The Effects of Service's Characteristics on Service Performance by Mediating Service Relationship Quality in Specialty Hospitals (전문병원의 서비스특성이 서비스관계품질을 매개로 서비스성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study explains how service characteristics such as service competence, service customization, interpersonal communication and image affect service trust and affective commitments and how service trust, affective commitment play a role in affecting risk-taking and service loyalty in specialty hospital. and then confirm the mediating role of relationship quality components such as service trust and affective commitment in the above path relation. For this purpose, the research hypothesis was verified by structural equation model analysis(SEM) using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20.0 statistical package. The results of the study are as follows. First, interpersonal communication influenced service trust, image influenced affective commitment, service ability influenced service trust and emotional commitment, while service customization did not affect any factor. Second, service trust and affective commitment did not effect each other. Third, service trust and affective commitment were more powerful in risk-taking than the influence on service loyalty. Fourth, Risk takings affected service loyalty. Therefore, marketers of special hospitals not only medical services by providing medical service with superior service ability, but also by always strengthening interpersonal communication at the time of providing services. This will enable consumers to overcome the avoidance in the service decision process and implement a specific service marketing strategy that can continuously use the hospital service.

Effects of Perceived Relational Benefits in Live Commerce on Consumer Trust and Purchase Intention (라이브커머스의 지각된 관계혜택이 소비자 신뢰 및 구매의도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study empirically investigated the relationship benefits perceived by consumers from a live commerce channel and verified effects on trust in seller/product relationship and purchase intention to establish a strategy for a live commerce channel. An online survey was conducted among 204 women residing in Korea who had watched a video on fashion products shown by the NAVER Shopping channel. The perceived relational benefits from the live commerce channel were extracted into four groups: psychological, social, economic, and customerization benefits. Psychological benefits were found to have a positive effect on trust in seller but not trust in product. Social benefits and customization benefits had a positive effect on both trust in seller and product, but economic benefits had no effect. Trust in seller and in product had positive effects on purchase intention. Understanding consumer response in relation to perceived relationship benefits in live commerce can contribute strengthen consumer behavior research on live commerce channels. These results can guide fashion companies as they develop live commerce marketing strategies.

연구조직에서의 상사에 대한 신뢰와 지식공유활동이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향

  • This study tries to testify that how much knowledge sharing behavior affects organizational effectiveness and is affected by the supervisory trust empirically. The results show that the higher the supervisory trust was the higher the level of knowledge sharing behavior and ultimately, organizational effectiveness is improved. Specially, the supervisory trust affects job-related knowledge sharing behavior and knowledge sharing system behavior. The knowledge sharing culture, however, is no relation with the supervisory trust. Job-related knowledge sharing behavior influenced both job satisfaction and organizational commitment. But knowledge sharing system influenced only job satisfaction and knowledge sharing culture influenced only organization at commitment. The implication from this paper is that knowledge sharing improves the organizational effectiveness and the supervisory trust is important for knowledge sharing in R&D organization.

  • This study is purposed to find out the relation between the customer loyalty and customer satisfaction factors in Cheonan banquet service. To achieve the objects, customers of banquet companies in Cheonan were selected for a questionnaire survey and a total of 293 valid questionnaires are statistically analyzed, using frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis and regression analysis. The results can be summarized as follows. First, gender, occupation, family forms showed the statistically different results in the service trust. Second, service trust, menu and traffic factors have been approved to affect the revisit intention of a customer significantly. Third, service trust, menu and facilities factors have been approved to affect the word-of-mouse intention significantly. In summary, banquet managers in Cheonan have to focus on the customer satisfaction factors such as service trust, menu, traffic, facilities to meet the customers' needs.

  • Long-term relationship in distribution channels has been emphasized in the former researches. But many researches and literatures have not focused on how to achieve and maintain long-term relationship. To achieve and maintain long-term relationship, this study pays attention to the role of trust and commitment. The purpose of this study is explaining the relation between trust and commitment with the mutual perspectives of retailer and supplier. Research results indicate that trust has an effect on commitment, trust has two levels of firm and a responsible person, and perception of partners commitment has an effect on trust in two levels. And it shows that to increase perception of commitment, increasing commitment, quality of communication, satisfaction, reputation, and decreasing opportunistic behavior should be considered.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the factor influencing in order to increase the intention to revisit rural experience tourism. 181 men and women who had experienced rural experience tourism were surveyed in a Self-Assessment Questionnaire. Some farming experience, life experience, cultural experience, and leisure experience were set as independent variables as representative programs of rural experience tourism, satisfaction and trust as mediated variables, and relationships as dependent variables. Here, the relationship is regarded as a variable representing the intention to revisit. When performing multi-group path analysis by separating men and women, both men and women had a statistically significant positive (+) effect in the Leisure experience→Satisfaction path and the Trust→Relation path. In addition, the paths that were statistically significant for women were not statistically significant, but were statistically significant only for men were Farm experience→Satisfaction path, Farm experience→Relation path, and Leisure experience→Relation path. In addition, the paths that were not statistically significant for men, but statistically significant for women were Culture experience→Satisfaction and Trust→Satisfaction. According to this study, in order to increase the intention to revisit, both men and women should consider leisure experience. And men should emphasize farming experience, while women should emphasize cultural experience. It is considered that there is a need to further subdivide leisure experience, farming experience and cultural experience for the region. This study has a limitation of only 181 people. More large-scale research will be possible in the future.

The Effects of Trust on Happiness among Korean Older Adults: The Role of Place of Residence (거주지역별 노인의 신뢰 유형이 행복에 미치는 영향)

  • The present study examined whether the relation between different types of trust and happiness varied by place of residence (i.e., major cities vs. provinces) among Korean older adults. We used a total of 1,599 Korean adults aged 60 or older who had lived in the same residence at least for 5 years before. Multiple regression analysis was conducted to test an interaction between types of trust and place of residence. Results show that generalized trust and social trust have positive association with happiness. A significant interaction effect between generalized trust, particularized trust, and place of residence were found. In particular, particularized trust was found to have positive effects on happiness within residences who had lived in provinces and generalized trust was found to have positive effects on happiness within residences who had lived in major cities. Findings suggest that different types of trust on happiness, especially interpersonal trust should be interpreted in an environmental context. Future practical implications for increasing older adult's trust are discussed in a cultural context as a way to promote happiness and research directions are discussed.

  • This study attempted to show the importance of trust in a leader by empirically analyzing the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership, organizational effectiveness and trust in a leader. Four hypotheses were formulated and a survey was conducted to examine employees working in hotels in order to verify the hypotheses. Based on the data, leadership, trust in a leader, its relation with organizational effectiveness, and the mediating role of trust in a leader of a hotel were analyzed. The results showed that trust affects the partial mediating or the perfect mediating between leadership and organizational effectiveness. It is hoped that the result of this study will contribute to the development of leadership in the hotel industries in the future.

  • The purpose of this study is to find the UCC (User Created Contents) communication structure in the perspective of smart-phone technologies or SNS (Social Network Service). In developing the research model, we have focused on selecting the success factors appropriate for the UCC through reviewing past researches and on developing more accurate success measures. The model consists of relation each service (Facebook linked in Flickr and so on), relation of trust, transfer to Social Capital and so on . The result shows thar process of trust based in UCC is the most important determinants of structure and organization network. And collaboration relationship is the most important of SNS used in SSO and Open-API technologies. The practice characteristic of UCC has direct and indirect effect on SNS of improving social trust.

  • This research is an empirical research that surveys the influence factors of franchisee's compliance and precedence, which have a direct effect on the success of franchisor, from the view of relation exchange theory. The results herein show that the trust of franchisees towards franchisor has a complete mediating effect between conflict and compliance. This means that in a franchise system, it is important to build trust in order to successfully manage franchisees. Trust built between franchisor and the franchisee has a dominating effect based on relationship even on domains not specified on the contract. Also, it is very important in that it decreases frequently occurring conflicts caused by disagreement of interests and unfair relationship of power, and effectuates compliance of franchisees. Such result is a meaningful theoretical and practical contribution in that it has for the first time domestically investigated the mechanism of relationship leading from conflict and trust to compliance of franchisees by methods of theoretical discussion and empirical analysis.
