  • The purpose of this paper is the analysis of to point its structure and meaning deduced from the rite of passage. In the light of the rite of passage, could be retrieved its value as one of significant works among the works of Gangho-sijo. is composed of nineteen pieces of monotype sijo. The first piece is a kind of prologue. The other pieces are divided into three parts which correspond with the three stages of the rite of passage-separation, transition, incorporation. As a result of this analysis, we can find out the writer's cognitive change according to the schema of the rite of passage. It becomes clear that the space of Gangho means the sacred space for mental culture rather than a separate space for escape. And considering the withdrawal for Gangho as the transition process of the rite of passage, gives a description of the disentanglement of conflict and a incorporation into the superior position of spirit.

안도 타다오 교회건축의 디자인특성에 관한 연구 (the Design Character of Ando Tadao's Church Architecture)

  • 현대 교회건축은 그 형태와 공간의 구성 및 디자인방법에서 많은 문제점들을 보여주고 있다. 많은 교회들이 기독교적인 정체성의 표현이 결여된 채 건축되어 지고 있다. 안도 타다오의 교회건축의 특성은 전이공간, 빛과 그림자 그리고 상징의 효과적인 구성으로 나타난다. 전이공간은 한국과 일본 등의 사찰에서의 공간체험의 프로세스를 도입한 것으로 보이며 그것은 예배당을 항해 접근하는 동안 사색의 시간을 제공하며 속의 공간에서 성의 공간으로의 극적인 반전을 가능하게 한다. 안도 타다오는 자립벽을 경계로 성과 속의 공간을 구획하였다. 초기 기독교건축 이래로 빛은 교회건축의 중요한 요소였다. 안도 타다오는 현대교회건축이 잃어버린 빛과 그림자를 효과적으로 도입하여 공간의 깊이와 신성을 표현하였다. 안도 타다오에게서 상징은 모든 것이 절제되어진 그의 건축공간에서 기독교의 정체성을 나타내는 적극적이고 효율적인 표현 방법이다. 그는 상징을 건축이나 공간에 부가적인 요소가 아니라 건축과 일체가 되게 표현함으로서 공간 전체가 하나의 기독교적인 정체성을 나타내는 오브제가 되도록 하였다.

Characterization of EVA/PCM/Silica Compound using Silica

  • A phase-change material (PCM) is a material that has the ability to delay heat transfer by absorbing heat from its environment or releasing heat to its environment while its phase changes from solid to liquid or liquid to solid at a specific temperature. As it is applied, it can contribute to environmental conservation such as energy savings and carbon dioxide emission reduction. In order for a PCM to store and release heat, the volume change during its phase transition should be large, and thus a phase transition space is required. When a PCM is used as a polymer additive, it is confined within the polymer, and there is no phase transition space; thus, its ability to absorb and release heat is significantly reduced. Therefore, in this study, porous silica was used to provide EVA/PCM compounds with sufficient space for their phase transition, and to improve the compatibility between the EVA and PCM, modified silica is used: surface-modified 5 wt% silica with 3-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. The compound was prepared and compared with the silica compound. The presence or absence of the modified silica surface modification was confirmed using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis, the heat capacity of the compound was evaluated based on a differential scanning calorimetry analysis, and its mechanical strength and morphology were determined using scanning electron microscopy.

  • This research tried to observe transition quality of unit plan for public space Korea public operated house since the 1950s. Plane of public-operated house had continually accommodated lifestyle change until present from the late 1950s. "Frontward 3 urface unit 3LDK'composition plans become settle by the representative plane after the 1990s. The process that with special quality change of public space the relation is deep. it is proposed consequently to analyze the space special quality change of the public operated house unit plan style.

교육시설 정책 변천에 따른 초등학교 건축공간 변화 추이 분석 (An Analysis of Transition about Architectural Space on the Elementary Schools with the Change of Policy for School Facilities)

  • This study is carried out to analyze transition about educational facilities of elementary schools with the change of policy and to find out a developmental direction for qualitative improvement. An analysis of blueprints is done to 34 elementary schools representing periodic characteristics after the 1960's. As a result, various cases were shown in arrangement type, unit space, block planning and plane planning of the schools after a abolition of law about the standardization of educational facilities on 1997, however, they were showing a tendency to simplify after the introduction of BTL on 2005. Spatial composition factors were very various in the schools planned from the middle of 1990's to the early of 2000's. Meanwhile, nearly fifty percent of occupying ratio about learning space in the schools of standard type was gradually decreased by modernization planning on 1990's. However, it was increased a little again after the BTL. In case of living area, the occupying ratio was comparatively high in the schools having characteristics of 1990's and it also tends to increase after the introduction of BTL.

  • PSE와 $e^N$-method를 이용하여 익형 위 경계층의 천이지점을 예측하였다. PSE 해석으로 부터 교란의 증폭률을 얻고 증폭률의 적분을 통해 N-factor 곡선들을 계산하였다. 평판 및 익형 위 경계층에 대한 계산결과를 기존 문헌 결과와 비교하여 코드의 검증을 수행하였다. NACA0012, NLF(1)-0414F 그리고 NLF(1)-0416 익형 위 경계층에 대한 천이지점을 예측을 수행하였다. 예측된 천이지점들이 실험결과들과 잘 일치함을 확인하였다.

랜드스케이프 요소를 활용한 실내공간디자인 연출유형에 관한 연구 (A Study on the application types of landscape elements in interior space design)

  • As environmentally friendly life styles become more popular these days, the landscape elements like plants, water, stone etc. which used be considered as just simple interior props, now become the main design concept that decides the whole image of space. The purpose of this thesis is to study the various understandings and approaches on the applications of the landscape elements which are known as the most friendly and positive ways to approach the senses of users, among any other methods and techniques for environmentally friendly elements. The application types of landscape elements in interior space design are as follows; (1) incorporate the surrounding landscape elements. Keeping existing landscape elements, incorporate them into interior elements of beauty; (2) install a transition space with landscape elements; (3) green interior planes ;(4) use landscape as the main design concept; (5) use landscape as decoration elements. Many of landscape spaces incorporated into the interior are often built in a hurry and in low qualities without much consideration of the users and the space. This study intends to set a standard for the application of landscape elements in space design, after collecting various cases that applied the landscape elements in interior space, by categorizing the successful and effective applications into applicable patterns.

Observations of the CH3OH 42-51 E Line Toward the Sgr B2 Region

  • The $CH_3OH$ $4_2-5_1$ E transition was observed toward the Sgr B2 region, including the Principal Cloud and its surroundings. This methanol transition shows an extended emission along the 2'N cloud, which is believed to be colliding with the Principal Cloud and may trigger the massive star formation in this cloud. This extended methanol emission may also suggest that the 2'N cloud is under shocks. We derive total methanol column density $N(CH_3OH)\;=\;2.9{\pm}0.3{\times}10^{14}\;cm^{-2}$ toward the peak position of the extended emission. The fractional abundance of methanol is about 10.9, relative to the estimated total $H_2$ abundance, which is similar to the methanol abundances in quiet gas phase.
