LES 난류모델을 이용한 초음속 증기 충돌제트의 과도하중 특성에 대한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis on the Transient Load Characteristics of Supersonic Steam Impinging Jet using LES Turbulence Model)

  • In the case of high-energy line breaks in nuclear power plants, supersonic steam jet is formed due to the rapid depressurization. The steam jet can cause impingement load on the adjacent structures, piping systems and components. In order to secure the design integrity of the nuclear power plant, it is necessary to evaluate the load characteristics of the steam jet generated by high-energy pipe rupture. In the design process of nuclear power plant, jet impingement load evaluation was usually performed based on ANSI/ANS 58.2. However, U.S. NRC recently pointed out that ANSI/ANS 58.2 oversimplifies the jet behavior and that some assumptions are non-conservative. In addition, it is recommended that dynamic analysis techniques should be applied to consider transient load characteristics. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an evaluation methodology that can analyze the dynamic load characteristics of steam jet ejected when high energy pipe breaks. This research group has developed and validated the CFD analysis methodology to evaluate the transient behavior of supersonic impinging jet in the previous study. In this study, numerical study on the transient load characteristics of supersonic steam jet impingement was carried out and amplitude and frequency analysis of transient jet load was performed.

Push-Pull Detection 구조 및 빠른 응답 특성을 갖는 LDO 레귤레이터 (LDO Regulator with Improved Fast Response Characteristics and Push-Pull Detection Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 push-pull 감지 회로 구조로 인해 load transient 특성을 개선시킨 LDO를 제안하였다. LDO 레귤레이터 패스 트랜지스터의 입력단과 내부 오차증폭기의 출력단 사이에 제안된 push-pull 감지 회로 구조로 인한 전압 델타 값의 응답 특성을 개선시켜 종래의 LDO 레귤레이터보다 load transient 특성에서 우수한 효과를 가진다. 기존의 LDO 레귤레이터보다 rising time에서는 약 244 ns, falling time에서는 약 90 ns 만큼의 향상된 응답속도를 가진다. 제안된 회로는 Cadence사의 Spectre, Virtuoso 시뮬레이션 tool을 사용하여 samsung 0.13um 공정으로 특성 및 결과를 시뮬레이션 하였다.

주퇴충격하중을 받는 궤도차량 구조물의 천이응력해석 (Transient stress analysis of tracked vehicle structures under recoil impact load)

  • In this study, the transient impact structural stress analysis of tracked vehicle structures under recoil impact load is investigated. ANSYS, ABAQUS Code are used for modelling and analytical procedures. The highest maximum Tresca stress occurs on race ring portion and its stress level is (.sigma.$_{T}$)$_{max}$ =20-40kgf/m $m^{2}$. The second highest stress occurs on upper plate of chassis and down plate of turret. The maximum stress level increases with loading direction and elevation angle. The results from liner static load analysis are very much different with impact analysis. Therefore, the practical solutions of structures under impact load can be obtained by only nonlinear transient impact analysis. The impact stress analysis of the steel vehicle structures is conducted. The maximum stress level is less than (.sigma.$_T/)$_{max}$m $m^{2}$. So, the design concept of steel structures can be adapted for new alternatives.s.s.s..s.

  • This paper presents a vector control of parallel drive, a beatless control and a low switching PWM technique for the propulsion system of Electric car as transient state which are included interrupting line voltage, changing line voltage slowly, suddenly, regenerating light load and starting from backward running. Improved performance and a validation of proposed method is shown by the experimental results using a 1.65MVA IGBT VVVF inverter and inertia load equivalent to 160 tons electric cars through a running and transient state test.

  • A numerical study of transient conjugate heat transfer on micro heater in a micro-channel substrate under a sinusoidal heat load was conducted. It was found that the time constant is not affected by the maximum heating magnitude of the sinusoidal heat load. However, the time constant increases with low duration of the sinusoidal heating period and low Reynolds number. Moreover, there is a threshold where a heater temperature do not reach to time constant at low thermal diffusivity, low flow rate, and low pulse duration of the sinusoidal heating. The time constant should be considered for transient convective heat transfer under transient sinusoidal heat load in a micro heat sink.

  • Load sharing in distributed systems improves systems performance. Research in the field has been focused on steady state performance for load sharing algorithms. However, transient characteristics of such algorithms may be important in a distributed system in which workload for some node is changing. Simulation is the only means to analyze such characteristics. This paper presents a simulation-based analysis of the transient characteristics of four load sharing algorithms ; forward probing, reverse probing, symmetric probing, and multi-threshold symmetric probing algorithms. Discrete event system models for execution of the algorithms in a distributed system has been developed in a SIMSCRIOT II.5 environment. Simulation results indicate that the MSYM algorithm shows the shortest response time in the transient period.

  • In this paper, we developed to artificial neural network for load characteristic identification of power system. We can acquire active power and reactive power of individual load depending on the variation of voltage and frequency from the experimentation of a dynamic characteristic of load. The data of the experimental results were be used in learning of ANN. A proposed ANN model is applied to analyze the transient stability. To demonstrate the propriety of the power system transient stability with load model using ANN, the simulation of the two-machine five-bus system is carried out.

항공기용 서스펜션 장비의 천이구조하중해석에 대한 연구 (Study on Transient Structural Load Analysis of Aircraft Suspension Equipment)

  • In this study, a transient structural load analysis system was constructed to calculate the applied load on the suspension equipment corresponding to the aircraft flight conditions based on military specifications. Aircraft flight data (altitude, velocity, acceleration, angle of attack and etc. at aircraft center of gravity) were used as input parameters and the calculated load of the suspension equipment at wings on the left and right side was printed out for the structural load analysis. As a calculation procedure, first of all, load analysis was carried out at the center of gravity of the external store, Secondly, a trial reaction force analysis was conducted on hook and swaybrace of suspension equipment. All procedure of calculations was programed to analyze the structural load automatically. To verify the numerical results, structural load analysis using the experimental flight data was performed.

  • Piezoelastic materials have recently attracted considerable attention because of their potential use in intelligent structural systems. In this paper, we treat a transient piezothermoelastic problem in a hexagonal plate of crystal class 6mm subjected to antisymmetric heating temperature. We analyze this problem by use of the potential function method. Numerical calculations are carried out for a cadmium selenide solid, and the results are presented graphically in comparison with those derived from the similar problem in a cadmium selenide plate subjected to symmetric heating temperature for a symmetry transient problem.

A Fast Low Dropout Regulator with High Slew Rate and Large Unity-Gain Bandwidth

  • A low dropout regulator (LDO) with fast transient responses is presented. The proposed LDO eliminates the trade-off between slew rate and unity gain bandwidth, which are the key parameters for fast transient responses. In the proposed buffer, by changing the slew current path, the slew rate and unity gain bandwidth can be controlled independently. Implemented in $0.18-{\mu}m$ high voltage CMOS, the proposed LDO shows up to 200 mA load current with 0.2 V dropout voltage for $1{\mu}F$ output capacitance. The measured maximum transient output voltage variation, minimum quiescent current at no load condition, and maximum unity gain frequency are 24 mV, $7.5{\mu}A$, and higher than 1 MHz, respectively.
