated and various organizational, individual, and environmental factors. The salient feature of the human error in NPP was extremely low frequency, extremely high complicated and extremely serious damage of human life and property. Our research team defined as 'rare human errors'. To prevent the rare human errors, the most researchers and analysts insist invariably that the root causes be made clear. The making them clear, however, is difficult because their root causes are very various and uncertain. However, These tools have limits that they do not adapt all operating situations and circumstances such as design base events. The purpose of this study is to improve the rare human error hazards consider the situational contex. Through this challenging try based on evidences to the human errors could be useful to prevent rare and critical events can occur in the future.
