  • 첨단융합건설연구단은 건설교통부와 건설교통기술평가원의 지원을 받아 건설기술과 미래 성장 신기술의 융합을 통하여 차세대 국가 성장동력을 확보하는 비전을 가지고 2005년 9월 30일 출범하였다. 연구단의 목표는 이러한 비전을 실현시키기 위하여 첨단기술과 건설기술의 체계적인 융합연구를 위한 기술개발시스템을 구축하는데 있고, 그 업무 범위는 기획, 설계, 시공, 유지관리를 포함하는 건설프로젝트의 원가, 시간, 품질, 안전에 관한 성과향상을 위한 기술 개발에 있다. 건설혁신로드맵의 출현과 더불어 새로운 역할을 부여받고 있는 첨단융합건설연구단은 21세기 초일류 국가로 나가기위한 새로운 건설기술시스템 창출에 일익을 담당할 것으로 기대된다.

  • Recently in the construction business construction companies has been ordered to survive in the terriblly competitive environment. Aa a result, most of the project with low-priced contract needs a speedy progress during all construction period. For the last five years major incident frequently occurs and results in the death of 189 workers at major top 6 construction builders. In most recent 10 years, the cause of major incidents happened in construction company is the speedy construction work that is affecting on the safety management. To prevent these accidents in the speedy construction work, four factors were chosed and analysed such as the personnel/organization, the working budget, the subcontractor selection and the employee motivation. The head office taked the support plan and tested it at the pilot work site. It showed a reduced accident and the harmful factors can be eliminated. It should be able to apply to the field to secure safety and prevent accidents.

아세안 대상 ITS 표준화 협력 서비스분야 연구 (A Study on ITS Standardization Cooperation Service Field Study for ASEAN Countries)

  • 본 논문에서는 ITS 분야의 한국의 표준화 역량을 점검하였으며, 아시안 국가들의 ITS 표준화 참여 및 서비스 현황과 한국과의 협력 희망정도를 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과 한국은 ITS 표준화 분야에서 국제적인 역량을 인정받고 있으며, 싱가포르를 제외한 아세안 대부분의 국가들은 ITS 표준화 참여도와 서비스 도입이 미진한 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 아세안 대부분의 나라들이 한국과 ITS 표준화 협력을 희망하고 있으며, 우선적으로 ITS 표준화의 기반인 ITS 시스템 아키텍처 구축을 선호하는 것으로 파악되었다. 또한 표준화 도입 서비스분야로는 아세안 국가 간 물류운송 효율성 제고 등을 고려하여 화물 운송 분야가 우선 적용 서비스 분야로 제시되었다.

  • 국토해양부는 신호교차로 서비스수준 분석에 도로용량편람이 제시하는 방법의 적용을 장려하고 있으며 실시간신호제어교차로는 지능형교통체계 구축사업으로 그 숫자가 현장에서 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 도로용량편람은 정주기식 신호교차로 서비스수준 분석방법에 국한하여 제시하고 있어 현장 실무자들은 실시간신호제어교차로 서비스수준 분석에 어려움을 경험하고 있다. 본 연구는 도로용량편람 수준에서 실시간신호제어교차로 서비스수준 분석의 기초가 되는 방법론을 제안하며 향후 추가로 수행되어야 하는 개발방향을 검토한다. 한 개의 신호교차로를 표본으로 세부 요소모형들을 간이 개발하여 검증한 결과 제안된 방법은 실제 현장 자료와 유사한 수준의 서비스 수준을 추정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Currently, it has been a fashion to include RAMS of rolling stock in the order for purchasing the rolling stock. However, it's only to suggest a qualitative value or an ideal target without giving or demonstrating actual RAMS target, with only demonstrating passive RAMS by the data provided by the manufacturer. In the case of KTX project of 100 cars of KTX-II contracted in June 2006, their target has been suggested from the previous RAMS application standard and it aimed to achieve the reliability level of equivalent high speed rolling stock. Afterward, as actual KTX-II RAMS Plan and RAMS Demonstration Plan has been prepared and approved, it has been the first problem to secure the reliability and safety in order to introduce the new high speed rolling stock(KTX-II) successfully and we actually tried to apply overseas RAMS standard, KTX samples, electric railcar MTRC and rolling stock samples. This Report was dealt world trends of Railway RAMS standard, KTX-II RAMS Specifications, the present condition of KTX-II RAMS performance and development a way of KTX-II RAMS, We hope the "KTX-II RAMS Application Standard for Safety of Passenger Transportation Service" is served as an opportunity for the basic research for establishing and demonstrating RAMS target of components or parts composing the rolling stock system.

드론택시의 개발현황 및 경제적 파급효과 분석 (A Study on the Development Status and Economic Impacts of Drone Taxis)

  • The development status was studied to predict the concept of how drone taxis would be presented in daily life. the results of the analysis on traffic effects of drone taxis showed that they would be an innovative transportation option that could reach a distance of 60km, which would typically take an hour by car, within twenty minutes. Moreover, the economic analysis of existing aircraft development was limited to production (development investment) of the input budget. However, since the drone taxi is a new transportation system, an overall traffic platform, such as its own terminals, would need to be established. So, the production inducement effect was analyzed by dividing input budget into three factors; production, infrastructure, and service. The results indicate this to be an innovative project expected to have an economic ripple effect and reach a total of 24 trillion won after an investment of 13 trillion won (production + infrastructure + service) in Korea from 2020 to 2040.

  • 한국의 수소경제 활성화 로드맵에 의하면 2040년 526만톤의 연간 수소공급이 필요하며 이 중 해외 생산부분이 50%를 담당해야 할 것으로 설정하였으나 부생, 추출, 수전해 방식의 수소공급이 원활하지 않을 경우 해외 생산 비중이 당초 계획보다 증가될 수 있다. 따라서 국외 생산분에 대해 다양한 공급원의 확보가 필수적이며, 본 기술보고에서는 주요 공급후보국인 캐나다의 수소생산/수송 정책, 현황, 향후 전망에 대해 살펴보고 가장 현실적인 수소공급 방법으로 여겨지는 블루수소 프로젝트의 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

Experimental research on vertical mechanical performance of embedded through-penetrating steel-concrete composite joint in high-temperature gas-cooled reactor pebble-bed module

  • The high-temperature gas-cooled reactor pebble-bed module project is the first commercial Generation-IV NPP(Nuclear Power Plant) in China. A new joint is used for the vertical support of RPV(Reactor Pressure Vessel). The steel corbel is integrally embedded into the reactor-cabin wall through eight asymmetrically arranged pre-stressed high-strength bolts, achieving the different path transmission of shear force and moment. The vertical monotonic loading test of two specimens is conducted. The results show that the failure mode of the joint is bolt fracture. There is no prominent yield stage in the whole loading process. The stress of bolts is linearly distributed along the height of corbel at initial loading. As the load increases, the height of neutral axis of bolts gradually decreases. The upper and lower edges of the wall opening contact the corbel plate to restrict the rotation of the corbel. During the loading, the pre-stress of some bolts decreases. The increase of the pre-stress strength ratio of bolts has no noticeable effect on the structure stiffness, but it reduces the ultimate bearing capacity of the joint. A simplified calculation model for the elastic stage of the joint is established, and the estimation results are in good agreement with the experimental results.

Comparison of Asset Management Approaches to Optimize Navigable Waterway Infrastructure

  • An estimated investment gap of $176 billion needs to be filled over the next ten years to improve America's inland waterway transportation systems. Many of these infrastructure systems are now beyond their original 50-year design life and are often behind in maintenance due to funding constraints. Therefore, long-term maintenance strategies (i.e., asset management (AM) strategies) are needed to optimize investments across these waterway systems to improve their condition. Two common AM strategies include policy-driven maintenance and performance-driven maintenance. Currently, limited research exists on selecting the optimal AM approach for managing inland waterway transportation assets. Therefore, the goal of this study is to provide a decision model that can be used to select the optimal alternative between the two AM approaches by considering key uncertainties such as asset condition, asset test results, and asset failure. We achieve this goal by addressing the decision problem as a single-criterion problem, which calculates each alternative's expected value and certain equivalence using allocated monetary values to determine the recommended alternative for optimally maintaining navigable waterways. The decision model considers estimated and predicted values based on the current state of the infrastructure. This research concludes that the performance-based approach is the optimal alternative based on the expected value obtained from the analysis. This research sets the stage for further studies on fiscal constraints that will effectively optimize these assets condition.

Investigating the Maintenance Cost of Rest Areas: A Case Study of Nevada

  • Highway Rest Areas are envisioned to provide an accessible space for rest and parking for travelers, especially those driving a long distance. In addition, modern highway Rest Areas provide many amenities to highway users, including wifi service, picnic tables, litter barrels, running water, public telephones, and sometimes even free coffee. Various studies were conducted in the domain of Rest Area facility design and their operating costs in different states; however, limited studies were conducted on the maintenance costs of these facilities. Therefore, this study's main objective is to compute the annual maintenance cost of Rest Areas in the state of Nevada. This study also analyzes the main cost categories of the maintenance works. The raw cost data of Nevada Rest Area maintenance from 1990 to 2012 were collected from the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT). Results show that the maintenance cost fluctuated over the study period; the maintenance cost decreased from 1991 to 2004 and then increased until 2012. The primary cost categories of maintenance work are labor, equipment, and material costs. Among these, labor cost was the largest category with 56 percent of the total maintenance cost, followed by equipment cost and material cost. The findings of this study may help NDOT and other transportation agencies plan their budget for future Rest Area maintenance activities.
