발파진동이 터널구조물에 미치는 영향 (Effect of blast-induced vibration on a tunnel)

  • 도심지내 굴착공사는 기존 지하구조물의 근접시공의 시계가 증가하는 추세이다. 근접시공에 따른 터널의 안정성은 가이드라인이 제시되어 있으나, 굴착공사에서 유발되는 발파신동이 터널구조물에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구는 국내외의 터널 안전영역 기준과 발파진동의 허용기준을 검토하고 진동가이드라인을 추정하기 위하여 수치해석적인 방법을 사용하여 수행하였다. 해석에 사용된 발파하중은 이론식인 International Society of Explosive Engineers(2000) 제안식을 이용하여 폭굉압력(detonation pressure)을 산정하였고 해석 모델은 서울지하철을 대상으로 하였다. 실제발파현장에 인접한 지하철 구간의 진동계측치를 수치해석결과와 비교하여 수치해석의 적정성을 검토하였다. 동적수치해석 결과 라이닝의 절점에 작용하는 진동속도의 영향원으로부터 허용값을 만족하는 영역을 제시하였다.

  • 균열, 누수, 박락, 철근노출, 부식, 탄산화 등은 터널 라이닝 건전도 평가항목으로 그 중에서 균열은 주요한 영향요인이다. 1980년 이후로, NATM은 터널의 굴착방법과 링폐합의 지반공학적 개념의 보급과 함께 넓게 적용되었으며, 라이닝에 발생된 균열의 연구도 진행되었으나 종균열에 제한된 연구가 주로 수행되었다. 본 논문에서는 11개의 공용중인 NATM터널의 정밀안전진단 결과를 활용하여 공간적인 위치 및 형태별로 분석하여 터널별 공통된 7개의 균열을 정의, 원인 및 분석, 사례 등을 나타내었다. 종류별 균열은 CCD스캐너 이미지를 3차원으로 분석하여 향후 NATM터널 정기점검 및 정밀안전진단 시 유익한 사례가 휠 수 있도록 하였다.

횡류식 대배기구 방식을 적용한 도로터널에서 화재시 최적배연풍량 선정에 관한 연구 (A Study of Smoke Exhaust Rate for the Transverse Ventilation with Oversized Exhaust Ports in Road Tunnel)

  • Recently, the application of transverse ventilation system with oversized exhaust ports has been increased in bidirectional road tunnel in order to improve smoke exhaust ability. Therefore, in this study, for decision of the optimal smoke exhaust rates in the transverse ventilation system, several standards of nations are compared and numerical simulations with variations of exhaust flow rates are carried out in terms of smoke spread distance by FDS ver. 3.1. As results, in the case of no internal longitudinal air velocity in tunnel, the smoke exhaust rate of $80m^{3}/s$ (the smoke generation rate at HRR of 20MW) is sufficient enough to limit the smoke spread within 250m in 6 minutes after the fire. However, in the case of the internal longitudinal air velocity at 2.5m/s, the smoke exhaust rate should be increased $130m^{3}/s$.

초근접 병설터널의 암반 필라 거동 평가 (An Assessment of Rock Pillar Behavior in Very Near Parallel Tunnel)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로터널을 대상으로 최소 이격거리가 0.5D 이하인 근접 병설터널의 암반 필라 거동을 3차원 수치해석방법으로 검토하였다. 암반 필라의 거동에 영향을 미치는 매개변수로 이격거리와 심도(토피고) 및 암반조건의 변화에 따른 안전율을 평가하였다. 이격거리가 증가할수록 토피고와 암반조건에 따른 안전율 추세곡선은 비선형 거동을 보여 주었으며, 최소 안전율을 기준으로 최소 이격거리를 산정하여 설계도표를 제시하였다.

국내 NATM시공 사고사례에 의한 개선방안 연구 (A Study on a Method of Improvement from Domestic NATM Case)

  • NATM as method of tunneling has been applied to construction of domestic subway, roads, rail way, water way etc. Accordingly we have NATM's many drafts and constructional results, but many problems and accidents have occurred under construction of tunnel using NATM for shortage of technical data, poorness of constructional improvement, systemic inconsistency etc. Especially, everyone was shocked at Gupo's train wrecking accident lately. The purpose of this thesis is presentation of means for settling technical problems, by looking into Gupo's train wrecking accident and home records that applying NATM in tunneling failed, to minimize future safety accidents we find that the general problems of home fifteen sites haying occured accidents is badly geological survey, nonconfirmation of base rock's state, formal measuring management, shortage of specialists, systemical discrepancy and that disregarding NATM's rules makes general problems. The results of this study are summarised as follows ; 1. We advise repletion of design standards to practice crosshole test for confirming connected rock base on vertical section of tunnel. 2. We advise to practice pre-boring and pre-grouting for a weak layer difficult in applying NATM. 3. We advise systemic improvements that field servicer can construct tunnel of his own free will considering base rock's state at tunnel. 4. We advise that specialist, who can make a conduct and supervise above mentioned items as well as measuring managements, should be posted at field.

Safety of Train Passengers in a Tunnel

  • Along with the opening of the high speed railroad in 2004, the number of long tunnels constructed is increasing and will be continued. In this respect, the fro inside the tunnels is a main cause of drastic damages to both facilities and lives of passengers on board, especially more severe consequences are expected if the fire occurs on a train in urban area. Even though, the threat to human lives due to the increasing number of tong tunnels and increasing train operation times inside such tunnels is getting bigger, the studies to measure safety of the tunnel and to enhance the safety of passengers have not been carried out enough in Korea. Therefore, in this paper, we will use the probabilistic method to predict the average number of deaths of passengers in case of fire on a train iii tunnel, and show the potential risk to passengers which can be a guide for safer design of tunnels to be constructed.

터널 화재안전에 대한 효율적 재난대응 방안 (Efficient Disaster Response Plan for Tunnel Fire Safety)

  • As the distribution of vehicles and logistics increases due to the development of human civilization and the increase in population, various roads play an important role in domestic traffic and transportation. However, the recent emergence of large cities and new cities is causing traffic problems, and the increase in roads is inevitable for the smooth distribution of vehicles and logistics. In Korea, mountainous regions occupy 70% of the country, so tunnels are used to open roads. Without this, it is difficult to open the road. Currently, there are 3,720tunnels (as of December 31, 2023) installed on high-speed national highways, general national highways, and local roads nationwide, with a length of 2.499 and increasing every year. Accordingly, fire accidents in tunnels will also increase, and due to the nature of tunnel fire accidents, there is a high probability that they will escalate into large-scale disasters, resulting in casualties and property damage, as well as significant social losses due to the disruption of logistics transportation, etc. As the possibility of potential hazards is increasing, the purpose of this study is to build a safe and efficient tunnel system by optimizing maintenance and management for fire and disaster accidents in tunnels.

터널 건전도 평가를 위한 라이닝 모델실험 (Model Test of Lining for Estimation of Tunnel Soundness)

  • Recently, many deformations in tunnel such as crack and leakage were occulted. Specially, the defects of tunnel lining have been a serious problem in safety and stability many repair works for maintenance in tunnel have been carried out. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate the structural cracking for countermeasure in deformed tunnel and to investigate on the characteristics of lining system and the soundness of tunnel. In this study model tests for tunnel lining were carried out using test apparatus and centrifuge, In the direct loading test, the prototype was Kyungbu high-speed railway tunnel and the scale is 1/10, and lining models were made of concrete. Test conditions included load conditions such as direction, shape and type, lining conditions such as single and double lining, thickness, and reinforcement. In centrifuge model test, the prototype was Seoul subway tunnel and the scale is 1/100, and lining models were made of aluminum and hydrostone. Test conditions included tunnel defects such as thickness shortage. behind cavity and longitudinal cracks, reinforcement methods such as epoxy, grouting and carbon sheet. From these model tests , the characteristics of deformation and failure for tunnel lining were estimated, and the structural behaviors of deformed lining and the effects of repair and reinforcement for tunnel lining were researched.

시뮬레이터를 이용한 장대터널 내에서의 운전자 특성 연구 (A Study on Driver's Characteristics in Long Tunnel Using Driving Simulator)

  • Generally, it is well known that driving in tunnel imposes large burden to driver because of spatial constraint, limited visual field and so on. And such a burden of driver result in high accident occurrence. In this reason, studies dealing with features of driving and traffic flow in tunnel have been performed. However, information about characteristics of drivers and traffic in a very long tunnel is not accumulated yet. The purpose of this study is to identify the relations between tunnel length and burden of driver, driving patterns, traffic flow characteristics using the tunnel simulator that realizing various tunnel situations. For this, the tunnel simulation program was developed along 11km-length section. And biological data of 10 subjects gained from driving condition in simulation program was analyzed and compared with the result of real driving condition.

터널의 안전율 평가 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Assessment of Safety Factor of Tunnels)

  • 본 연구에서는 터널의 안정성을 정량적으로 평가하기 위해 지반과 지보재의 파괴를 고려한 터널의 안전율에 대한 개념을 정립하고, 안전율을 계산하는 수치해석기법을 정립하고자 하였다. 안전율을 구하기 위해서 지반이 파괴될 때까지 지반의 강도를 감소시켜가며 반복적으로 해석을 수행하는 전단강도 감소기법을 사용하여 지반의 파괴 및 이에 따른 지보재의 파괴를 고려하여 측압계수 및 암반등급에 따른 터널의 안전율을 구하였다. 이 방법을 사용하면 파괴 활동면을 미리 가정하지 않아도 안전율과 파괴 활동면을 동시에 구할 수 있다. 수치해석은 유한 차분법에 기초를 둔 지반해석 프로그램인 FLA $C^{2D}$(ver 3.3)을 사용하였으며, 해석 결과로부터 소성영역의 분포와 지보재의 응력분포를 확인하였다. 해석 결과 양호한 1등급과 2등급의 암반에서는 안전율이 높게 나타났으며, 암반등급이 저하될수록 안전율은 낮게 계산되었다. 또한 측압계수 0.5인 경우가 측압계수 2.0인 경우보다 안전율이 더 크게 확보되는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 정의된 안전율은 터널의 안정성을 나타내는 정량적 지표로 사용될 수 있음을 확인하였으며. 소성영역, 숏크리트 응력, 록볼트 축력을 검토함으로써 터널에 설치되는 지보재의 양과 설치 위치를 조정하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.다.
