As a high-speed growth of internet infrastructure and a fast supply of digital imaging devices, a digital image contents industrialization is growing fast. Digital image contents are represented as digitalized images for recognition by the computer. This paper proposes the customized stock image contents management system for digital image contents developers and UCC contents producers. For automatic batch management of image contents, we design the system using the techniques of stock image meta-data conversion to want, image contents format conversion to want and selective image contents uploading to want. Furthermore, constructed system can be embedded to a system easy and fast. It provides efficient work environment as appling conventional systems and contributes for user-friendly interface construction.

Under Article 2 of the Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits (1993 Revision. UCP), letter of credit means an arrangement whereby an issuing bank is to make a payment to a beneficiary, or is to accept and pay bills of exchange drawn by the beneficiary, or authorises another bank to effect such payment, or to accept and pay such bills of exchange, or to negotiate, against stipulated document(s), provided that the terms and conditions of the letter of credit are complied with. In letter of credit operations, all parties concerned deal with documents, and not with goods, services and/or other performances to which the documents may relate (UCP, Article 4). It is important to note that under UCP, if a letter of credit contains conditions without stating the document(s) to be presented in compliance therewith, banks will deem such conditions as not stated and will disregard them (Article 13 c). Section 5-108(g) of the Uniform Commercial Code also contains a similar provision. However on several occasions the Korean Supreme Court held that non-documentary conditions in letter of credit governed by UCP could be regarded as valid, although they were not desirable in the context of letter of credit transactions. The rationale underlying the decisions was that parties to the letter of credit transactions are free to determine the terms and conditions of the relevant letter of credit. After reviewing the relevant provisions of UCP, UCC, the International Standby Practices (ISP98) and the Supreme Court decisions of Korea, the author suggests that we classify conditions that do not require any documents (so called apparent non-documentary conditions) into two categories and treat them differently. There are apparent non-documentary conditions that are consistent with the nature of letter of credit and those which are inconsistent with the nature of letter of credit. In the first category there are two sub-categories, (i) those which are valid and (ii) those which are invalid and thus should be disregarded. In the second category there are two sub-categories, (i) those which are invalid and thus should be disregarded and (ii) those which are valid but deprive the instrument of the nature as letter of credit.

홈 네트워크가 다양하고 풍부한 콘텐츠를 보유하는 엔터테인먼트 네트워크로 발전함에 따라 향후에는 사용자들이 UCC(user created contents) P2P(peer-to-peer) 파일공유 응용의 사례와 유사하게 자신들의 관심 정보에 기초하여 콘텐츠를 홈 네트워크들 간의 커뮤니티를 예상하면서 이를 디지털 홈 커뮤니티(DHC: digital home community)로 명명한다. DHC 환경하에서 효율적으로 콘텐츠를 공유하려면 계층적인 P2P 기반 오버레이(overlay) 네트워킹에 의한 연결성 및 검색 기법, QoS 및 보안을 안정적으로 지원하는 P2P기반 콘텐츠 분배 기법, 그리고 이에 수반되는 각종 미디어지원 홈 네트워크기기들의 자원 관리 및 구성 기법 등의 다양한 사항들이 만족되어야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DHC 환경에 적합한 특성을 지니는 오버레이 기반 콘텐츠 검색 및 전송 기법들에 대한 고찰을 시도해 본다.

Web 2.0은 개방형과 사용자 중심형이라는 특징으로 우리에게 많은 가능성을 안겨주기도 하지만 UCC에서 나타나는 문제점들의 예를 보면 그 정도가 상당히 심각함을 알 수 있다. 이러한 문제점을 분석하고 해결하기 위해 본 연구에서는 Wiki 시스템을 이용한 사용자 주도형 커뮤니티에 관한 연구를 하였다. 우선 Wiki 시스템의 특징을 이용하여 커뮤니티를 운영하고 운영상의 문제점을 발견, 분석하여 Web 2.0의 긍정적인 문화가 정착될 수 있도록 해결방안을 제시하였다. 이는 사용자들이 만들어가는 Web2.0 시대를 더욱 가능성 높이 만들어 줄 것이다.

A large portion(above 70%) fo the hydrocorbon and NOx emissions for a typical vehicle occur mainly before the conventional underbody catalyst reaches activation temperature. To meet the stringent regulation as EC stage 2, the emissions produced during this period must be reduced. One of alternative techniques is to place CCC(Close-Coupled Catalyst) near the exhaust manifold. In this study, the characteristics of CCC are observed through EEC mode.

웹 2.0이 등장하면서, 인터넷은 데이터에 대찬 효과적 표현을 위할 시맨틱웹 정보화 사용자 중심의 정보 표현에 대한 패러다임이 등장하면서, 유투브, 세컨드라이프 등의 서비스 모델이 등장하기 시작하였다. UCI는 인터넷에서 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 식별 체계 기능을 하며, 다양한 콘텐츠 유통 모델을 지원하는 체계로 2003년부터 본격적인 서비스를 시작하였다. UCI는 URN을 기반으로 서비스 체계를 완성하여 2007년 현재 15개 RA와 15백만개 이상의 콘텐츠에 대한 서비스를 제공하는 커다란 데이터 운명을 지원하고 있다. 웹 2.0의 다양한 메쉬업 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 UCI는 2가지 측면의 기술적 보완이 이루어졌는데, 하나는 UCL의 등장이며, 또 다른 하나는 콘텐츠 추적에 대한 BM을 제공하는 것이다. UCL은 UCC와 같이 사용자 중심의 인터넷 서비스를 쉽게 제공하기 위한 UCI 콘텐츠 인덱싱 정보를 콘텐츠 저작 도구를 통하며 제공함으로써, 쉽고 생산적인 콘텐츠 생성을 지원하는 것이다. 콘텐츠 추적은 콘텐츠를 분야별 엔티티를 통한 서비스 체계를 지원하는 BM의 특성들 가진 것으로, 콘텐츠 레파지토리의 프레임에 UCI를 제공하여 콘텐츠에 대한 일관된 관리 및 추적을 제공하는 것이다. UCI는 지속적으로 새로운 패러다임에 맞는 BM을 제공할 수 있는 기술들 개발하고 있으며, 콘텐츠 유통 체계의 인프라 서비스를 제공하고 있다.

This paper presents unified chassis control (UCC) to improve the vehicle lateral stability. The unified chassis control implies combined control of active front steering (AFS), electronic stability control (ESC) and continuous damping control (CDC). A direct yaw moment controller based on a 2-D bicycle model is designed by using sliding mode control law. A direct roll moment controller based on a 2-D roll model is designed. The computed direct yaw moment and the direct roll moment are generated by AFS, ESP and CDC control modules respectively. A control authority of the AFS and the ESC is determined by tire slip angle. Computer simulation is conducted to evaluate the proposed integrated chassis controller by using the Matlab, simulink and the validated vehicle simulator. From the simulation results, it is shown that the proposed unified chassis control can provide with improved performance over the modular chassis control.

In this paper, emission analysis during cold start period of CVS-75 mode in LPG vehicle was performed to find out proper operating conditions of SAI(Secondary Air Injection) system. In order to meet SULEV target, the simulated emission system had a SAI system as well as a MCC(Manifold Catalytic Converter) and a UCC(Under body Catalytic Converter). Using commercial 1-D code AMESIM, in which 7 step global surface chemical reactions of Langmuir-Hinshelwood type were adopted, transient emission analysis in the exhaust system during cold start period of CVS-75 mode were carried out to figure out the effects of flow rate, duration of supply air on HC, CO, NO emission.

사회적 컴퓨팅(social computing)의 현상이 Web 2.0 공급사슬(supply chain)의 변화관점에서 새로운 변화의 단계를 맞이하고 있다. Web 2.0 플랫폼을 어떤 형태로 기업 활동에 활용할 것인가 하는 문제제기에 대하여 다양한 기업 활동의 변화사례가 발견되고 있다. 본 논문은 그와 같은 다양한 Web 2.0 환경 확산에 대한 기업 활동의 변화현상 중에서 Web 2.0 플랫폼을 기반으로 한 신제품개발(New Product Development) 사례연구를 통하여 진행한 결과를 반영하였다. 신제품 개발을 위한 플랫폼으로서 Web 2.0 의 협업적 환경을 설계하게 될 경우, 고객의 내재적 요구사항(latent requirement)이 제품개발에 효과적으로 반영될 수 있도록 하는 절차(process)가 기존의 제품개발방법론과 연관되어, 어떤 형태로 적용되고 개선되어 발전될 수 있는가에 대한 경험적 사례를 사례연구방법의 탐험적 경향을 활용하여 살펴보았다. 본 논문에서 다루어졌던 사례는 Web 2.0 플랫폼을 기반으로 사용자 창작 콘텐츠(User Created Content)를 생산하고 증가된 연세대학교 UCC의 양적 팽창에 의해서 수익모델이 발생하는 전형적인 Web 2.0 비즈니스 모델의 구조를 보여주는 경우였다. 본 연구를 통해서 사용자의 내재적 요구사향을 Web 2.0 기술특성을 통해서 참여적 사용자, 혹은 사용자 디자이너들의 적극적인 활동에 의해서 개선 및 구현해 가는 과정을 구체적 개발방법론의 틀로서 정착하려는 시도를 하였다.
