인천국제공항 착륙대 녹지지역의 잔디식재를 위한 한국잔디류 시공법 비교 (Comparison of Construction Methods with Zoysiagrass at the New Incheon International Airport)

  • The back-filled soil of the New Incheon International Airport construction site was reclaimed with sea sand in near the Young-Jong island. The primary study was carried out from August 1993 to June 1997 to study soil amendment and to select salt resistance turfgrass species. This study dealt with low maintenance area that included most part of open space of airport site. The second experiment, from October 1996 to August 1998, focused on soil amendment and selection of turfgrass species for alongside runway where turf area was maintained. Through two previous studies, propagation methods with zoysiagrass were tested for alongside runway and surrounding areas at 1998. The study of construction methods with zoysiagrass, vegetative propagation showed better results on visual quality and cover rating compare with seeding propagation. However, significant different between vegetative and seeding propagation was not showed on visual quality and drought tolerance after one year of plot establishment. The cover rating by seeding construction methods reached in excess of 70% of limitation suggested by the Incheon International Airport Cooperation. Zoysia net and sprigging net methods were the most suitable where there requires rapid and high rate of ground cover. Seeding propagation should be acceptable to obtain a resonable cover rating where there allows relatively longer period of completion. Therefore, it should be possible to attain a proper rating of ground cover on the site of open space, alongside runway or areas similar to the New Incheon International Airport which is being built on dredged seashore sand. However, the methods of soil amendment, selecting salt tolerance species, and proper construction procedure should be considered at the a time.

골프장의 잔디 토양에서 살균제 Tolclofosmethyl의 분해 (Degradation of the Fungicide Tolclofosmethyl in the Turfgrass Soil of Golf Course)

  • Tolclofosmethyl (TCFM) is heavily and annually applied to the turf soils of most golf courses in Gyeongju to control the fungi known to cause the disease brown patch. The soil samples used for the experiment was collected three weeks after the annual application at the end of May in the year 2002. The preliminary results obtained from this study demonstrated that the repeated field annual applications of TCFM to the turf soils of a golf course located in Gyeongju city in the southern area of Korea showed the enhanced degradation of the parent compound TCFM, especially in the surface ($0{\sim}15\;cm$) soil rather than the shallow subsurface ($15{\sim}30\;cm$) and deep subsurface ($30{\sim}45\;cm$) soils, compared to the corresponding surface ($0{\sim}15\;cm$) and shallow and deep subsurface ($15{\sim}30\;cm$ and $30{\sim}45\;cm$) soils of the untreated plot. It appears that microorganisms in the soil may be involved in the enhanced degradation of TCFM.

  • 1,3-Dimethyl-4-acyl-5-hydroxypyrazoles와 methylisocyanate로 부터 제초활성이 있는 1,3-dimethyl-4-acy1-pyrazol-5-yl-N-methylcarbamate 유도체를 합성하였다. 이 화합물들의 구조가 IR, UV, $^{1}H-NMR$, $^{13}C-NMR$ 등의 기기분석에 의해 1,3-dimethyl-4-be-nzoyl-pyrazol-5-yl-N-methylcarbamate(V), 1, 3-dimethyl-4-(2-chlorobenzoyl)-pyrazo1-5-yl-N-methylcarbamate(VI) 그리고 1,3-dimethyl-4-(2,4-dichlorobenzoy1)-pyrazo1-5-yl-N-methylcarbamate(VII) 임이 확인되었다. 이 합성 화합물들의 처리에 의한 벼, 무우, 녹두 및 물잔디 종자의 발아 및 생육에 미치는 phytotoxicity를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 일반적으로 4-acyl-pyrazol-5-yl-N-methylcarbamate 화합물들의 저농도(50ppm)에서는 식물종자의 발아에 큰 영향을 주지 않았으며, 농도가 증가할수록 종자의 발아와 생육을 억제하는 경향이었다. 그들은 벼와 물잔디의 줄기의 생육에는 크게 영향을 주지 않았으며, 녹두와 무우의 생육에는 강하게 억제하는 현상을 나타내었다.

학교운동장용 Kentucky bluegrass 초지의 N 시비수준이 건물수량과 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of N Application Level on Herbage Yield and Quality in Kentucky Bluegrass Pastures for Turf of School Ground)

  • 본 연구는 2001년 8월부터 2003년 12월까지 충남대학교 생명과학대학 내 초지시험포장에서 N 시비수준이 Kentucky bluegrss 잔디초지의 건물수량과 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 수행하였다. N 시비수준은 100, 150 및 200kg/ha의 3처리를 두어 시험하였으며, 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 2년 평균 ha당 건물수량은 N 시비수준이 높아짐에 따라 현저히 증가되어, N 100, 150 및 200kg시비수준에서 각각 6,317, 8,495 및 10,361kg을 나타내었다(p<0.05). CP함량과 DMD는 N시비수준이 높아짐에 따라 뚜렷이 증가되었으나(p<0.05), 섬유소물질의 차이는 뚜렷한 경향을 보이지 않았다. ha당 CPDM과 DDM 수량은 N 시비수준이 높아짐에 따라 뚜렷이 증가되었다(p<0.05). 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 학교운동장조성용 Kentucky bluegrass 단파초지에서 부수적으로 생산되는 목초의 건물수량과 품질을 높이기 위한 N 시비수준은 200kg/ha이 적당할 것으로 사료된다.

축구화 스터드 형태에 따른 무릎 모멘트의 변화 (Changes in Knee Joint Loading on Infilled Turf with Different Soccer Cleat Designs)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between different soccer cleat designs and knee joint moments. Twelve physically active males (mean(SD): age: 26.4(6.2)yrs; height: 176.4(4.1)cm; mass: 74.0 (7.4)kg) were recruited Kinematic and force plate data were collected for all subjects during normal running and a $45^{\circ}$ cutting maneuver, called a v-cut. Both motions were performed at $4.0{\pm}0.2\;m/s$ on infilled artificial turf with three pairs of soccer cleats of different sole plate designs, and one pair of neutral running shoes. Inverse dynamics were used to calculate three dimensional knee joint moments, with repeated measures ANOVA and post hoc paired Student's t-test used to determine significance between shoe conditions. Significant differences were found in the extension moments of the knee for running trials, and for external rotation and adduction moments in the v-cutting trials. Knee moments were greater in v-cut than running, and the traditional soccer cleats (Copa Mondial and World Cup) tended to result in greater knee moments than the Nova runner or TRX soccer cleat. Cleat design was found to influence 3-dimensional knee moments in a v-cut maneuver. In the translational traction test, there were significant differences between all conditions. In the rotational traction test, friction with soccer shoes were greater than friction with running shoes. However, no differences were found between soccer shoes. Higher moments may lead to increased loads and stresses on knee joint structures, and thus, greater injury rates.

골프장 답압지역의 토양개량 (Effect of Soil Amendments at Heavy Traffic Area in Golf Course)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of soil amendments for reducing soil compaction at heavy traffic area in golf course. Major results of this research are summarized at follows: 1. In the Lab. experiment, the porosity was improved significantly when the materials, such as peatmoss, charcoal, and tire chip mixtures were used respectively. Especially mixture of sand and 20% peatmoss showed higher effectiveness (10%) in porosity, comparing with ordinary sand. This soil mixture(sand 80%+peatmoss 20%) was observed the best in water retention, soil hardness and hydrauric conductivity. 2. In the greenhouse experiment, traffic pressure was given 7 times a day on several combination of mixture treatments to see the top dry weight. The soil mixture of 20% peatmoss showed the highest in the top dry weight. When the more traffic pressure(15 time/day) were given on the different treatment, the top dry weight was significantly reduced. However, the mixture of 20% peatmoss also had the least influence on this type of heavy traffic. 3. In the field experiment, the soil amendments were treated in traffic area f golf course, and observed at 30days, 60days, 90days, 120days after treatment. Visual turf quality(color), root length and soil compaction were compared to those of control. As a result, overall treatments with soil amendments were effective, which showed better turf quality and less soil compaction. 4. In the field test, physical characters of soil (such as soil hardness and hydrauric conductivity) in sand+tire chip+peatmoss(60:20:20, %, v/v) treatment was significantly improved. Also in the slow increasing of traffic, the soil compaction was the most effective in reducing soil hardness.

종합 토양개량재 KOB-Soil이 잔디 생육에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of KOB-Soil as a Soil Amendment on Turfgrass Growth)

  • 본 실험은 종합 토양개량재 KOB-Soil이 한지형 잔디의 생육에 미치는 영향을 구명하기 위해 Creeping bentgrass 및 Kentucky bluegrass (KB) 75%+perennial ryegrass(PR) 25%로 조성된 잔디면에서 실험을 수행하였다. 실험기간은 2001년 9월 1일∼2002년 8월 31일까지 강원도 정선군 사북읍, 강원카지노 리조트 실험포 화절령 지구에서 수행하였다. 처리는 USGA 지반의 혼합층에 모래 80%+피트 20%, 모래80%+KOB-Soil 1호 20% 및 모래 80%+KOB-Soil 2호 20%로 하였다. 조사항목으로 잎 길이(mm), 잎 수, 잔디품질, 뿌리길이(mm)를 조사하였다. 종합 토양개량재 KOB-Soil은 한지형 잔디인 크리핑 벤트그래스와 Kentucky bluegrass (KB) 75%+perennial ryegrass(PR) 25%의 잎 길이, 잎 수, 잔디품질, 및 잔디 뿌리 생육을 촉진하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 KOB-Soil에 있어 크리핑 벤트그래스와 KB 75%+PR 25%의 생육은 KOB-Soil 1호가 2호보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이는 KOB-Soil 1호는 BFS-1000이 ㎥당 2.76L 수량 및 Root grow(황산고토를 주성분으로 하는 천연 토양개량제)가 ㎥당 0.48L 의 수량이 함유되어 있기 때문으로 판단된다.

Greenup 촉진을 위한 액상아미노산비료의 사용 (Application of Liquid Amino-fertilizer for Greenup Promotion during Spring Season)

  • 우리나라 골프장에 조성된 한지형 잔디 5종류 38품종에 대하여 액상아미노산비료가 봄철 green up 촉진에 미치는 효과를 잔디포장에서 잔디 색(Index)과 생육지수(NDVI)로 평가하였다. 잔디 색은 처리 간에 통계적인 유의성의 차이를 보였다. 5종의 잔디와 품종에서 액상아미노산비료(Ami, Amix) 와 키토올리고아미노산비료(Oligo)가 고형 복합비료(Con)보다는 greenup을 촉진시키는 효과가 있었다. 잔디생육지수도 처리 간에 통계적인 유의성의 차이를 보였다. 5종의 잔디와 품종에서 Ami, Amix 와 Oligo 가 Con보다는 greenup을 촉진시키는 효과가 있었다. 본 시험의 결과로 볼 때 봄철 잔디의 greenup 촉진을 위해서는 Con보다는 Ami, Amix 및 Oligo 처리가 효과가 있었다.

폐 EPDM을 이용한 고무 복합 소재 개발 (Development of Rubber Composite Materials Using Waste EPDM)

  • 제대로 재활용되지 못하고 있는 폐 EPDM 즉, 자동차 Weather strip이나 세탁기 가스켓 등에서 재생한 폐EPDM 분말을 적합하고 경제성있는 Polyolefin계 Elastomer와 수지(Binder), 그리고 Filler 및 기타 첨가제를 선정하여, 다양한 배합조건으로 고무 복합소재를 압출 제조하였다. 본 실험에 유익한 기초 실험으로서, 폐 EPDM의 초음파처리 효과, 폐 EPDM복합소재의 폐타이어 복합소재와의 물성 비교, Virgin EPDM과 Devulcanized EPDM과의 비교, 그리고 12 축압출기로 압출한 재료의 물성에의 영향을 고찰하였다. 폐 EPDM을 이용하여 인조잔디 충전재와 카매트용 복합소재를 2 축압출기를 사용하여 압출한 후, 인장시편을 사출하여 인장강도, 신율, 경도의 세가지 물성을 주요 평가지표로 삼고 경제적인 배합처방을 개발하였다.

질소시용 및 예초간격이 한국 잔디(Zoysia japonica Steud.)의 제잔디 구성요소 특성변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Nitrogen Application and Clipping Interval on the Characteristics of Several Turf Components of Korean Lawn Grass (Zoysia japonica Steud.))

  • This study was carried out to examine the effect of nitrogen application and clipping interval on the characteristics of several turf components of korean lawngrass for the basic data of lawn management. It was treated by Split plot design with three replications. The main plots were nitrogen levels with 0, 350, and 700kgN / ha, and the sub plots were clipping intervals with 10, 20, and 30 days The results obtained are summarized as follows ; 1. Increasing the rate of nitrogen fertilizer and frequent clipping increased tiller number of korean lawngrass and the maximum number of tillers obtained in October were recorded from 700kgN application and clipping treatment of 10 days interval. Meanwhile, treatment of 350kgN with 10 days clipping interval increased tillers much more than those of 700kgN with 20 and 30 days clipping intervals. 2. The average number of green leaves occurred during the growth period maximized by applying 700 kgN and clipping 10 days interval. 3. Increasing tiller numbers significantly decreased tops DM weight per tiller by clippng plants at interval of 10 and 20 days, irrespective of nitrogen applied, and with nil N, at the interval of 30 days. By applying 700kgN however, tops DM weight per tiller increased as the number of tillers increased consistently. 4. The highest tops DM weight was achieved from late August to early September by applying 350 and 700kgN. 5. During the growth period, nitrogen application increased unders(stolon+root) DM weight, and, at the same level of nitrogen applied, the increase in stolon DM weight enhanced by lengthening the clipping interval to 30 days. 6. Nitrogen efficiency to green leaves, stolon nodes and DM weight of root with high nitrogen was achieved as clipping interval was shortened.
