This paper examined the impact of real exchange rate volatility on trade balance in Malaysia by using quarterly data from year 2000 until 2019. Generalized Autoregressive Heteroscedasticity (GARCH) model was used to extract the volatility component of real exchange rate before examining its impact on trade balance. Furthermore, Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model was used to investigate the long-run relationship and short-run dynamic between trade balance, money supply, national income and volatility of exchange rate. Empirical results show the existence of co-movement between variables under study in the long-run. However, the results also suggest that volatility of real exchange rate does not significantly affect trade balance neither in the long-run nor short-run. The risk which is associated in the movement of exchange rate do not influence trader's behaviour toward Malaysia exports and imports. Thus, it should be note that any depreciation or appreciation in Malaysian Ringgit do not have an impact towards trade balance either it is being further improved or deteriorates. Hence, exchange rate volatility may not be too concern for policymakers. This may be partially due to manage floating exchange rate regime that has been adopted by Malaysia eventually eliminated the element of risk in the currency market.

최근 국가적으로 수도권광역급행철도 공사가 진행되고 있다. 도심 내의 터널 굴착공사 시 진동, 소음이 발생하며 이로 인한 인근 거주자에 불편한 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이와 같은 상황을 대비하고자 건설사는 공사계획단계에서부터 인근지역의 주민들과의 협의, 제기된 민원에 대한 대응방안 수립 등으로 현장내 소음 및 진동 관리계획을 수립한다. 그러나 소음 및 진동 관리계획수립에도 불구하고, 공사기간 동안 산발적으로 발생하는 소음과 진동으로 인해 민원이 근본적으로 해결되지 못하고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해서 프로젝트 계획단계에서부터 인근지역 주민들 대상으로 현실과 몰입감이 높은 소음 및 진동 시뮬레이션 기술을 제공하는 것이 하나의 해결책일 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 현실감과 몰입감을 높일 수 있는 가상현실을 기반으로 발파소음 및 진동을 직접 체험할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 시스템 개발의 필요성을 인지하고 개발에 앞서 시스템 사용의 용이성 및 편이성을 고려한 UI를 설계하고자 한다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 가상현실 기반 발파소음 및 진동 시뮬레이션 개발에 기여할 것으로 사료하며, 최종 결과물은 도심 내의 터널 굴착공사계획 수립 및 민원대응에 효과적일 것으로 예상된다.

현재 사용되고 있는 PMIS는 사용자의 요구사항을 완벽하게 만족시키지 못하고 있다. 국내 외 PMIS 시스템 사용자의 대부분은, 모바일 PMIS의 개발은 건설현장의 효율성 및 생산성 향상에 도움이 되며 상용화가 필요하다고 생각을 하고 있다. 따라서 모바일 PMIS 개발을 위한 주요 모듈은 공사관리, 문서관리, 공정관리, 현장정보관리 모듈의 구성이 필요하며 이를 위한 각 모듈별 UI설계 및 활용방안의 제시를 통해 시스템 개발을 위한 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 현장 작업자가 공사현장 또는 이동 중에도 태블릿PC 또는 스마트폰과 연계하여 활용하는 모바일 PMIS를 개발하고자 하였다.

고령자는 낮은 디지털 활용 역량, 주기적이고 지속적인 자가관리 유지 어려움이 있어 시간에 따른 변화에 대응해 지속적인 관리를 해줄 수 있는 돌봄 제공자용 건강관리 앱이 필요하다. 이러한 필요성을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 고령자가 사용하기 편한 UI와 단순한 구조의 앱을 디자인하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 앱은 돌봄 현장에서 혈압, 혈당, 심박수 등의 건강 데이터와 신체, 질병, 인지, 의사소통, 환경 등의 특이 정보들을 정기적으로 관리하도록 지원한다. 본 연구에서 개발된 앱은 건강관리 기기와의 연동을 통해 데이터를 자동 입력하고, 기록된 데이터의 자동분석과 시각화 표현이 가능하다. 건강 변화의 추세, 변동성 등의 모니터링으로 돌봄 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 지원이 가능하다. 또한 다양한 건강관리, 의료지원 플랫폼과 연계할 수 있는 확장성이 추가되어 개발되었다. 개발된 앱에 대한 효과성과 만족도가 현장 실증 결과 유의미함이 확인되었다.

Online learning has become a widespread practice for students and teachers in acquiring and delivering knowledge. Education platforms have become prominent in the 21st century with the evolution of technology and the accessibility to online learning. As a result, various learning management systems (LMSs) have been introduced to facilitate online interaction between users. For instance, communication between students and teachers at school. However, there is a need to emphasise user engagement in LMS to enhance the online learning experience amongst students since the design of LMS affects user engagement. This study utilised a systematic literature review (SLR) that examined 74 articles published between 2014 and 2023, focusing on cross-cultural design (CCD), user-centred design (UCD), and usability in LMS design. This study aimed to review CCD and its association with UCD, user interfaces (UI), and user experience (UX) in the context of LMS. CCD has been introduced as an approach to design that embraces different cultures, languages, and social contexts, while UCD plays a significant role in defining user engagement for LMS. All elements in CCD and UCD help create a better user experience for LMS. Besides, this study reviewed the usability of selected LMS to give insights to developers in creating a positive user engagement. An insight into cultural factors that influence the usability of LMS has revealed their value for LMS design, such as the UI/UX elements. Initially, this study may guide future researchers in improving education quality by emphasising CCD and LMS usability, which can enhance user engagement.

클라우드(Cloud) 기술이 적용되는 영역은 기술의 발전과 서비스의 다양화로 점차 확대되고 있다. 방송 플랫폼에도 투자 효율화, 운영 효율화, 서비스 경쟁력 확보 등의 측면에서 클라우드 기술이 도입되고 있다. 최근 국내에서는 클라우드 방송 플랫폼이 UI와 서비스에 도입되면서 서비스 경쟁이 가속화 되고 있다. 클라우드 방송 기술은 단말기의 자원과 소프트웨어 구조에 종속성 없이 서비스를 제공하고, 단말기 별로 분리되어 관리되고 있던 UI와 서비스를 서버기반으로 통합하여 운영될 수 있도록 한다. 논문에서는 클라우드 방송 플랫폼에 대해서 설명하고 적용 효과에 대해서 설명한다.

This study aims to identify the influence of paradoxical leadership on proactive work behavior mediated through psychological safety in the hotel industry. This study employs survey data of five-star deluxe hotels in South Korea using convenience sampling. The number of 270 cases was used for analysis and the hypotheses were analyzed with structural equation modeling and AMOS 20. Paradoxical leadership includes five sub-variables of self-centeredness with other-centeredness (SO) distance and closeness (DC), uniformly and individualization (UI), work requirements and flexibility (RF), and decision control and autonomy (CA). The results indicate that DC, UI, and CA positively influence psychological safety. Further, RF and CA make a positive impact on proactive work. Psychological safety fully mediates the effect of DC and UI on proactive work behavior and partially mediates the effect of CA on it. The findings of this study suggest that the impact of paradoxical leadership on proactive work behavior can be strengthened when this relationship is accompanied with psychological safety and other mediation variables for the relationship need to be further investigated. This study suggests how hotel managers enhance the level of proactive work behavior by training themselves to be paradoxical leaders and making psychologically safe environment.
