정책집행 네트워크에서의 신뢰와 협력생성에 관한 시스템다이내믹스 연구 (A system dynamics study on the Trust and Cooperation in the Policy Implementation Network)

  • The purpose of this study is first, to find out what factors affect the cooperation and trust within the functions in the policy implementation network and in what mechanism these factors interact, second to investigate the whys to manage trust and cooperation successfully in the dynamic situation such as the network setting. For these purpose, this study reviews the concept and characteristics of policy implementation organizations, second, extracts the various factors affecting trust and cooperation in the network situation, third applies and analyzes the relationship among factors to system dynamics model based on the game theory. The results of this study could be summarized as follows: It was found that the utility change within the participants by persuasion & mutual understanding and change of rule would be leading to success in policy implementation network. Also bureaucratic management such as power enforcement does not have any good impact in the managing network. In this study, system simulation method tried to analyze the hypothesis. Quantitative and case analyses were not accompanied and analysis was limited to two-person game theory. So there is some doubt this results could be generalized to actual situation which is N-person game.

전자상거래에서 온라인 업체의 신뢰에 미치는 제도적 메커니즘의 영향 (The Effects of Institutional Mechanisms on the Trust of Online Business in e-Commerce)

  • Purpose This study conducted an empirical study on the influence of institutional mechanisms on the formation of customer trust among leading online businesses. This study focused on the construct of PEEIM(Perceived Effectiveness of e-Commerce Institutional Mechanisms) which is the perceived recognition of institutional mechanisms for e-Commerce in general and the construct of PEIS which is the perceived recognition of institutional mechanisms that are implemented by vendors. Design/methodology/approach The online and offline surveys were conducted for the leading online shopping vendors in Korea and 292 data were used for the empirical analysis. The research model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) in this study. The full measurement model including the formative second-order constructs was examined with the exploratory factor analysis. The structural model was analyzed via a two-stage approach. To analyze the research model this study used Smart PLS 2.0 program. Findings The findings showed that PEEIM negatively moderates the relationship between satisfaction in vender and trust in vender, but had no moderating effect between trust in vender and repurchase intention. In addition, the institutional mechanisms of vendors(PEIS) have been shown to have a direct impact on the vender's trust.

무엇이 한국인을 중국인과 일본인보다 행복하지 않게 만드는가? (What Makes South Korean Perceive Happiness Lower Than Chinese and Japanese?)

  • Purpose - Previous research points out that South Korean perceive their happiness less than Chinese and Japanese, although the three nations belong to the same Northeast Asia cultural sphere. This study aims to find out the reasons for the relatively low perception of happiness in South Korea and develop policy options to improve the relatively low perceived happiness in South Korea. Design/methodology/approach - For the analyses, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and regression analysis were performed based on the World Values Survey data (Wave 7). Findings - First, South Korean perceived happiness less than Chinese due to 'satisfaction with the financial situation of household' and 'in-group trust'. More specifically, although there was no difference in the impact of 'satisfaction with the financial situation of household' on perceived happiness in South Korea and China, South Korean evaluated 'satisfaction with the financial situation of household' lower than Chinese. In addition, the impact of 'in-group trust' on happiness in South Korea was less than that in China, where the level of 'in-group trust' was also lower in South Korea than China. Second, South Korean perceived happiness less than Japanese due to 'in-group trust'. Although South Korean had a higher level of 'in-group trust' than Japanese, the impact of 'in-group trust' on perceived happiness was less in South Korea than Japan. The contribution of 'in-group trust' to perceived happiness, calculated with the regression coefficient of 'in-group trust' multiplied by the mean of 'in-group trust', was evaluated lower in South Korea than Japan. Research implications or Originality - This study identifies the mechanism leading to low perception of happiness in South Korea, based on the World Values Survey data.

공개키를 이용한 커버로스 기반의 강력한 인증 메커니즘 설계 (Design of a Strong Authentication Mechanism using Public-Key based on Kerberos)

  • 분산 네트워크 환경에서 커버로스는 사용자와 응용 서버 사이에 인증을 위해서 대칭키를 사용하고 있으며 다른 영역의 시스템을 신뢰할 것을 가정하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 커버로스에 공개키/개인키를 적용하여 효율적이고 강력한 인증 메커니즘을 설계하였다. 제안하고 있는 메커니즘에서는 사용자 인증을 위해 미리 정해진 long-term 키와 공개키를 통해 교환한 랜덤 수에 MAC 알고리즘을 적용하여 암호화에 사용하는 세션키 값을 매번 바꾸어주기 때문에 안전성을 높였다. 또한, 영역간의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 전자 서명 기반의 시도-응답(challenge-response) 기법을 통한 상호 인증 방법을 사용하고 있으며, 인증 절차를 간소화하여 사용하는 키의 수를 줄였다.

  • There is a tradeoff between user's privacy and utility of context-aware services in ubiquitous computing environments. Many privacy models have been proposed to support the disclosure of personal information at different levels of detail, in ubiquitous computing environments. However, most of these models do not allow for explicit criteria to assess the benefit users are likely to reap by disclosing their personal information. In this paper, we propose an automated decision making mechanism that evaluates the "benefit of disclosure" for the users based on trust relationships between users and information requesters and manages the disclosure of user's personal information accordingly. Unlike other trust models, we do not regard the reputation of an information requester as sufficient to determine his/her trustworthiness. Instead, we represent trustworthiness as a function of information requester's reputation in the eyes of the user and his/her competence in a given context. To validate our mechanism, we apply it to context-aware healthcare application that monitors physiological condition of a user.

A Heterogeneous IoT Node Authentication Scheme Based on Hybrid Blockchain and Trust Value

  • Node identity authentication is an essential means to ensure the security of the Internet of Things. Existing blockchain-based IoT node authentication schemes have many problems. A heterogeneous IoT node authentication scheme based on an improved hybrid blockchain is proposed. Firstly, the hybrid blockchain model is designed to make the blockchain and IoT environment more compatible. Then the proxy node selection mechanism is intended to establish a bridge between the ordinary IoT node and the blockchain, building by calculating the trust value between nodes. Finally, based on the improved hybrid blockchain, the node authentication scheme of the model and proxy node selection mechanism establishes a secure connection for communication between nodes. Safety and performance analysis shows proper safety and performance.

A Secure and Efficient Cloud Resource Allocation Scheme with Trust Evaluation Mechanism Based on Combinatorial Double Auction

  • Cloud computing is a new service to provide dynamic, scalable virtual resource services via the Internet. Cloud market is available to multiple cloud computing resource providers and users communicate with each other and participate in market transactions. However, since cloud computing is facing with more and more security issues, how to complete the allocation process effectively and securely become a problem urgently to be solved. In this paper, we firstly analyze the cloud resource allocation problem and propose a mathematic model based on combinatorial double auction. Secondly, we introduce a trust evaluation mechanism into our model and combine genetic algorithm with simulated annealing algorithm to increase the efficiency and security of cloud service. Finally, by doing the overall simulation, we prove that our model is highly effective in the allocation of cloud resources.

네트웍 환경에서 안전한 Kerberos 인증 메커니즘에 관한 연구 (A Study on Secure Kerberos Authentication using Trusted Authority in Network Structure)

  • 네트웍 환경에서 Kerberos 인증 메커니즘은 Server가 사용자를 인증하기 위해 다른 영역에 있는 Kerberos Server를 신뢰할 것을 요구하고 있다. 또한 상호운용 영역에 있는 Kerberos Server는 다른 영역의 Server와 비밀키를 반드시 공유하여야 한다. 이러한 두 가지의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 IETF CAT의 공개키 기반구조를 갖는 PKINIT/PKCROSS 알고리즘을 적용하고 디렉토리 시스템(Directory System)을 사용하여 영역과 영역사이의 서비스가 신뢰센터를 통하여 각 Kerberos를 증명 할 수 있도록 하는 신뢰센터 기반의 안전한 보안 메커니즘을 제안하였다. 또한 서로 다른 영역의 Kerberos Server는 각 Server의 비밀키와 공유키를 미리 알고 있어야 하지만 신뢰기관을 통하여 각 영역의 공개키 값 및 공유 키 값을 획득하도록 하여 응용 Server가 KDC(Key Distribution Center)에 키를 등록해야 하는 과정을 배제하였다.

Trustworthy Service Discovery for Dynamic Web Service Composition

  • As the number of services available on the Web increases, it is vital to be able to identify which services can be trusted. Since there can be an extremely large number of potential services that offer similar functionality, it is challenging to select the right ones. Service requestors have to decide which services closelysatisfy their needs, and theymust worry about the reliability of the service provider. Although an individual service can be trusted, a composed service is not guaranteed to be trustworthy. In this paper, we present a trust model that supports service discovery and composition based on trustworthiness. We define a method to evaluate trust in order to discover trustworthy services. We also provide a method to perform trust estimation for dynamic service composition, and we present results of two experiments. The proposed model allows for service requestors to obtain the most trustworthy services possible. Our mechanism uses direct and indirect user experience to discover the trustworthiness of the services and service providers. Moreover, composing services based on quantitative trust measurements will allow for consumers to acquire a highly reliable service that meet their quality and functional requirements.

제도기반 신뢰요소가 한국 전자상거래 기업의 생존에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증 분석 연구 (An Empirical Analysis of the Impact of the Institution-based Trust Factors on the Survival of E-commerce Companies in Korea)

  • E-commerce in Korea has grown steadily in recent years. E-commerce has provided firms with an effective method to approach potential customers by overcoming geographical and physical barriers. However, despite the rapid growth, many e-commerce businesses closed their businesses and were not able to survive. This study aims to empirically examine the factors that determine the survival of e-commerce businesses in Korea. In particular, this study focuses on the factors related to the notion of institution-based trust that includes delivery, privacy, and security management. This research used the data set about 31,295 e-commerce businesses that have been registered in Seoul. We found that the e-commerce business that does not require extra personal information beyond the standard terms and conditions or provides a feedback mechanism by having an online board to submit a complaint has a higher chance of survival. In addition, the e-commerce business that has a secured web server, shows the specific information about the date of delivery, or provides escrow services is likely to survive longer than others. The research has extended the extant literature on the importance of trust in e-commerce by empirically examining the effects of the institution-based trust factors on the actual survival of e-commerce businesses.
