한국의 교통계정 개발과 적용에 관한 연구 - 도로교통과 철도교통을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Development and Application of the Transport Accounts in Korea)

  • 본 논문은 우리 실정에 맞고 국제비교에도 활용할 수 있는 국가차원의 교통계정 기본틀을 제시하였다. 기본틀은 비용 수입항목과 산정 방법론으로 구성되어 있다. 그리고 제시된 우리나라의 교통계정을 적용해본 결과, 국내총생산 대비 도로교통의 총비용은 유럽보다 3.23% 높은 것으로 나타났고 철도교통의 총비용은 유럽보다 0.67% 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 도로교통과 철도교통의 단위당 비용을 비교한 결과, 여객의 인-km당 도로교통 비용이 철도교통 비용의 약 4.8배, 화물의 톤-km당 도로교통 비용은 철도교통 비용의 약 2.4배로 나타났다.

Embodied Energy and $CO_2$ Emissions Evaluation for Freight Transport

  • This study aim at demonstrating the environmental performance of freight transport of the rail and road mode through an indicator of embodied energy and $CO_2$ emissions. Using the concept of LCA, the scope of evaluation includes energy production, supply chain activity and operation. The results of embodied energy and $CO_2$ emissions are normalized by means of traffic volume. The results shown that embodied $CO_2$ emissions road mode is 607.07 $gCO_2-eq./tkm$ and 284.67 $gCO_2-eq./tkm$ for road and rail mode, respectively. This number reveals that road mode is 2.1 times larger than rail mode. The results also indicate that the main contribution of $CO_2$ emission from road mode is in the operation stage, which accounts for 70%; however, it is the construction and supply chain stage that accounts for over 50% of the emission of rail mode.

Factors Affecting Financial Risk: Evidence from Listed Enterprises in Vietnam

  • This paper analyzes factors affecting enterprise's financial risk listed on the Vietnam stock market. The panel data of research sample includes 524 non-financial listed enterprises on the Vietnam stock market for a period of eleven years, from 2009 to 2019. The Generalized Least Square (GLS) is employed to address econometric issues and to improve the accuracy of the regression coefficients. In this research, financial risk is measured by the Alexander Bathory model. Debt structure, Solvency, Profitability, Operational ability, Capital structure are independent variables in the study. Firm Size, firm age, growth rate are control variables. The model results show that in order to prevent and limit financial risk for enterprises listed on the Vietnam Stock Market, attention should be paid to variables reflecting Liability structure ratio, Quick Ratio, Return on Assets, Total asset turnover, Accounts receivable turnover, Net assets ratio and Fixed assets ratio. The empirical results show that there are differences in the impact of these factors on the financial risk in state-owned enterprises and non-state enterprises listed on the Vietnam stock market. The findings of this article are useful for business administrators, helping business managers make the right financial decisions to improve the efficiency of financial risk management in enterprises.

연무와 연관된 동아시아의 종관기상 특성 (Characteristics of East Asia Synoptic Meteorological Conditions in Association with Haze phenomena)

  • In an effort to investigate the characteristics of synoptic meteorological conditions in association with long-range transport of haze phenomena occurred over Korea, we statistically classified characteristics of haze events into two types of haze: stagnant case and long-range transport case, based on the synoptic meteorological parameters, and analyze comparatively the characteristics of synoptic meteorological conditions for each case. The results showed that the occurrence frequency of stagnant case accounts for 64.5%, showing superiority of stagnant haze cases over the long-range transport case which occupies only 35.5% among total 67 cases for the period from 2000 to 2007. This result indicates that haze phenomena occurred over Korea has influenced by not only the emission in Korea by itself but long range transport effects originating from China inland. The synoptic condition on 850hPa level showed that, when stagnant case occurred, Korean peninsula was located under the effects of negative vorticity with the significantly weak wind speed and stable atmospheric condition. In contrast, long-range transport case shows positive vorticity and relatively strong wind speed over 850hPa level, especially with the location of high pressure system over the area of southwestern China. This location of high pressure system implies to induce the westerlies or northwesteries consistently due to its pressure gradient by itself. Also other comparative studies haze days (vs.) Asian dust days are carried out, and we found out that the patterns of long-range transport of haze phenomena in Korea shows similar to Asian dust case but the static stability condition indicates more stabilized atmospheric condition than dust phenomena.

  • Quantitative assessment on the impact from North Korean emissions to surface particulate matter(PM) concentration in the Seoul Metropolitan Area (SMA), South Korea is conducted using a 3-dimensional chemistry transport model. Transboundary transport of air pollutants and their precursors are important to understand regional air quality in East Asian countries. As North Korea locates in the middle of main transport pathways of Chinese pollutants, quantifiable estimation of its impact is essential for policy making in South Korean air quality management. In this study, the Community Multiscale Air Quality Modeling System is utilized to simulate regional air quality and its sensitivity, using the Comprehensive Regional Emissions inventory for Atmospheric Transport Experiment 2015 and the Clean Air Policy Support System 2013 emissions inventories for North and South Korea, respectively. Contributions were estimated by a brute force method, perturbing 50% of North and South Korean emissions. Simulations demonstrate that North Korean emissions contribute $3.89{\mu}g/m^3$ of annual surface PM concentrations in the SMA, which accounts 14.7% of the region's average. Impacts are dominant in nitrate and organic carbon (OC) concentrations, attributing almost 40% of SMA OC concentration during January and February. Clear seasonal variations are also found in North Korean emissions contribution to South Korea (and vice versa) due to seasonal characteristics of synoptic weather, especially by the change of seasonal flow patterns.

환승통행과 토지이용의 연관성 분석 (Exploring the Relationship between Transfer Trips and Land Use)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 서울시의 환승통행 특성을 분석하고 토지이용이 환승통행에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시의 2013년 4월 평일 하루치 교통카드자료를 이용하여 환승통행의 일반적인 특성을 분석하고, 토지이용과 사회경제지표 등을 독립변수로 고려한 환승통행량의 다중선형 회귀모형을 구축하였다. 환승통행특성의 경우, 환승통행이 전체 통행의 26.7%를 차지하였으며, 이 중 1회 환승한 경우가 86.4%로 대부분이었다. 또한 버스-지하철간 환승이 64.7%로 큰 비중을 차지하였며, 주로 지하철 역 및 업무시설이 다수 위치하는 곳에서 환승통행이 많이 발생하였다. 회귀모형 구축 결과, 업무시설면적비율 및 백화점시설의 면적비가 높거나 복합토지이용도가 높은 지역일수록 환승통행량이 많아지는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 복합환승센터와 같이 도시 내 환승통행을 고려하는 교통시설의 입지 선정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

AFC기반 수도권 지하철 네트워크 통행지표 정확도 향상 방안 (Accuracy Improvement of the Transport Index in AFC Data of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Network)

  • 수도권 지하철 AFC자료는 승객의 환승정보가 누락되어 있다. AFC자료는 통행수, 통행시간 및 통행거리의 통행지표를 TagIn 단말기ID를 기준으로 할당한다. 따라서 AFC자료는 승객의 실제 통행궤적을 반영하지 못하며, 이는 통행지표 추정의 오류로 작용되고 있다. 본 연구는 TagIn 및 TagOut 단말기ID를 연결하는 통행경로 파악을 통하여 통행지표를 산정하는 방법론을 제안한다. 이를 위해 승객은 차내시간, 환승보행시간, 배차간격을 고려한 최소통행시간경로를 통행한다고 가정한다. 이 방법은 승객이 이동한 통행궤적을 따라 환승을 반영하기 때문에 승객이 이동한 경로에 포함된 지하철 운영기관의 통행관련자료가 통행지표에 정확하게 반영된다. 제안된 방법론은 기존 AFC자료보다 1.47배가 증가한 통행을 산정하여 교통정책을 위한 지표산정방안으로 평가될 수 있음을 보여준다.

Defect Chemistry of the Mixed Conducting Cage Compound Ca12Al14O33

  • The electrical transport properties of mayenite ($Ca_{12}Al_{14}O_{33}$ or $12CaO{\cdot}7Al_2O_3$; mostly abbreviated as $C_{12}A_7$) can be controlled in a wide range by varying the oxygen deficiency: At high temperatures mayenite becomes either an oxygen solid electrolyte, a mixed ionic/electronic conductor or an inorganic electride with metal-like properties upon chemical reduction (removing oxygen). The underlying defect chemistry can be understood on the basis of a relatively simple model-despite the complex cage structure: A point defect model based on the assumption that the framework $[Ca_{12}Al_{14}O_{32}]^{2+}$ acts as a pseudo-donor describes well the high temperature transport properties. It accounts for the observed conductivity plateau at higher oxygen activities and also describes the experimentally observed oxygen activity dependence of the electronic conductivity with -1/4 slope at temperatures between 800 and $1000^{\circ}C$. Doping effects in mayenite are still not well explored, and we review briefly the existing data on doping by different elements. Hydration of mayenite plays a crucial role, as Mayenite is hygroscopic, which may be a major obstacle for technical applications.

  • It is a proven fact with the opening of the Seoul metro line number 1 in 1974 traffic congestion on the roads has decreased and the efficiency of people transportation in general has greatly been enhanced in the downtown and surrounding areas of Seoul. Even today construction of new subway lines are under way and many more are being planned due to the easy access to stations, short waiting and average travel times, compared with personal vehicles, contributing to the efficiency of the public transportation systems that are linking the downtown areas and also the intercity systems in moving passengers during rush hour and times of special event. Since the labour costs of the train operator in any large city based subway system accounts for a major part of the operating costs per kilometer and to ensure cost efficient operations, especially during non-peak hours, it is necessary to implement an unmanned(auto-driven) subway system. In order to implement such a system it is imperative that the on-board and wayside signalling control systems be fully automated as well. Only through proper examination of safety procedures not only by the AUGT(Automated Urban Guided Transport)system but also by ail the international standards organizations involved can safely and stability be ensured.

Differential Localisation of PARP-1 N-Terminal Fragment in PARP-1+/+ and PARP-1-/- Murine Cells

  • Human PARP family consists of 17 members of which PARP-1 is a prominent member and plays a key role in DNA repair pathways. It has an N-terminal DNA-binding domain (DBD) encompassing the nuclear localisation signal (NLS), central automodification domain and C-terminal catalytic domain. PARP-1 accounts for majority of poly-(ADP-ribose) polymer synthesis that upon binding to numerous proteins including PARP itself modulates their activity. Reduced PARP-1 activity in ageing human samples and its deficiency leading to telomere shortening has been reported. Hence for cell survival, maintenance of genomic integrity and longevity presence of intact PARP-1 in the nucleus is paramount. Although localisation of full-length and truncated PARP-1 in PARP-1 proficient cells is well documented, subcellular distribution of PARP-1 fragments in the absence of endogenous PARP-1 is not known. Here we report the differential localisation of PARP-1 Nterminal fragment encompassing NLS in PARP-$1^{+/+}$ and PARP-$1^{-/-}$ mouse embryo fibroblasts by live imaging of cells transiently expressing EGFP tagged fragment. In PARP-$1^{+/+}$ cells the fragment localises to the nuclei presenting a granular pattern. Furthermore, it is densely packaged in the midsections of the nucleus. In contrast, the fragment localises exclusively to the cytoplasm in PARP-$1^{-/-}$ cells. Flourescence intensity analysis further confirmed this observation indicating that the N-terminal fragment requires endogenous PARP-1 for its nuclear transport. Our study illustrates the trafficking role of PARP-1 independently of its enzymatic activity and highlights the possibility that full-length PARP-1 may play a key role in the nuclear transport of its siblings and other molecules.
