Long term water quality change was analyzed to evaluate the effect of the Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) policy. A trend analysis was performed for biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and total phosphorus (TP) concentrations data monitored at the outlets of the total 41 TMDL unit watersheds of the Nakdong River in the Republic of Korea. Because water quality data do not usually follow a normal distribution, a nonparametric statistical trend analysis method was used. The monthly mean values of BOD and TP for the period between 2004 and 2015 were analyzed by the seasonal Mann-Kendall test and the locally weighted scatterplot smoother (LOWESS). The TMDL policy effect on the water quality change of each unit watershed was analyzed together with the results of the trend analysis. From the seasonal Mann-Kendall test results, it was found that for BOD, 7.8 % of the 41 points showed downward trends, 26.8 % and the rest 65.9% showed upward and no trends. For TP, 51.2% showed no trends and the rest 48.8% showed downward trends. From the LOWESS analysis results, TP began to decrease in most of the unit watersheds from mid-2010s when intensive chemical treatment processes were introduced to existing wastewater treatment plants. Overall, for BOD, relatively more points were improved in the main stream compared to the points of the tributaries although overall trends were mostly no trend or upward. For TP, about half of the points were improved and the rest showed no trends.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to review topic and survey methodological trends in 'The Journal of Information Systems' in order to present the practical guidelines for the future IS research. By attempting to conduct a meta-analysis on both topic and survey methodological trends, this study could provide researchers wishing to pursue this line of work further with what can be done to improve IS disciplines. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we have reviewed 185 papers that were published in 'The Journal of Information Systems' from 2010 to 2018 and classified them based on topics studied and survey methodologies used. The classification guidelines, which was developed by Palvia et al.(2015), has been used to capture the topic trends. We have also employed Struab et al.(2004)s' guidelines for securing rigor of validation issues. By using two guidelines, this study could also present topic and rigor trends in 'The Journal of Information Systems' and compare them to those trends in International Journals. Findings Our findings have identified dominant research topics in 'The Journal of Information Systems'; 1) social media and social computing, 2) IS usage and adoption, 3) mobile computing, 4) electronic commerce/business, 5) security and privacy, 6) supply chain management, 7) innovation, 8) knowledge management, and 9) IS management and planning. This study also could offer researchers who pursue this line of work further practical guidelines on mandatory (convergent and discriminant validity, reliability, and statistical conclusion validity), highly recommended (common method bias testing), and optional validations (measurement invariance testing for subgroup analysis, bootstrapping methods for testing mediating effects).

The purpose of the study was to analyze trends of the previous interventions based studies in Korea to improve behavior problems of the children with EBD in order to suggest the research development and trends of future behavior intervention program as their behavior coping strategies. Therefore, it was analyzed 50 papers related to interventions of behaviors problems, published at the professional EBD journal from 2005 to 2009. The result suggested effective intervention factors, strategies, program & intervention trends, based on the results by factors. Previous researches in the study was comparatively analyzed by factors, such as the number, gender, age, and grade of subjects, and strategies, deliever, place of the intervention. The result of the study was analyzed the Previous researches based on the research subjects, research methods(subjects, research design, intervention delievers, intervention places, and intervention periods) and the type of intervention strategies included research procedures. The study results provided the foundation of the future intervention methods and the related program developments.

Objective: The aim of this study is to gain an overview of the ergonomic research trends in the shipbuilding industry. Background: The number of ergonomic studies on the shipbuilding industry has increased significantly in recent years. Method: Various ergonomic papers on the shipbuilding industry have been reviewed to find ergonomic research trends. Results: The tendency observed in these studies shows that the work-related musculoskeletal disorders(WMSDs) is the most important research subject in the shipbuilding industry. Conclusion: The previous studies, focused on the physical aspects of the work, are now replaced by studies such as organizational and psychophysical studies. Application: These results can be used to provide baseline information for ergonomic research in the shipbuilding industry.

본 연구의 목적은 문헌정보학 연구동향 및 연구방법론에 관련된 국내 연구들을 분석함으로서 앞으로의 국내 문헌정보학 연구방향을 제언하고자 한다. 이를 위한 분석 자료로 90년대 이후 문헌정보학의 연구동향 및 연구방법론에 관련된 10편의 국내 연구들을 선정하여 세 그룹으로 나눈 후 조사.분석한다. 분석결과 정보학 분야에 연구의 관심이 집중되고 문헌연구와 조사연구 등이 많이 사용된다. 주 연구자는 교수 그룹이며 학제간의 연구 및 여러 계층의 공동연구가 부족하다. 연구결과 기존의 연구방법뿐만 아니라 새로운 연구방법에 관한 논의와 다각적인 연구의 필요성이 요구된다. 또한 이러한 논의는 계속적으로 이루어져야 하며 문헌정보학 전문가를 위한 연구기반 지식의 개발과 문헌정보학의 연구기준의 필요성이 강조된다.

일반적으로 지역학 연구를 수행하는데 있어 연구 동향을 파악하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 그러나 지역학의 연구 분야는 매우 다양하며, 모든 지역학 연구 분야에 대한 연구가 동시에 진행되는 것은 매우 어렵다. 이로 인해 지역학연구는 시대에 따라 연구 분야 및 연구 동향이 변화 하였다. 이와 함께 지역학의 연구 동향을 이해하려는 관심이 꾸준히 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 국내의 지중해지역 연구를 대상으로 동시 출현 키워드를 기반으로 연구 동향을 분석한다. 이를 위하여 국내 지중해지역 연구의 대표 학술지인 『지중해지역연구』에 게재된 논문들을 대상으로 논문 유형 분석 및 키워드를 추출하여 정제 과정을 거쳐 동시 출현 키워드를 생성하였다. 세부적으로 논문의 유형 분석을 통해 기본적인 동향 분석을 수행하였고, 논문의 동시 출현 키워드를 이용하여 단순 정량 분석보다 심층적인 분석을 수행하고, 동시출현 키워드를 통해 생성된 네트워크 그래프 형태의 시각화를 통해 분석을 수행한다.

Trends of daily maximum and minimum temperatures in major cities of South Korea (Seoul, Busan, Incheon, Daegu, and Ulsan) during the past 40 years (1961-2000) were investigated. Temperature records for the Chupungryeong station were compared with those of the large cities because of the rural environment of the station. There were distinct warming trends at all stations, although the warming rates depend on each station's local climate and environment. The warming rates in Korea are much greater than the global warming trends, by a factor of 3 to 4. The most increasing rate in daily maximum temperature was at Busan with $0.43^{\circ}C$ per decade, the most increasing rate in daily minimum temperature was at Daegu with $0.44^{\circ}C$ per decade. In general, the warming trends of the cities were most pronounced in winter season with an increasing rate of $0.5^{\circ}C$/decade at least. Diurnal temperature range shows positive or negative trends according to the regional climate and environmental change. The frequency distribution of the daily temperatures for the past 40 years at Seoul and Chupungryeong shows that there have been reductions in cold day frequencies at both stations. The results imply that the impacts on human health might be positive in winter and adverse in summer if the regional warming scenario by the current regional climate model reflects future climate change in Korea.

The power grid has been changed to a smart grid system to satisfy the growing need for power grid complexity, demand, reliability, security, and efficiency with a combination of existing power and ICT technology. This study analyzes the research trends in smart grid technology in the period since the introduction of the smart grid system and compares it with industrial trends to grasp the progress and characteristics of Smart Grid technology and look for ways to innovate the technology. To do this, we analyze the research trends using dynamic topic modeling, which is capable of time-series research topic analysis. Next, we compare the results of research trends with industrial trends analyzed by Gartner's experts to demonstrate that smart grid research is evolving to the level of industrialization. The results of this study are quantitative analysis through data mining, and it is expected that it will be used in many fields such as companies that want to participate in industry and government agencies that need to establish policies by showing more objective analysis results.

The International Research Cooperation Information Center has carried out a project to collect the DBs related to the international research cooperation information, and build an online service system. This study seeks to examine and understand the trends of international research cooperation by analyzing the data corresponding to the other international cooperation DBs such as symposium and seminar, which may be said to be the arena of cooperation by the international research cooperation related experts, among the international research cooperation information DBs collected by the International Research Cooperation Information Center. The other international cooperation DBs are divided into the international cooperation consortium, international cooperation symposium, international research cooperation seminar, international training program, international research cooperation workshop, and the international research cooperation equipment / facility. It seems that, based on the research results, it is necessary to hold international cooperation programs, seminars, and workshops, among others, with a focus on the themes to recover the trends of international cooperation as in the past, and recover from the pandemic situation. The results of this study may be utilized as the basic data for the researchers related to the international research cooperation, and furthermore, by analyzing various international research cooperation information DBs in a multi-faceted manner, the studies analyzing the research trends of international research cooperation by field, subject, and type may be conducted, and the facilitation of the international research cooperation in Korea is expected moving forward.

In this paper, we analyze the current research technology trends through the literature reviews of technical outlines of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, domestic and overseas policy trends, etc. After analyzing the literature, we found out while the re-use and recycling of waste batteries and the in-wheel motor systems are essential areas for the development of electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, the related research is not quite sufficient, so the direction for further research is proposed at the conclusion.
