  • We are going to procedure various view from two frontal image using trifocal tensor. We found that warping is effective to produce synthesized poses of a face with the small number of mesh point of a given image in previous research[1]. For this research, fundamental matrix is important to calculate trifocal tensor. So, in this paper, we investigate two existing algorithms: Hartley's[2] and Kanatani's[3]. As an experimental result, Kenichi Kantani's algorithm has better performance of fundamental matrix than Harley's algorithm. Then we use the fundamental matrix of Kenichi Kantani's algorithm to calculate trifocal tensor. From trifocal tensor we calculate new trifocal tensor with rotation input and translation input and we use warping to produce new virtual views.

  • Background: We compared the efficacy between trifocal and bifocal diffractive intraocular lens (IOL) implantation. Methods: Through PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, and CENTRAL, we searched potentially relevant articles published from 1990 to 2018. Defocus curves, visual acuities (VAs) were measured as primary outcomes. Spectacle dependence, postoperative refraction, contrast sensitivity (CS), glare, and higher-order aberrations (HOAs) were measured as secondary outcomes. Effects were pooled using random-effects method. Results: We included 11 clinical trials, with a total of 787 eyes (395 subjects). The trifocal IOL group showed better binocular distance VA corrected with defocus levels of -0.5, -1.0, -1.5, and -2.5 diopter than the bifocal IOL group (All $P{\leq}0.004$). The trifocal IOL group showed better monocular uncorrected distance and intermediate VAs (mean difference [MD], -0.04 logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution [logMAR]; 95% confidence interval [CI], -0.07, -0.01; P = 0.006 and MD, -0.07 logMAR; 95% CI, -0.13, -0.01; P = 0.03, respectively). Postoperative refraction, glare, CS, and HOAs were not significantly different from each other. Conclusion: The overall findings indicate that trifocal diffractive IOL implantation is better than the bifocal diffractive IOL in intermediate VA, and provides similar or better in distance and near VAs without any major deterioration in the visual quality.

  • Even the adult cleft lip and palate patient who has not had timely treatment during the growth period, can be treated with orthodontic treatment without the necessity of orthognathic surgery if only the patient is treated under correct diagnosis and fitting appliances. Initially, maxillary arch form is established by constructing trifocal circles. Posterior region can be expanded and derotated laterally with pentahelix and anterior teeth are aligned with Tiggle brackets and "ㄷ"-shaped spring. Thereafter, anterior and posterior regions are consolidated. Mandibular intercanine width should be adjusted to maxillary intercanine width which was unavoidably reduced. Mandibular anterior tooth extraction will be helpful to attain proper mandibular intercanine width and better anterior dental showing.

  • In this paper, we propose an automatic displacement system for testing stability of structure. Photogrammetry is a method which can measure accurate 3D data from 2D images taken from different locations and which is suitable for analyzing and measuring the displacement of structure. This paper consists of camera calibration, feature extraction using coded target & retro-reflective circle, 3D reconstruction and analyzing accuracy. Multi-view camera which is used for measuring displacement of structure is placed with different location respectively. Camera calibration calculates trifocal tensor from corresponding points in images, from which Euclidean camera is calculated. Especially, in a step of feature extraction, we utilize sub-pixel method and pattern recognition in order to measure the accurate 3D locations. Scale bar is used as reference to measure. the accurate value of world coordinate..
