  • In order to study effects of ${\ulcorner}Persicae\;Semen{\lrcorner}$ on the hyperlipidemia rats induced by Triton WR, we have made hyperlipidemia rats by administering Triton WR-1339 for 3 days, then have administered. The results were summerized as follows: 1. The total cholesterol, triglyceride and phospholipid by hypercholesteremic rats injected by Triton WR-1339 of the sample group were decreased as compared with those of the control group, 2. The HDL-cholesterol by hypercholesteremic rats injected by Trion WR -1339 were increased as compeared those of control group. According to the above results, Persicae Semen showed inhibition on increase of serum total cholesterol, triglyceride and phosholipid contents as well as inhibition on decrease of HDL-cholesterol contents in hyperlipidemia.

국산과 중국산 지실(枳實)의 Triton WR-1339 유발 고지혈증(高脂血症) 흰쥐에 대한 효능 연구 (Lipid lowering activity of Ponciri Fructus and Aurantii Fructus Immaturus on hyperlipemia rats induced by Triton WR-1339.)

  • Objective : In order to elucidate hyperlipidemic effects of the fruits of Poncirus trifoliata and Citrus aurantium, our experimental study was performed on hyperlipidemia rats induced by Triton WR-1339. Method : The hyperlipidemia rats induced by intraperitonial injection of triton WR-1339 were treated with the fruits of P. trifoliata (rare and preparata) and C. aurantium 50 and 200mg/kg. The amount of triglyceride. total cholesterol. HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, AST. and ALT levels were measured. Results: The levels of triglyceride. total cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol were significantly reduced in fruits of P. trifoliata (rare and preparata) and C. aurantiu. Simvastatine treated group compared with those of control but the level of HDL-cholesterol was incresed. The level of AST and ALT were not significantly reduced by the treatment to the fruits of P. trifoliata (rare and preparata) and C. aurantium. Conclusion : In the hyperlipidemia rats induced by triton WR-1339. the fruits of P. trifoliata (rare and preparata) and C. aurantium showed a hyperlipidemic effect.

The HDL-cholesterol by hypercholesteremic rats injected by Trion WR -1339 of the herb-Acupuncture group were increased as compeared those of control group, especialy hypercholesteremic rats injected by Triton WR-1339 of the herb-Acupuncture+Acupuncture group were some more increased as compared with those of the control group. According to the above results, Persicae Semen showed inhibition on decrease of serum total cholesterol, triglyceride and phosholipid contents as well as inhibition on increase of HDL-cholesterol contents in hyperlipidemia.

마황이문탕(麻黃二門湯)이 흰쥐의 고지혈증 병태모델에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Mahwangimun-tang in Cholesterol Diet and Triton WR-1339 -induced Hyperlipidemic Rats)

  • This study was designed to investigate the hyperlipidemia-healing effect of aqueous extract from Mahwangimun-tang(麻黃二門湯) and it was performed on the hyperlipidemia of rats induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339. We prepared two types of hyperlipidemia model in rats induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339. The amount of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL -cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid, free fatty acid, the activity of superoxide dismutase and glutathione were measured. The aqueous extract from Mahwangimun-tang showed significant decreasing effects on total cholesterol, LDL- cholesterol, triglyceride in the both model. And it showed significant increasing effects on HDL-cholesterol, the activity of SOD in both model. These results suggest that aqueous extract from Mahwangimun-tang has healing efficacy on hyperlipidemia induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339.

익수강지령(益壽降脂靈)이 흰쥐의 고지혈증 병태에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Iksugangjiryung on Hyperlipidemia in Rats)

  • This study was designed to investigate the hyperlipidemia-healing effect of water extract from Iksukangjiryung, it was performed on the hyperlipidemia of rats induced by Triton WR-1339 and high cholesterol diet. We prepared two types of hyperlipidemia model in rats induced by Triton WR-1339 and high cholesterol diet. The amount of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, lipid peroxide, glutathione and the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD) were measured. The water extract from Iksukangjiryung showed significant decreasing effects on total cholesterol, LDL- cholesterol, triglyceride, lipid peroxide in the both model. And it showed significant increasing effects on the activity of SOD in both model and amount of glutathione in Triton WR-1339 model. These results suggest that water extract from Iksukangjiryung has healing efficacy on hyperlipidemia induced by Triton WR-1339 and high cholesterol diet.

국산 및 중국산 백수오(白首烏)의 Triton WR-1339 유발 고지혈증(高脂血症) 흰쥐에 대한 효능 연구 (Effects of Cynanchum spp. on the hyperlipidemia in rats induced by Triton WR-1339)

  • Objective : In order to compare of hyperlipidemia effect of C. wilfordii, C. auriculatum in korea and C. auriculatum in China, it was performed on the hyperlipidemia in rats induced by Triton WR-1339. Method : The 70% MeOH extracts from dried root of C. wilfordii and C. auriculatum in korea and C. auriculatum in china were fractionated into H2O layer and CHCl3 layer. The level of total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, AST and ALT in serum were used to observe the effectiveness of C. wilfordii korean C. auriculatum and chinese C. auriculatum. Results : In the hyperlipidemic rats induced by Triton WR-1339, C. wilfordii and korean C. auriculatum significantly decreased total cholesterol, triglyceride, otherwise significantly increased HDL. And C. wilfordii and chinese C. auriculatum significantly decreased AST and ALT. Conclusion : This study indicate that C. wilfordii korean C. auriculatum and chinese C. auriculatum were effective in the hyperlipidemic rats induced by Triton WR-1339. According to the results, C. wilfordii korean C. auriculatum and chinese C. auriculatum need to considered for the application in hyperlipidemia.

Triton WR-1339로 유발된 흰쥐의 고지혈증에 대한 홍화의 효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Effects of Carthami Flos on the Hyperlipidemic Rats Induced by Triton WR-1339)

  • In order to study the effects of Carthami Flos on the hyperlipidemia, we made hyperlipidemic model by injection of Triton WR-1339 150mg/kg to rats during 3 days. 1 hour after the final injection of Triton WR-1339, Carthami Flos extracts were administered to rats 2ml/200g(p.o.). And after 24 hours, we measured the levels of serum total cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid and HDL-cholesterol. The results are summarized as follows. 1) Serum total cholesterol levlel of Sample group was significantly decreased compared with Control group(p<0.05). 2) Serum triglyceride level of Sample group was significantly decreased compared with Control group(p<0.01) 3) Serum phospholipid levlel of Sample group was significantly decreased compared with Control group(p<0.05). 4) Serum HDL-cholesterol level of Sample group was significantly increased compared with Control group(p<0.05).

  • This study was designed to investigate the hyperlipidemia-healing effect of liquid extract from Mageum-tang(麻芩湯), it was performed on the hyperlipidemia of rats induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339. We prepared two types of hyperlipidemia model in rats induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339. The amount of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL -cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid, free fatty acid, the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD), and glutathione were measured. The liquid extract from Mageum-tang showed significant decreasing effects on total cholesterol, LDL- cholesterol, triglyceride, phospholipid, free fatty acid in the both model. And it showed significant increasing effects on HDL-cholesterol, the activity of SOD in both model and amount of glutathione in Triton WR-1339 model. These results suggest that liquid extract from Mageum-tang has healing efficacy on hyperlipidemia induced by high cholesterol diet and Triton WR-1339.

Triton WR-1339 주사에 의한 고지혈증 유발시 간세포내 지방 축적에 관한 형태학적 연구 (Accumulation of Lipid Including Cholesterol in Murine Hepatocytes with Hyperlipidemia Induced by Triton WR-1339)

  • 본 실험은 Triton WR-1339를 생쥐에 복강주사한 후 시간의 경과에 따른 간조직의 일반적인 형태변화와 간세포내의 콜레스테롤을 비롯한 지방입자의 분포변화를 관찰하기 위해 시행되었다. Triton 주사 후 간조직에서 나타난 일반적인 형태변화는 48시간에서 그물구조의 세포질룰 가진 간세포가 간엽 전체에서 관찰되었고, 간세포 손상으로 인해 간세포판은 사라졌다. 간조직내의 지방분포변화는 triton주사 후 48시간에 전체 간엽에서 지방입자의 과출현을 확인할 수 있었으며, 지방입자의 크기도 대조군에 비해 큰 것으로 나타났다. 간조직내의 콜레스테롤입자의 분포 변화는 triton 주사 후 48시간에 콜레스테롤입자가 간엽전체에서 과출현하는 것이 관찰되었다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 triton 주사 후 지방대사이상에 의해 그 결과 간조직내에서 콜레스테롤를 비롯한 지방입자의 축적이 증가되는 고지혈증 병변이 유도된 것으로 사료된다.

Triton WR-1339로 유도된 고지혈증에 대한 Bacillus polyfermenticus KJS-2와 Bacillus mojavensis KJS-3의 예방효과 (The Preventive Effect of Bacillus polyfermenticus KJS-2 and Bacillus mojavensis KJS-3 on Triton WR-1339-induced Hyperlipidemia)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 Bacillus polyfermentricus KJS-2 (BP2)와 Bacillus mojavensis KJS-3 (Moja3) 및 이들 균주 복합물의 투여가 혈청 지질 수준을 조절할 수 있는지에 대한 가능성을 밝히기 위한 것이다. 고지질혈증 유발 설치류를 대상으로 균주를 2주 동안 경구 투여한 후 혈액 내 세포수준의 변화, 대사기능 평가, 혈중 지질 수준의 변화를 관찰하였다. 백혈구내 주요세포변화를 측정한 결과 균주 투여에 따른 혈중 백혈구(WBC) 수준에는 크게 영향을 미치지는 않았다. 단위 혈액 내 혈소판(PLT) 수치는 Triton WR-1339처리시 18.4% 감소하였고 약물투여그룹 및 균주 투여그룹에서 다시 정상 그룹 수준으로 회복되었다(p<0.05). Triton WR-1339로 유도된 고지혈증에 의해 적혈구의 기능적인 변화는 초래하지 않았다. 혈중 AST, ALT, BUN, Creatinine 수치는 혼합 균주투여 그룹에서 모두 회복하여 간기능, 신장기능에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 혈중 지질수준 변화는 미생물 균주 투여그룹에서 트리글리세라이드(TG)와 총콜레스테롤(TC) 혈청 수치가 감소했고, 혈청 HDL 콜레스테롤 수치는 증가했다. BP2가 생산하는 SMA의 HMG-CoA reductase 저해율은 atorvastatin에 비해 1,000배 낮은 농도에서 비슷한 활성을 보였다. 또한, 고지혈증 유발 설치류에 미생물 균주의 복합투여는 식이에 영향을 미치지 않으면서 체중증가율은 감소시켰다. 따라서 BP2와 Moja3 균주 복합투여시 혈청 지질 수치를 조절함으로써 혈액 순환을 개선시킬 수 있을 것이다.
