  • 온실가스로 인한 세계 기후 변화가 심각해지고 있다. 이를 방지하기 위해 세계 각국에서는 온실가스 배출 규제를 하고 있다. 국내는 온실가스 배출량을 2030년까지 BAU(Business As Usual) 대비 37% 감축하기로 하였다. 국내 온실가스 배출 비중 중 교통부문이 18.58%에 해당하는 데 그중 도로가 93.75%에 해당하는 대부분의 수치를 기록했다. 대중교통 또한 온실가스 감축 대상에 포함되는데 본 연구는 도로 교통 중 비용이 상대적으로 적게 들면서 온실가스 감량을 할 수 있는 버스 대중교통의 온실가스 감축을 위해 진행했다. 본 연구는 애니 로직을 활용하여 온실가스 시뮬레이션 모델을 구현해 버스의 배차 간격을 조정하여 승객의 대기시간 대비 최적의 온실가스 배출량을 예측하는 시뮬레이션을 진행했다. 향후 더욱 정밀한 모델을 구현한다면 버스 온실가스 감축에 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스는 자율주행 버스와 실시간 수요대응형 버스의 단점을 상쇄시킨 미래교통수단이다. 하지만 버스 기능의 고도화로 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스 도입 시 영향에 관한 정량화된 연구는 활발하지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 강화학습 기반 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스를 미시적 교통 시뮬레이션에 적용하여 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스의 정량화된 효과평가를 실시하였다. 구체적으로 수요 변화에 따라 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스가 도로 네트워크에 끼치는 영향과 이용자 대기시간을 미시적 시뮬레이션 안에서 구현하였다. 시뮬레이션 대상지로는 한국교통대학교 인근을 선정하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과, 실시간 수요대응형 자율주행 버스는 기존 노선 고정형 버스 대비 이용자 대기시간과 평균제어지체는 감소하였고, 평균통행속도는 증가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 실시간 수요대응형 버스의 도입을 정량적으로 평가하는 것이 기대된다.

  • When transporting multiple items by trucks of various size, one needs to assign a group of items to each truck so as to minimize the total cost, while meeting the weight and volume constraint of each truck. In this paper, we formulate the problem as an integer programming problem and propose four heuristic algorithms for the problem. Computer simulation is used to evaluate the average performance of the four heuristic algorithms for the consolidated transportation problem.

Evaluation of a Fungal Spore Transportation in a Building under Uncertainty

  • A fungal spore transportation model that accounts for the concentration of airborne indoor spores and the amount of spores deposited on interior surfaces has been developed by extending the current aerosol model. This model is intended to be used for a building with a mechanical ventilation system, and considers HVAC filter efficiency and ventilation rate. The model also includes a surface-cleaning efficiency and frequency that removes a portion of spores deposited on surfaces. The developed model predicts indoor fungal spore concentration and provides an indoor/outdoor ratio that may increase or decrease mold growth risks in real, in-use building cases. To get a more useful outcome from the model simulation, an uncertainty analysis has been conducted in a real building case. By including uncertainties associated with the parameters in the spore transportation model, the simulation results provide probable ranges of indoor concentration and indoor/outdoor ratio. This paper describes the uncertainty quantification of each parameter that is specific to fungal spores, and uncertainty propagation using an appropriate statistical technique. The outcome of the uncertainty analysis showed an agreement with the results from the field measurement with air sampling in a real building.

  • Companies are reluctant to disclose information because of trade secret and corporate identity For the same reasons, logistics companies do not want to operate in the form of a community In urban areas, the loading of vehicles is 100% as the quantity of goods transported is too much. In mountain areas, however, the load condition of the vehicle is not 100% because of the low quantity of goods transported Therefore, the transportation costs will increase as the cost of transport increase, the competitiveness of firms will also decline In this paper, we studied a simulation to measure driving time and volume of cargo according to the change of the quantity of goods transported in the mountain area According to the research results, we got a conclusion that the proposed method makes the operation time be less and the volume of cargo increase compared with the existing operation method.

  • In December 2002, International Maritime Organization (IMO) has adopted the Resolution MSA.137(76) Standards for the Ship Maneuverability. For applying the standards, we have to estimate and evaluate the Maneuverability of a ship at the design stage in difference of trim and displacement as accurate as possible. In this paper, the effect of loading condition on the ship Maneuverability was investigated through 3 methods : numerical simulation, free running model ship and real ship data.. Firstly, We carried out numerical simulation, free running model ship experiments and real ship experiments at ballast condition, half loaded condition and full loaded condition with difference of trim.. Secondly, by comparing these results of 3 methods, we draw out the trend of ship Maneuverability due to the change of trim and displacement of a ship.

  • The objectives of this paper are to study the effect of key parameters on the cycle performance and capacity and to estimate the cost of latent and sensible energy transportation systems. The overall conductance (UA) of each component, the ambient temperature and the absorber inlet temperature are considered the key parameters. It is concluded that COP of the solution transportation using an absorption system (STA) at ambient temperature is 10% higher than that of the conventional sensible system. It is also found that the cost of STA system can be reduced 7.5 times to that of sensible energy transportation for one year of operation with 10 km transportation distance.

  • To solve the policy problem between transportation and environment in trade-offs, above all, it is necessary to understand the complicated relationship between transportation and environment clearly before selecting policy alternatives. From this point of view, this study will propose the logic structure to examine the complex interaction of transportation and environment and investigate theoretically what kinds of impact would appear by the air related polices. In this research, we used ’system-dynamics’ which investigates the complexity through the flow of information and materials and the interaction of elements, which constitutes systems. System Dynamics is an approach that the variables to decide structural relationship in a system affect one another not in only-way but in inter-way and the power of influence changes time by time. This research is trying to examine the complex interaction of transportation and air pollution. For achieving this purpose, causal maps in System Dynamics approach were used. The main issues are as follows; first, to investigate the dynamic relationship between transportation and air pollution caused by exhaust emission gas. Second, to structuralize the logic of simulation to experiment the impacts of policies to relieve air pollution.

The motion rule of sand particles under control of the sand transportation engineering

  • In the desert and Gobi regions with strong wind and large sediment discharge, sand transporting engineering is more effective than sand blocking and sand fixing measures in sand prevention. This study uses the discrete phase model of 3D numerical simulation to study the motion trail, motion state and distribution rule of sand particles with different grain diameters when the included angle between the main shaft of the feather-row lateral transportation sand barrier and the wind direction changes, and conducts a comparison in combination with the wind tunnel test and the flow field rule of common sand barrier. According to the comparison, when wind-sand incoming flow passes through a feather-row sand barrier, sand particles slow down and deposit within the deceleration area under the resistance of the feather-row sand barrier, move along the transportation area formed by the transportation force, and accumulate as a ridge at the tail of the engineering. With increasing wind speed, the eolian erosion of the sand particles to the ground and the feather-row sand barrier is enhanced, and the sand transporting quantity and throw-over quantity of the feather-row sand barrier are both increased. When sand particles with different grain diameters bypass the feather-row sand barrier, the particle size of the infiltrating sands will increase with the included angle between the main shaft of the feather-row sand barrier and the wind direction. The obtained result demonstrates that, at a constant wind speed, the flow field formed is most suitable for the lateral transportation of the wind-drift flow when the included angle between the main shaft of the feather-row sand barrier lateral transportation engineering and the wind speed is less than or equal to $30^{\circ}$.

저고도 무인기 교통관리 체계에서 무인기 비행패턴 분류 및 시뮬레이션 모형 개발 (Study on UAV Flight Patterns and Simulation Modelling for UTM)

  • 본 논문에서는 저고도 무인기 교통관리 체계에서 운용될 무인기의 사용 용도별로 비행패턴을 분석하였고, 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 무인기 비행패턴은 감시형, 선회형, 배송형 패턴으로 분류하였으며, 무인기 사용 용도별로는 농업, 시설 점검, 공공안전 및 보안, 물품 배송으로 총 네 가지 경우를 고려하였다. 또한 저고도 무인기 교통관리 체계에 적용할 공역 운용방식을 검증하기 위한 도구로써 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 개발된 시뮬레이션 모형을 감시형 비행패턴에 적용해 보았으며, 그 결과 정해진 입력을 받아 주어진 비행패턴을 그리며 비행하는 것을 확인 및 검증하였다. 본 시뮬레이션 모형은 향후 무인기가 다양한 비행패턴을 그리며 해당 용도에 맞게 안전하고 효율적으로 운항할 수 있는지 검증하는데 사용될 예정이다.
