  • With the revision of the Data 3 Act, the financial MyData industry was created newly. MyData services collect the financial customers' data scattered in various financial companies and provide personalized services such as personal financial product recommendation, personal expenditure advice, etc. Although MyData service started in 2022, but the use of the service has not been significantly activated. This study attempted to analyze the factors affecting the use of MyData services from the perspective of financial consumers through VAM, UTAUT2 model. The factors related to the perceived value and intention to use MyData services of financial consumers were verified using benefit and sacrifice variables. Personal Innovativeness was used as a moderating variable. As a result of this study, it was found that personal product recommendation service has an important influence on the use of MyData services, and personal innovativeness has an effect as a modulating variable. It can be said that it is meaningful as a preceding study in terms of timing because it studied the perceived value of consumers less than a year after the MyData service began. From the practical perspectives, it was possible to show the change direction and marketing points of the MyData service. In practice, it was possible to confirm the direction of the service and the marketing point.

  • Blog is a new global phenomenon, but many research papers about organizational blog have not been shown. In this study the influencing factors of the organizational blog usage are empirically investigated, and several guidelines are suggested to IT professionals who involves the design and implementation of the organizational blog. The research model consists of seven independent variables, one dependent variable, and two moderating variables. The following variables are established as the independent variables; information, interface, service, communication, enjoy, performance expectation, and social influence. Two dimensions such as need and orientation are suggested for the moderating variables, and the actual usage is adopted as a dependent variable. As a result of multiple regression analysis using a stepwise method, the independent variables except for interface and communication affect the actual usage of organizational blogs. The moderating effects for need and orientation are partially supported. The implications of this study are as the followings; (1) The empirical factors affecting the usage of organizational blogs are empirically investigated, (2) The affecting factors vary according to the type of organizational blogs, and (3) Some guidelines are suggested for organizational blog's design.

  • As the dependence on information is increasing, the protection of personal information (PI) becomes a critical issue for the organizations, causing not only financial loss but also negative impacts on corporate images and reputations. To date, academic research in this area is scarce. This study analyzes the factors affecting the establishment and/or implementation of Personal Information Management System (PIMS) and provides direction for the practice. In this study, we assume that PIMS is one of the new technology adopted by organizations, and Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model is selected as a base model for the study. Using structural equation modeling technique, both measurement and structural models are validated, and hypotheses are tested. Major findings of the study include (1) the major driver of the organizations attempting to adopt PIMS seems to be the improvement of the business outcomes, (2) organizational capability and resource are important in the establishment of PIMS, and (3) the perceived difficulty of the establishment of PIMS is not affecting the intention to adopt PIMS. Since the importance of personal information security is high, establishment of PIMS is becoming one of the critical issues in the organizations. The establishment of PIMS should be encouraged to strengthen the competitiveness of businesses and to enhance the security level of the entire nation. It is expected that this study may contribute to developing plans and policies for establishment of PIMS in practice, and to providing a foundation for further research in this area.

  • The Korean government has been promoting the establishment of comprehensive information systems as one of supports for preschools' administration. This support is expected to enhance the efficiency of preschool education support systems and to improve the quality of educational services. The gap between government's expectation on an introduction of the information system and preschool educators' expectations has also been an issue in deploying this new system. This study identifies user resistance factors for comprehensive preschool administration assistance systems' deployment. We find that the performance expectancy, social influence, effort expectancy, and the psychological cost of user resistance have impacts on the user resistance. When these factors related resistance are resolved in the process of systems' deployment, active participation in these systems by preschool educators would be increased.
