도시철도 7호선 연장 개통에 따른 경인선 수요변화 연구 (The effect of SMRT Line 7 extension on the demand of Gyongin Line)

  • Recently, there has been growing interest in Gyongin Line demand estimation, because SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation) Line 7 will be extended west by 9.8km from Onsu to meet the Gyongin Line at Bupyeong-gu Office. This study was designed to estimate the change of traffic demand in Gyongin Line before and after the completion year 2011, also provide against the economic loss caused by the derived demand from Gyongin Line to SMRT Line 7. In this paper we give preliminary results for the strategic plans for traffic demand estimation and train operating plan in Gyongin Line by analyzing transport performance of Seoul metropolitan subway, and an additional study on the transportation market and the urban development plan is needed for more accurate results.

  • Trains in LRT(Light Railway Transit) system usually have shorter car length than metro's because of their smaller passensers demand. Therefore it is very likely that the load condition of LRT system in abnormal operation, in case of which trains are in close proximity by system broke or train rescue works, could be worse rather than in normal operation, in spite of rare probability of abnormal operation. In this study, the target reliability indexes of several abnormal operations are estimated in accordance with the occurrence probabilities of each abnormal operation case and the reliability index of normal operation presented by the specification. From the indexes, load factors for the abnormal operation cases are estimated and the safety evaluation is performed for Yong-in LRT project.

지방 대도시권 광역전철 구축 전략 (A Strategy to Build a Local Wlde-city Metropolitan Transportation Electric Railway System)

  • Now, the population and economical power is deeply concentrated to Seoul-metropolitan region, therefoere the provinces is so lagging behind and the country cannot get balance development. And, like metropolitan region, the more outer the living area of local wide-area city is spreading, the more serious wide-region transportation problems are. But the railroads near wide-area city fun seldom commuter train, so they cannot absorb the transportation demand of wide-area city metropolitan region. To solve above transportation problem, local wide- area cities try to make a subway or a light rail transit. But it is so difficult because the limit of public finance and original small capacity of light rail. In the paper, I propose 'Local city wide-area electric railways' system of the consortium of 'Local wide-city and province transportation union', Korean National Railroad (KNR) and local capital. A 'Local wide-city and province transportation union' operates commuter railways directly using the facilities of KNR, and local capital invests to the stations of above railways system. Therefore the commuter railway system around local wide-city region will be constructed quickly and the stations will be the strong point of local development and investment.

  • 본 연구에서는 인천 1호선 구간을 대상으로 2009년 집계된 스마트카드 데이터를 활용해 승객좌석점유(혼잡도)와 정시성 지표를 사용하여 도시철도 서비스를 평가하였다. 차량단위의 대중교통 서비스 평가를 위해 개별 이용객의 스마트카드 데이터를 스케줄에 의해 운행되는 차량단위로 집합화하였다. 분석결과 인천 1호선 하행선(계양${\rightarrow}$국제업무지구)의 오전 첨두 시간대(7시-9시)의 차내 혼잡과 차량의 정시도착 측면에서 낮은 서비스 수준을 보이는 것으로 분석되었다. 차내 혼잡도와 정시성 간에는 밀접한 연관성이 있으며 이는 이전 역에서의 높은 승객수요가 지속적인 열차의 연착을 발생시키는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • Recently, there are environmental issues for sustainable transportation system to pursue the energy-efficient and environment-friendly public urban transit. These transportation system needs to offer demand-oriented high-quality service being on the same level with cab service for urban space. PRT(Personal Rapid Transit), small track-guided vehicle, is repeatedly mentioned as a possible alternative for the new urban public transportion system, but but there are not many researches on the operational optimal routing for PRT network. In this paper, the concept of PRT and general optimal routing methods are reviewed. And we suggest the optimal routing method for city-wide PRT network with multi-vehicles and stations, junctions and directional arcs. Futher research directions for PRT routing are presented.

  • Guideway Transportation will provide the break-through to solve the traffic problems, which a lot of big cities have over the world. APM (Automated People Mover) system, Guideway Transportation, is classified by PRT, GRT, and MRT according to the capacity of passenger to be carried by its system. In the Application of PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) system, the enact analysis of the traffic problem on the area to be applied should be preceded. PRT system is characterized by Off-Line and Demand Operation. The Network of PRT system depends on the Load Time and Load Pattern. The operation of PRT system will have move efficient way when it is applied to the network with evenly distributed Load Time and Load Pattern.

  • In order to scheme the optimal assumption that satisfies the travel demand, it should be review the elements that affect on determining the headway, which are signal systems, line shape, vehicle(Light Rail Transit) performance, and so on. When applying the conventional signal systems, including Fixed Block System and Moving Block System, It was confirmed whether or not satisfy the requirements of target line with the way of a numerical formula reviewing and Train performance Simulation on the main line, station, depot, and so forth. Therefore, it should be used as references that decide target line and each sub-system after identifying the compliances for Minimum Headway to Moving Block System.

  • Lately, there is urban transit vehicles in trend that speed is increased and safety are reinforced. In the case of Japan, is developing vehicles that the electric motor of direct drive type for maintenance expense curtailment and noise decrease. It is predicted to happen the demand of EMU met new environment such as wide area railway in domestic. Furthermore, It is need the introduction of vehicles met new standard according to reinforcement of safety standard such as interior finishing material. Therefore, This paper present about the development direction of urban transit vehicles in domestic environment.

  • 본 연구는 철도 네트워크에서의 통행배정 모형에 관한 것이다. 기존의 통행배정모형은 주로 도로 혹은 도시 대중교통 네트워크에 초점을 둔 연구로서, 최적전략 기반 통행배정 모형을 비롯한 대부분의 통행배정 모형 이 지역간 철도 네트워크에 대해서는 비현실적인 수요를 생성한다고 알려져 있다. 특히 KTX개통 이후, KTX가 포함된 환승경로를 이용하는 승객이 점차 증가하는 추세이며, 이러한 KTX가 포함된 환승 경로 및 스케줄이 지속적으로 개선되고 있다. 본 연구는 환승을 고려한 새로운 다항로짓 기반 통행배정 모형을 제시한다. 특히 본 연구에서 제시하는 모형은, 통행 시간, 경로의 최소 운행횟수, 환승 저항 등 다양한 변수가 포함된 효용함수가 주어져 있을 때, K개의 최대 효용을 갖는 경로를 탐색하는 알고리즘을 포함하고 있다.
