무선인터넷으로 상호작용 하는 정보를 다양한 그래픽으로 가시화하면서 인터페이스를 통일화한 무선인터넷 단말기용 GUI (Graphic User Interface)가 사용자의 선택의 폭을 확장하고 감성만족도 향상에 크게 기여한다는 점에서 매우 고무적인 기술적 진전으로 받아들여지고 있다. 특히 최근 무선인터넷 단말기의 해상도와 색상이 높아지면서 사용상의 편의성과 시각효과를 강조한 GUI를 요구하고 있어 향후 이 분야의 연구가 크게 증가할 것으로 전망된다. 모바일 컴퓨팅의 인터페이스는 사용자들의 미감과 정보효율성에 중요한 영향을 미칠 것이다. 현재 국내 상황은 무선인터넷업체와 GUI 디자인업체가 핸드폰 PDA 스마트폰 등 무선인터넷 단말기를 통일된 사용방법으로 작동하면서 다양한 그래픽 화면을 처리할 수 있게 해주는 GUI개발에 전력하고 있다. 사례연구에서는 Nokia 3650 모델과 MS의 Orange SPV 모델이 제공된다. 이 두 모델의 사용성 비교평가를 통해 PDA와 Phone이 결합된 형식의 차세대 스마트폰 UI 개발에 벤치마킹하고자 한다. 2535세대의 취향에 맞는 유저빌리티 개발을 중심으로 WIPI WAP 메뉴를 구성 하고, WAP서비스 및 VM Browser, PDA Browser개발을 위한 연구 자료로 활용할 수 있으며 사용자의 디자인 선호도 분석을 통해 WAP 메뉴로의 접근성을 감성적으로 강화시키고자 함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서 제시하는 평가모형은 무선인터넷단말기를 개발하는 개발자, 디자이너, 기획자들에게 보다 효과적인 인터페이스 분석 자료를 제공하며, 스마트 폰 개발 시 고려해야 할 Check point 제시를 통해 WIPI 폰의 GUI Guideline으로의 활용을 기대한다.

Although research and technology developments have recently increased to save lighting energy within buildings, such research and technology development are judged to be unsuitable for energy savings since they are limited in the sense that the application of the technology is fragmented. This study proposes a user and location awareness technology applied to dimming lighting control system and verified the effectiveness of energy savings by building a test bed. The results were as follows : 1) This study suggested a user and location awareness technology applied to dimming lighting control system. 2) The system shows 96.6% and 82.8% energy saving rates, respectively, on the basis of one user, compared to an on/off lighting control and the user and location awareness technology applied to on/off lighting control system. 3) The energy consumption of the user and location awareness technology applied to on/off lighting control system and the user and location awareness technology applied to dimming lighting control system increased to 96.6%, 88.3%, and 59.6% and 82.8%, 85.0%, 51.5%, respectively, on the basis of one, two, and three users, compared to the on/off lighting control system. This study confirmed the energy saving performance of the user and location awareness technology applied to the dimming lighting control system through performance evaluation. In this regard, further study needs to be undertaken to evaluate the performance at night time.

The purposes of the study is to evaluate the discrepancy between user's expectation and satisfaction degree in the service of uTradeHub. In this regard, this study infers general solutions in order to induce the intersection area using IPA technique. Then this paper will present directions to improve the service of uTradeHub. In terms of methodology, this article disclosed that IPA model approach is greatly useful to evaluate user's attribute. First, variables like the link of different works(f1), trust of system(f4), information connection(f7) are located on the first quadrant. This means that importance and satisfaction are all high variables for user. So, this is very important variables that need continuous administration in order to maintain present state. Second, variables such as the speed of information acquisition(f2), improvement of use(f3), stability of system(f5) are located on the second quadrant. This means that user's importance is high but user's satisfaction is low. Therefore, this area needs an active improvement strategy and quick maintenance for e-Trade application. Third, variables like the appropriateness of information usage fees(f8), easy subscription(f9), customer support service(f10) are located on the third quadrant. Because these variables are all low for user's importance and satisfaction, we have to arrange strong and radical remedy for e-Trade service. Finally, variables like information offer(f6) are located on the fourth quadrant. This means that user's satisfaction is high but user's importance is low. The research result suggests that e-Trade service development would be re-organised as much as user feels the importance of process innovation.

최근 인터페이스의 중요성이 강조되면서 사용자에게 조작을 도울 수 있는 요소로서의 아이콘의 기능과 미적 요소로서의 조형적 기능이 강조되고 있다. 특히 기능적 측면에서 사용자의 이해 정도를 측정하기 위한 다양한 리서치 방법론들이 시도 되고 있으나, 그간의 통계적인 분석을 중심으로 하는 정량적 조사 방식의 사용자 평가 방법이 다수의 동의에 지나치게 의존하면서 한계에 부딪히게 되었다. 이런 한계를 극복하고자 사용자의 감성체계나 이해체계를 기반으로 미적 인상이나 개성 등의 감성을 측정하고, 아이콘을 디자인 하려는 방법론의 시도가 지속적으로 시도되고 있다. 이에 본 논문은 연상단어를 이용한 평가 방법론 제안하고 프린팅제품의 아이콘 디자인에 응용하여 적용함으로서 사용자 감성과 이해도를 측정하여 아이콘 디자인에 반영 하기위한 실증적 연구를 시도 하였다. 이 과정을 통해 사용자 감성과 이해도 평가를 기반으로 한 디자인 평가 방법에 대한 개괄을 알아보고, 프로젝트에 적용하여 효과적인 디자인 방법론을 논의 하고자 하였다. 이는 구체적인 사례를 통해 연구 방법론을 적용함으로서 교과서적인 논의에서 벗어나 실 적용측면에서의 논의를 진행 하고자 하는 목적으로 진행 되었다. 본 연구를 통해 아이콘 디자인 측면에서 사용자의 감성과 이해도를 객관화 하고 디자인에 적용할 수 있는 방법론을 제시하였으며, 이를 기반으로 아이콘 및 GUI 디자인을 진행 하는데 있어 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대 된다.

교통시설 건설사업을 기획하고 평가하는 단계에서 형평성 및 효율성에 많은 논란이 제기되고 있는 사업들이 존재하고 있다. 그 이유 중의 하나는, 사업의 타당성을 평가함에 있어서 소요되는 비용은 명백히 드러나지만 사업실시에 따른 편익항목의 종류와 기준은 애매모호한 부분이 존재하기 때문이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 편익항목을 설정하는 기준을 명확히 하기 위하여 우선적으로, 부산광역시의 도로 및 도시철도의 시설이용자에 대한 만족도 평가와 함께 교통시설에 있어 기존의 경제성 분석방법으로 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과 이용자들은 도시철도 이용에 대한 만족감이 도로이용보다는 높게 나타났으나 경제성 분석 방법인 B/C분석을 행한 결과, 도시철도시설이 대상도로에 비해 경제적 타당성이 상당히 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 모순적인 사실은 현재 부산광역시의 인구에 대비한 지하철 수단분담율에 비춰볼 때 편익항목에 대한 설정 기준이 맞지 않아 편익의 값이 다소 적게 산출된 결과라고 판단할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 교통시설 건설타당성 평가를 실시할 경우에 고려되어야 할 편익항목들을 열거하고 ANP기법을 통하여 각각의 항목에 대한 가중치를 산정하였다. 그 결과 접근성, 정시성, 주행시간 순으로 높은 가중치를 가지고 있었으며, 기존의 경제성 분석시 고려되는 편익항목보다는 주민의 교통여건향상에 따른 편익항목이 더욱 높은 중요도를 가지고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다.

Lately, influence of information rises and interest about satisfaction estimation of information providing service is risin. According to rapid change in information environment, information-providing service is being changed in various form, in which center development is made in relation to the effort for customer satisfaction intended to enhance user's satisfaction level through providing more convenient and higher service centered on information service user rather than information service provider. Organizations providing information service is also changing their service from traditional one centered on service provider to that for user's satisfaction and service quality, and evaluation of information service quality and measurement of user's satisfaction as the result of using information service are regarded important. In this respect, it is needed to measure user's satisfaction level for environmental factors of information service and analyze what kind of influence they have to enhance user's satisfaction level of information service. Also function and efficiency of information offer service are important. Therefore, interest for satisfaction survey to heighten contents satisfaction of information-providing service, service satisfaction, satisfaction of user of system satisfaction is increased. In this paper, we propose a model of the user satisfaction index for information-providing services and present the user satisfaction index is measured to the model. Also we this study suggest qualitative improvements of information-providing service required for change to user-centric information-providing service through measuring user satisfaction index of ITFIND system and schemes to improve information quality

As information is the critical resource of business, CIOs(chief information officers)' managerial roles become more important. CIOs work out the organization and information system strategies, introduce changes into organizations, communicate with chief executive officers and users, and take the responsibilities of the information system operation. The CIOs' managerial roles make affects on the information system performance and the organizational effectiveness. They are divided into six sub-roles; leader, liaison, entrepreneur, monitor, resource allocator and spokesman. The CIOs' influences on organizations are evaluated by information systems performance. User information satisfaction is one of the most valid information system evaluation criterions. User participation and user involvement are regarded as the antecedents of user satisfaction. This study investigates the effect of CIOs' managerial roles on user satisfaction, user participation, user involvement, CIOs' six managerial roles do not equally influence users. The results of this study have implications for the CIOs' managerial roles in organizations. As CIOs effectively perform managerial roles, user satisfaction is improved.

This study investigated the user's attitude to the nature trail called Gubulgil in Gunsan reservoir area and evaluated the quality of user's satisfaction of the trails and their facilities by importance-performance analysis (IPA). User's evaluation was achieved through questionnaire survey and total 283 pieces of subjects were used for the analysis. The results are as follows. Firstly, importance value of circularity of trails was very high, and it has great implication to ordinary trails which connect ecological, historical and cultural spots routinely and linearly. Secondly, through the IPA, relatively dissatisfied attributes were parking lots, direction boards, storytelling, convenient facilities and encountering of wildlife. Expansion of parking lots can cause the environmental disruption, so running a shuttle service from Gunsan downtown to the reservoir at weekends can be more reasonable. In case of ecological and historical information delivery, softwares like storytelling contents with sense of realism as well as hardwares of informative signboards are very important in nature trails. Encountering wildlife in trails is fascinating experience but it means visitors may disturb wildlife habitats. So route design should be done very carefully not to intrude their territories.

본 연구에서는 '제품에 대한 사용자의 심리적 가치의식이 디자인 평가에 어떠한 작용을 하는가'에 문제의식을 제기하여 14가지의 제품 샘플을 대상으로 평가를 실시하였다. 이에 따른 주요내용은 '제품평가의 단계별 사고', '제품에 대한 가치의식', '조형이미지 생성과 디자인 평가' 등 크게 3가지 영역을 주요 골자로 하여 분석을 실시하였다. 결론 도출을 위해 먼저 4개의 연구가설을 설정하였고, 이를 검증하기 위하여 '종결적 조사'의 일환으로 사례연구를 실시하였다. 표본은 데이터의 정확성을 높이기 위하여 제품디자인을 전공으로 하는 20대 대학생 120명을 대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 데이터는 '단순집계'에 의하여 전체적인 흐름을 파악하였고, 이를 토대로 3개의 평가항목에 대한 구체적인 분석을 실시하였다. 분석방법은 '요인분석(factor analysis)', '클러스터분석(duster analysis)' 등 '다변량분석(multivariate analysis)'에 의한 '정량적 분석'에 중점을 두었다. 본 연구의 실증분석은 유의수준 p<.05에서 검증하였고, 통계처리는 'SPSSWIN 12.0' 프로그램을 사용하였다. 그 결과 '제품에 대한 사용자의 가치의식에 따른 디자인 평가의 유형'에 관해 4가지 결론을 얻었다.

The objective of this study was to criticize the model house of apartment and suggest a evaluation model which could be used as an effective tool. The evaluation model had been developed based on the theoretical framework suggested by previous results of research related on housing design, which comprised the following four components : 1) the paradigm of future home and life-style, 2) marketing effects of housing developer, 3) goals and principles of housing design and 4) results of user-preferences study, an evaluation model was suggested as a preliminary form which would be modified in detail after series of tests in the field. The evaluation model will be used to provide standardized criteria for the quality of model houses, and eventually help to improve the quality of apartment housing design by balanced information from theorist, user and developer.
