  • In this study, active and recently in the field of vocational rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in the industry engaged in the primary mission of assisting you want to promote activation of devices that can perform the work of the harvest cart or unattended devices such as tool boxes and tracking system developed. This system is manually moved from a remote user is able to control, and also, the ability to track users unattended mounted.   • Infrared thermography is one of the most valuable and cost-effective diagnostic techniques for predictive maintenance on electrical systems. For the electric installations, the thermographies can identify major problems, which if left unattended could lead to breakdowns. The result thermal images depend upon operator skills, inspection technique, and load and weather conditions. When the thermographer is applied to remote monitoring, the conditions of the systems are not perfectly analyzed because operators are hard to know the weather's effects of the installed place. Therefore, this paper defines the effects by weather conditions which will influence the final results. The purpose of this paper is to define the weather effects that a thermographer needs to consider for successful condition analysis.

Development of Unmanned Remote Radiation Detection Module (무인 원격 방사선 검출 모듈 개발)

  • The designed drone-based unmanned remote radiation detection module was developed according to the needs of the nuclear power plant decommissioning workshop. Using the Geiger-Mueller tube sensitive to low-level radiation measurement, It was manufactured to measure the amount of radiation leaking into and out of the containment vessel. The drone-based radiation detection module weighs less than 200g, It can be operated inside and outside the containment vessel of a nuclear power plant. To check the performance of the designed equipment, a performance evaluation test was conducted with reference to the international standard (IEC-60864). The stability of the radiation detection module designed to meet the needs of the field the statistical rate of change by repeated measurements in the rate of change experiment to evaluate the measurement accuracy was ±4.6%. The accuracy ±7.3% in the linearity experiment to evaluate the dose rate dependence, the linear The figure satisfies the international performance evaluation standard of ±3.5%. The radiation detection module developed in this study is a customized equipment for a nuclear power plant dismantling workshop. It will be helpful for accurate measurement of space dose rate and safety management of radiation worksites in sites with a lot of radiation dust.

  • Internet of things(IoT) services should be available to provide unattended operation in a remote area, long battery life, low-cost infrastructure, two-way communication platform. Urban transit in Busan is made up of the wire-based infrastructure except for voice infrastructure of transmit/receive and new data infrastructure is required for Internet of things(IoT) services. Urban transit environments in Busan were analyzed in order to apply LoRa Wireless Network(the standard communication way of IoT) and proposes a building after a Disaster Evacuation System.

  • In this paper, we present the development of communication and data processing strategy for the electromagnetic wave precipitation gauge system. The electromagnetic wave precipitation gauge system is a small system for deriving area rainfall rates within 1 km radius through dual polarization radar observation at 24GHz band. It is necessary to take consider for measurement of accurate precipitation under limited computing resources originating from small systems and to minimize the use of network for the unattended operation and remote management. To overcome computational resource limitations, we adopted the fuzzy logic for quality control to eliminate non-precipitation echoes and developed the method by weighted synthesis of various rain rate fields using multiple radar QPE formulas. Also we have designed variable data packets rules to minimize the network traffic.
