항공운송산업의 국민경제 파급효과 분석 (Estimating the Impacts of Air Transportation Industry on National Economy)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze how much Air Transportation Industry contribute to national economy by measuring economic spreading effects of Air Transportation Industry on national economy. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study uses an Air Transportation Input-Output Table of year 2000 of korea. The results shows that Air Transportation Industry induce 274,530.8 billion won of national production, import inducement 13,7073.7 billion won, value-added 110,994.9 billion won, especially Air Transportation Industry shows that production inducement coefficient is 1.36803, import inducement coefficient is 0.60581, value-added coefficient is 0.45189, income inducement coefficient is 0.18599 and employment inducement coefficient is 0.00841.

운수통신 서비스산업의 마크업 결정요인에 관한 실증분석 (Empirical Analysis of the Industrial Markup Determinants in the Transportation & Telecommunication Service Sector)

  • 한국경제에 있어서 운수통신 서비스 산업은 공공운수 등 공공부문과 민간부문이 동시에 공존하고 있다. 공공부문은 일반적으로 가격규제의 대상이 되며 적정수준의 정상이윤이 보장된다. 본 논문은 생산요소가격으로 구성된 마크업방정식을 설정하고 운수통신산업의 시계열 마크업을 추정하였다. 또한 자기회귀 시차모형을 이용하여 마크업의 생산요소가격 탄력성을 추정하고 마크업의 결정요소를 분석하였다. 실증분석결과, 마크업의 임금탄력도는 -0.07, 수입가격 탄력도는 -0.45 그리고 이자율탄력도는 -0.13으로 추정되었다. 따라서 본 논문은 운수통신산업의 규제정책에 있어서 수입가격과 이자율이 고려되어야 할 주요 변수임을 밝히고 있다.

충주지역의 기계류 산업동향 통계분석 (Statistical Analysis of Mechanical Parts Industry in Chungju Region)

  • The strategic industry in Chungbuk province is the electric and electronic related industry. In the Chnugju region, the trend of major industry have change from the electric and electronic related industry to mechanical parts and components related industry include manufacturing of automobile and transportation. In this paper, we perform statistical analysis using the micro data service provided by the Statistics Korea, The CAGR of the number of employee and value-added value in the electric and electronic related industry during past 7 years are -7.1% and -13.2%, respectively while the CAGR in the mechanical parts related industry are 14.4% and 22.9%, respectively. However, value-added value per value of shipment of the mechanical related industry is lower than that of the electric and electronic related industry.

  • The objective of this paper is to identify the problems of Korean inland transportation system and suggest the improvement plan for reducing the export logistics cost. The results are as follows: (1) Expansion of logistics hub facilities : Logistics hub facilities- integrated freight terminal and ICD, etc. can shorten the empty leg and reduce the logistics cost. (2) Design for CVO(Commercial Vehicle Operations) : CVO has various functions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of freight transportation. (3) Rationalization of freight transportation industry : In particular, the deregulation of the motor freight industry and the privatization of the railway industry induce the competition among their firms and undercut the transportation rates in the long run. (4) Use of third-party logistics : The benefits of TPL are system reliability, improved customer service, and more efficient cost performance.

육상운송산업 성장의 광역권 경제성장에 대한 효과 분석 (Effect of Land Transport Industry Growth on Economic Growth in Korean Metropolitan Regions)

  • This study aims to identify the effect of growth of the land transportation industry on economic growth and to provide implications for Korea's metropolitan region policy. The effect of each metropolitan region on the integrated region where each metropolitan region is integrated is as follows. First, The integrated region where each metropolitan region was integrated with the Southeast region and the Daegyeong region had the greatest economic growth effect due to the growth of the land transportation industry in terms of value added, but the effect of the integrated region with the Chungcheong region was the least. In the case of capital such as roads, the integrated metropolitan regions with the Chungcheong region showed the greatest economic effect. However, the impact of the integrated regions with Jeolla region and the Seoul metropolitan region is insignificant. These results suggest that the synergy effect of metropolitan regional integration by spillover effect such as networks should be considered in the land transportation industry policy.

  • 국내 화물자동차운송시장은 공급과잉이라는 열악한 경영환경에 직면해 있을 뿐만 아니라 화물운송과정에 있어서 심각한 구조적 문제를 안고 있다. 이러한 요인들은 국내 화물자동차운송산업의 경쟁력을 약화시키고 관련산업의 발전을 저해하는 결과를 초래하고 있다. 특히 최근 한국경제의 침체와 화물자동차운임하락 등의 문제는 화물자동차 운수사업자들의 생계를 위협하고 있다. 한국 정부 및 국회는 화물자동차운수사업법의 개정을 통해 이러한 문제를 정책적으로 해결하고자 노력하고 있다. 개정법률안의 핵심적 내용 중의 하나는 화물자동차운송정보망 사용의 의무화이다. 본 논문에서는 화물자동차운송정보망의 구축전략을 개념적으로 제시하고 4가지 수요 시나리오를 가정하여 정보망사업에 대한 경제적타당성 분석을 수행하였다. 분석결과 화물정보망의 구축은 각 화물자동차운송사업자들의 유형별로 전국적 기반하에서 각각 구축하는 것보다는 화물자동차운송사업자들이 공동으로 지역별로 구축하는 것이 보다 효과적으로 나타났다. 이러한 공동 정보망 구축시 투자 타당성은 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Environment Change of Marine Transportation and Inter-related Development of Shipping and Shipbuilding Industries in Korea

  • Environment of marine transportation market is changing rapidly. Due to globalization of world economy, marine transportation of cargos, especially trade using container boxes, is increasing dramatically. Fierce competition in the global market of container transportation forces the shipping industry to seek the economy of scale to reduce transportation cost, and drives the merge and alliance of liner shipping companies. Mega-sized container ships, having capacity over 10,000 TEU, were introduced, and appeared recently, in order to reduce the unit transportation cost. Korean shipping and shipbuilding companies are competitive, and have considerable market share in the global market. Even though both industries are inter-connected through ships and have many common interests in order to enlarge the global market share, inter-relation between two industries is surprisingly insignificant. In this paper current issues in the process of environmental change of marine cargo transportation are reviewed, and inter-relation of shipping and shipbuilding industries is discussed. Suggestions for inter-related development of Korean shipping and shipbuilding industries are given, and means for mutually beneficial collaboration are suggested.

초저온 방사성의약품 운송시스템 개발 (Development of Cryogenic Radiopharmaceutical Transport System)

  • Radiopharmaceuticals that need to be transported in a low-temperature state must satisfy both radiation safety and proper temperature maintenance. However, an efficient transport system considering the characteristics of radiopharmaceuticals that require low temperature maintenance has not yet existed. In order to secure a transportation system for the safe and stable transportation of the radiopharmaceutical 131I mIBG, which requires transportation in cryogenic conditions, we have developed a transportation system that can maintain cryogenic conditions below -60℃ for 6 days while stably fixing the inner container. In addition, by applying a data logger that can simultaneously measure the temperature and the dose of radiation, safety and stability in the transportation process can be secured at the same time. The cryogenic transportation system for 131I mIBG will be applied to products currently being supplied, and we expect to dramatically improve the management of cold chain radioactive material transportation.

  • The trends of economic business environment have been changed to the ultimate competion, diverse market and need of new technology. To enforce the international competitive power, continuous technology innovation should be propelled. But the characteristics of small and medium company make it hard to get lead of market share. The industry of transportation and stevedoring machinery also have the same situation as small and medium company. This paper try to present the way of competitive power. The Strategic technology innovation for the industry of transportation and stevedoring machinery consists of product strategy, process design strategy, infra-structure strategy and R&D. There are benefits and shortcommings to get the competitive power for the industry of transportation and stevedoring machinery. Therefore the onclusion presented that capital for reverse engineering, export policy, human resource, thechnical cooperation with the institutions are required.

GPE 블록의 연안운송시 안전성 평가를 위한 영향인자 (Influence Factors for the Safety Assessment on the GPE Blocks during On-shore Transportation)

  • Great number of ships has been built by Korean Shipyards since early of 2,000 due to the expanding worldwide trade. Most of shipyards have enlarged the weight of erection block and many blocks have been assembled in block fabrication factories outside the shipyards to reduce the shipbuilding period. Especially, Giga blocks that exceed 2,000 tons are often assembled by the block fabrication factories outside the shipyard. Generally, the blocks are transported to building dock in shipyard by towing barges. Accident can be occurred during the sea transportation and it may bring about not only the delay of delivery but also a disaster on the ocean environments. Transportation condition of GPE (Grand Pre-Erection) block differs from the ocean going conditions of marine vessels. Special consideration should be included before transportation work in order to guarantee the safety of GPE blocks and barge carriers. In this paper, several examples, which have been investigated to set up the safety standard of transportation of the GPE blocks on coastal routes, are introduced. For the barge transportation on coastal sea route, the design criteria are discussed, considering the design wave, the acceleration induced by wave, structural strength, and the fixture condition of blocks.
