2차원 절삭과정에서의 Acoustic Emission과 절삭 파라미터 사이의 관계 (Relationship between Acoustic Emission and Cutting Parameters of the Orthogonal Cutting Process)

  • The objective of this study is to establish the comprehensive analytical relationship between acoustic emission and fundamental parameters of the orthogonal cutting process. The sources of acoustic emission in the orthogonal metal cutting process was identified as deformation in the shear zone and sliding friction at the chip-tool interface. The validity of this relationship is evaluated by a series of tests varing cutting speed and rake angle for A16063 tube. Strong dependence of the RMS voltage of acoustic emission on cutting speed and rake angle was observed. It was also found that the percentage contribution of AE energy at each zone for the total AE activity is constant in accordance with the change of cutting speed. The relationship between the RMS of acoustic emission and the fundamental cutting parameters was modified in order to be utilized independent of rake angle.

흉부팬텀을 이용한 변형된 늑골 사방향 검사의 유용성에 관한 연구 (The Study of Effectiveness in a Modified Rib Oblique Projection View Using a Chest Phantom)

  • 본 연구는 늑골의 사방향 검사 시 환자의 자세 변화가 아닌 X-선관의 수평 축방향 각도 변화를 적용하여 영상화 하였다. 인체 모형 팬텀을 이용하여 일반적인 늑골 사방향의 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 중심 X-선을 팬텀의 수직 입사 방향으로부터 오른쪽 수평 축 방향으로 $5^{\circ}$ 간격으로 $5^{\circ}$부터 $30^{\circ}$까지 6단계의 입사각도 변화를 적용한 변형 사방향 실험 영상을 획득하였다. 영상의 정량적 비교 평가를 위해 대조영상을 기준으로 실험 영상의 관심 영역 별 SNR과 CNR을 계산하였다. 또한 대조 영상의 좌 우 늑골 비율과 실험 영상의 X-선 입사각도 별 좌 우 늑골 비율을 측정하여 비교하였다. 실험 결과, $25^{\circ}$의 X-선 입사 각도를 적용한 실험 영상이 표준 검사 방법을 적용한 대조 영상과 비교하였을 때 SNR과 CNR, 좌 우 늑골 비율의 측정값에서 가장 근사한 값을 나타내었다. 변형 늑골 사방향 검사는 환자의 검사 자세 유지가 어려울 경우 적용할 수 있는 늑골 사방향 검사 방법으로 유용할 것이라 생각된다.

맥동압력조건에서 재생기를 통한 왕복유동의 압력강하 특성에 대한 연구 (Investigation on the pressure drop characteristics of oscillating flow through regenerators under pulsating pressure conditions)

  • This paper proposes a new oscillating flow model of the pressure drop through the regenerator under pulsating pressure. In this oscillating flow model. pressure drop is expressed by the amplitude and the phase angle with respect to the inlet mass flow rate. In order to generalize the oscillating flow model. non-dimensional parameters, which are Reynolds number, Valensi number, gas domain length ratio, oscillating flow friction factor and phase angle of pressure drop, are derived from the capillary tube model of the regenerator. Correlations for the oscillating flow friction factor and the phase angle are obtained from the experiments for the twill-square screen regenerators under various operating frequencies and inlet mass flow rates. The oscillating friction factor is a function of the Reynolds number alone and the phase angle of pressure drop is a function of the Valensi number and the gas domain length ratio. Experiment is also performed to examine the effect of the weave style of screen. Experimental data demonstrate the superiority of the oscillating flow model over the previous steady flow model.

Experimental and numerical investigation of expanded metal tube absorber under axial impact loading

  • In this research, the cylindrical absorber made of expanded metal sheets under impact loading has been examined. Expanded metal sheets due to their low weight, effective collapse mechanism has a high energy absorption capacity. Two types of absorbers with different cells angle were examined. First, the absorber with cell angle ${\alpha}=0$ and then the absorber with angle cell ${\alpha}=90$. Experimental Study is done by drop Hammer device and numerical investigation is done by finite element of ABAQUS software. The output of device is acceleration-time Diagram which is shown by Accelerometer that is located on the picky mass. Also the output of ABAQUS software is shown by force-displacement diagram. In this research, the numerical and experimental study of the collapse type, force-displacement diagrams and effective parameters has been investigated. Similarly, the comparison between numerical and experimental results has been observed that these results are matched well with each other. From the obtained results it was observed that the absorber with cell angle ${\alpha}=0$, have symmetric collapse and had high energy absorption capacity but the absorber with cell angle ${\alpha}=90$, had global buckling and the energy absorption value was not suitable.

Analysis of BNNT(Boron Nitride Nano Tube) synthesis by using Ar/N2/H2 60KW RF ICP plasma in the difference of working pressure and H2 flow rate

  • A radio-frequency (RF) Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) torch system was used for boron-nitride nano-tube (BNNT) synthesis. Because of electrodeless plasma generation, no electrode pollution and effective heating transfer during nano-material synthesis can be realized. For stable plasma generation, argon and nitrogen gases were injected with 60 kW grid power in the difference pressure from 200 Torr to 630 Torr. Varying hydrogen gas flow rate from 0 to 20 slpm, the electrical and optical plasma properties were investigated. Through the spectroscopic analysis of atomic argon line, hydrogen line and nitrogen molecular band, we investigated the plasma electron excitation temperature, gas temperature and electron density. Based on the plasma characterization, we performed the synthesis of BNNT by inserting 0.5~1 um hexagonal-boron nitride (h-BN) powder into the plasma. We analysis the structure characterization of BNNT by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), also grasp the ingredient of BNNT by EELS (Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy) and Raman spectroscopy. We treated bundles of BNNT with the atmospheric pressure plasma, so that we grow the surface morphology in the water attachment of BNNT. We reduce the advancing contact angle to purity bundles of BNNT.

무인항공기용 서보형 받음각센서 개발 (Development of Servo Type Angle-of-Attack Sensor for UAV)

  • 본 논문에서는 null-seeking method를 사용하여 서보형 받음각 센서를 설계하고 그것의 특징을 분석하였다. Null-seeking method는 측정부의 두 압력 홀에서 측정되는 압력 차이가 0이 되도록 회전한 측정부의 동체 기준선에 대한 회전각으로 받음각을 측정한다. 이 방법은 측정 전 범위에서 높은 정확도와 일정한 오차를 가진다. 그러므로 이러한 종류의 받음각 센서는 무인항공기에 적합하다. 이 논문에서 개발될 받음각 센서의 요구사항을 분석하여, 서보형 받음각 센서를 설계 가공하였다. 그 후 받음각 센서에 탑재할 받음각 계산 알고리즘을 개발하였으며, 끝으로 MATLAB Simulink와 풍동시험을 통해 개발된 받음각 센서의 특성을 검증하였다.

미세휜관내 윤활유를 포함한 대체냉매의 압력강하 예측에 관한 연구 (Study on the Prediction of Pressure Drop for Alternative Refrigerants with lubricant in Micro-Fin Tubes)

  • This paper presents a pressure drop correlation for evaporation and condensation of alternative refrigerant with oil in micro-fin tubes. The correlation was developed from a data base consisting of oil-free pure and mixed refrigerants in micro-fin tube; Rl25 R134a. R32 R410a(R32/R125 50/50% mass), R22, R407c(R32/R125/R134a, 23/25/52% mass) and R32/R134a(25/75% mass). The micro-fin tube used in this paper had 60 0.2mm high fins with a 18 helix angle. The cross sectional flow area $(A_c)$ was $60.8 mm^2$ giving an equivalent smooth diameter$(D_e)$ of 8.8mm. The hydraulic diameter $(D_h)$ was estimated to the 5.45mm. The new correlation was obtained by replacing the friction factor and the tube-diameter in Bo Pierre correlation by a friction factor derived from pressure drop data for a micro-fin tube and the hydraulic diameter, respectively. This correlation was also used to predict some pressure data with a lubricant after using a mixing viscosity rule of lubricants and refrigerants. As a result, the new correlation was also well predicted to the measured data within a mean deviation of 19.0%.

Displacement pattern of the anterior segment using antero-posterior lingual retractor combined with a palatal plate

  • Objective: To evaluate and compare the effects of two appliances on the en masse retraction of the anterior teeth anchored by temporary skeletal anchorage devices (TSADs). Methods: The sample comprised 46 nongrowing hyperdivergent adult patients who planned to undergo upper first premolar extraction using lingual retractors. They were divided into three groups, based on the lingual appliance used: the C-lingual retractor (CLR) group (group 1, n = 16) and two antero-posterior lingual retractor (APLR) groups (n = 30, groups 2 and 3). The APLR group was divided by the posterior tube angulation; posterior tube parallel to the occlusal plane (group 2, n = 15) and distally tipped tube (group 3, n = 15). A retrospective clinical investigation of the skeletal, dental, and soft tissue relationships was performed using lateral cephalometric radiographs obtained pretreatment and post en masse retraction of the anterior teeth. Results: All groups achieved significant incisor and canine retraction. The upper posterior teeth did not drift significantly during the retraction period. The APLR group had less angulation change in the anterior dentition, compared to the CLR group. By changing the tube angulation in the APLR, the intrusive force significantly increased in the distally tipped tube of group 3 patients and remarkably reduced the occlusal plane angle. Conclusions: Compared to the CLR, the APLR provides better anterior torque control and canine tipping while achieving bodily translation. Furthermore, changing the tube angulation will affect the amount of incisor intrusion, even in patients with similar palatal vault depth, without the need for additional TSADs.

원격 후 장전치료기를 사용한 고선량률 근접치료시 기구의 형태와 선원 전달 도관의 곡률 변화에 따른 선원위치 정확성에 관한 고찰 (A study on the accuracy of source position in HDR brachytherapy according to the curvature of Universal applicator transfer tube and applicator type)

  • 목 적 : 본 연구에서는 원격 후 장전치료기를 이용한 근접치료 시, 선원 위치 부정확성의 기하학적 요인인 선원 전달도관의 늘어진 정도를 나타내는 곡률과, 각기 다른 기구의 형태가 선원 위치 재현성에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : HDR plus 3.0.5로 선원의 위치 간격 1 cm 씩 10 개의 지점으로 선원이 각 위치에 머무는 시간을 15 초로 하는 치료 계획을 수립하였다. 선원 전달도관(Universal applicator transfer tube)의 늘어짐이 선원의 위치 정확성에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 선원 전달도관을 MultiSource container에서 GAFCHROMIC$^{(R)}$ EBT3 film 까지 일직선으로 연결한 후, 이 위치부터 MultiSource container를 필름 방향으로 5 cm, 10 cm, 20 cm으로 이동하여 선원의 위치를 측정하였다. 또한 각기 다른 각도를 가진 기구(applicator) 4 종류($0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $65^{\circ}$)에 대해서도 동일한 방법으로 실험을 하였다. 분석을 위해 Image J를 이용하여 선원의 위치 차이 값을 획득하였고 이를 비교 분석하였다. 결 과 : 선원 전달 도관의 형태가 곡률이 없는 일직선일 경우, 형태가 다른 기구의 선원 위치 평균 오차는 기구의 각도가 $0^{\circ}$, $15^{\circ}$, $30^{\circ}$, $65^{\circ}$일 때, 각각 0.90 mm, 0.96 mm, 1.66 mm, 1.83 mm로 나타났고, 선원 위치 오차범위 ${\pm}2mm$ 내에 있는 것으로 확인되었다. MultiSource container을 필름 방향으로 5 cm, 10 cm, 20 cm 이동하였을 때 기구 형태 별 선원 위치의 평균 오차는 증가하였고, 그 값은 ${\pm}2mm$를 초과하였다. 또한, 좌표값을 분석한 결과 4 종류의 기구 모두 치료계획 상의 선원 위치보다 윗부분으로 치우치는 방향성을 나타냈다. 결 론 : 선원 위치의 오차는 선원 전달도관의 곡률과 치료 시 사용되는 기구의 형태에 모두 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 선원 전달도관과 기구 모두 직선의 형태를 갖추고 있을 때 선원 위치 오차가 가장 작았다. 본 연구를 바탕으로 근접치료 시, 선원 전달도관의 곡률 발생을 최소화하여 최대한 직선의 형태로 유지시켜야 할 것이며, 치료 시 사용되는 기구의 굴곡이나 폐암의 기관지 내 강내조사와 같이 곡률이 발생할 수밖에 없는 경우에는 선원 위치점검이 선행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

나선 그루브와 평관형 열사이폰의 응축열전달 성능 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Condensation Heat Transfer Performance of the Helical Grooved and Plain Thermosyphons)

  • This study concerns the performance of condensation heat transfer in plain and grooved thermosyphons. Distilled water, methanol, ethanol have been used as the working fluids. In the present work, a copper tube of the length of 1200mm and 14.28mm of inside diameter is used as the container of the thermosyphon. Each of the evaporator and the condenser section has a length of 550mm, while the remaining part of the thermosyphon tube is adiabatic section. A study was carried out with the characteristics of heat transfer of the thermosyphon 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 helical grooves in which boiling and condensation occur. The liquid filling as the ratio of working fluid volume to total volume of thermosyphon, the kinds of working fluid, the inclination angle, grooves and operating temperature have been used as the experimental parameters. The experimental results show that the number of grooves, the amount of the working fluid, the kind of working fluid, angle of inclination angle are very important factors for the operation of thermosyphon. The maximum heat transfer was obtained when the liquid fill was about 20 to 25 % of the thermosyphon volume. The relatively high rates of heat transfer have been achieved in the thermosyphon with grooves. The helical grooved thermosyphon having 70 to 80 grooves in water, 60 to 70 grooves in methanol and 70 to 80 grooves in ethanol shows the best heat transfer coefficient in both condensation.
