  • Relaxed Static Stability(RSS) concept has been applied to improve aerodynamic performance of modern version supersonic jet fighter aircraft. Therefore, the flight control systems are necessary to stabilizes the unstable aircraft and provides adequate handling qualities. The initial production flight control system are verified by flight test and it's always an elements of danger because of flight-critical nature of control law function and design error due to model base design method. These critical issues impact to flight safety, and it could be lead to a loss of aircraft and pilot's life. Therefore, development of an easily modifiable RFCS(Research Flight Control System) capable of reverting to a PFCS(Primary Flight Control System) of reliable control law must be developed to guarantee the flight safety. This paper addresses the concept of SSWM(Software Switching Mechanism) using the fader logic such as TFS(Transient Free Switch) based on T-50 flight control law. The result of the analysis based on non-real time simulation in-house software using SSWM reveals that the flight control system are switching between two computers without any problem.

  • 콘크리트 라이닝의 안정성을 검토하기 위해 지난 수년간 많은 연구가 이루어졌으며, 많은 비파괴 조사 기법들이 개발되고 발전하였다. 이러한 비파괴 조사 기법들은 그 신호 해석 과정에서 대부분 푸리에 이론을 근간으로 하고 있다. 그러나 진동신호에 대하여 푸리에 해석을 적용할 경우 결과는 단지 주파수 영역상에서 확인될 뿐이며, 이러한 결과로는 정확한 대상 신호의 분석을 기대할 수 없다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 충격하중으로 인하여 발생한 비정상 파의 해석을 위하여 웨이블릿 이론을 적용하였으며, 웨이블릿 변환의 적용성을 확인하기 위하여 콘크리트 라이닝을 모사한 모형을 대상으로 실험을 수행하고, 제안된 이론을 바탕으로 콘크리트 라이닝의 두께를 추정하였다. 본 연구로부터 푸리에 변환에 비해 웨이블릿 변환이 뛰어난 분해능을 제공함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 분산성을 갖는 파를 해석함에 있어서도 웨이블릿 변환이 뛰어난 신호 해석법임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The second paper, Part 2, describes the field testing of IEEE type PSS2A EX2000 excitation in the Dangjin 612 MVA T/P #4. The final PSS gain, $K_s$, was determined by inputting 2%-step signals into AVR at a loading of 500MW and increasing $K_s$, from 0 to 15 in increments of 3. After the field testing, the measured data was also analyzed by Discrete Fourier Transformation(DFT) analysis, and the model parameters of generation system were verified by replicating the measured data with the transient stability program.

  • Mordern Ocean-going ships utilize stabilization techniques in order to minimize the effects of oscillations due to the unwanted disturbances. In this paper, as an elementary design of automatic control system with linear-state vari;tble feedback and series compensator for ship stabilization, analysis and design is limited to the linear time-invariant single input and output system. In order for the Controlled system to meet the requirements of stability, accuracy and transient response, a model of the automatic control system is proposed. For the analysis and design of this model, the state-space method, that is, the mordern way, or an alternative to the transfer function method of describing a linear system that utilize the state variables and state equations, is applied.

  • As electricity has been used in ship's propulsion, it is necessary to increase the system voltage and current for the electrical distribution system. So it is required to improve the system safety and efficiency, the power stability, the efficiency of the generation through various analysis of ship's electric power system. In this paper, the electrical service reliability of the power distribution system of semi submersible drilling rigs has been analysed and discussed using ETAP.

  • This paper presents an anaysis of parallel operated HVDC and AC transmissions' transient stability and control analysis by using PACAD/EMTDC program. We measured and analyzed power trasfer in case of various operating conditions including ac, dc faults to find an effects to the power system of the operating conditions. In this project, Simulation of ac/dc parallel system that maximize margins of the ac system and allow a higher power transfer is performed and analyzed.

  • This paper presents a new aggregation method of induction motors for the load flow and transient stability analysis. The proposed method aggregates a group of motors into a single motor considering the variations of the system voltage and frequency so that the aggregated model represents the dynamic characteristics of the system accurately. The performance of the Method is shown by numerical simulation and is compared with that of LOADSYN algorithm.

  • Power system analysis is generally based on computer simulation and time-domain simulation is used to assess it's dynamic performance. This paper deals with the selection of proper integration engine for large-scale power system dynamic simulation. Simulation results obtained from the selected algorithm are compared to those of commercial program.

  • Power system engineers use power systems solution programs such as PSS/E, DSATool, Power World simulators for power system analysis. In this reason, KEPCO has begun to develop independent power system program, KW-PSS(KEPCO World Power system Solution) since 2002 and KW-PSS ver2.0 development was completed in 2011. However, it did not have much better functions compared with other programs. Therefore, we focused on the development of the practical and specialized functions. Consequently, PAZ(Power system AnalyZer) ver3.0 has been developed and it realized a differentiation than previous version. In other words, previous version focused on the basic function of power system analysis, PAZ ver3.0 has implemented many automated functions for power system operators were driven maximize operational efficiency. The unique feature of the implementation is as follows : Automated check for exceeding the breaker capacity, Scheduled outage automation, Control-file wizard for various voltage stability analysis, Scenario-based multiple transient stability analysis and Auto calculation of transmission line impedance. As shown in these functions, Those functions provide to use power system analysis easily by automation and simplification for power system engineers. We will secure national expertise through PAZ ver3.0. In addition it will be able to gain competitive edge through the steady development in the world market.

  • This paper deals with the development and testing of a large-scale, realtime digital power system simulator for the Korean Electric Power Corporation. The KEPS Simulation Center is located at KEPCO's research center (KEPRI) in Taejon, South Korea and has been operated since September 2001. The KEPS Simulation Center includes a wide range of off line power system simulation and analysis tools, as well as an advanced realtime digital simulator for the study of large scale AC and DC system performance. Because the application scope of the KEPS realtime simulator is broad and because the network models being considered are significantly larger and more complex than in traditional realtime simulator applications, many developments and tests have been required during the course of the project. In this paper, the authors describe some of these developments and present results from various benchmark tests that have been performed.
