As construction project becomes big, PMIS has been progressed and developed as collaboration tool between project participants. But recently it has been transformed from collaboration function tool to one of formal systems, and used as a simple report or just database system. Many researches have been actively studying how to combine BIM to PMIS for solving the problem. There need transferability from PMIS to BIM, however, data size is getting big because of complexity in building size. Many users experience inconvenience in slow loading speed. Therefore, this study suggested an improvement method for high transferability by utilizing virtual technology of IT industry and analyses its suitability.
In this study, the trip characteristics of workers in the city are systematically analyzed. The trip behaviors and socioeconomic characteristics of workers are analyzed using Person Trip Survey Data of 1988 and 1992 in Taegu Metropolitan area. With the results of behavioral analyses, the daily travel pattern of workers is shown as one tour contained two trips and it is relatively simple and stable. Also the rate using the same mode in a day is Presented as high ratio. So, it can be explained that the choice of worker\`s first trip is fixed his/her travel mode for his/her daily travel mode. Based on these analyses, the mode choice model for workers is developed by applying the Multi-nominal Logit Model with the choice set of bus, taxi, and car. The explanatory variables of this model include sex, age, auto, travel time, and cost. Empirical tests of the model show encouraging results. After that, the temporal transferability of the model is examined by the Pairwise t-test and five indexes far the model of 1988 and 1992. The results of examination are satisfied with each significance level of the explanatory variables and five indexes. Therefore. it can be concluded that the temporal transferability of this model developed in this study is resonable.
The authors address the effectiveness of the composite brand extension In the context of international brand alliance. In composite brand extension, four combinations of 4 domestic brands and one internationally well-known brand as header and modifier brands are used as the brand names for four experimental products. The results of analyses reveal that (1) degrees of brand attribute transferability between header and composite brands, and (2) the impact of header and modifier brands on a composite brand appear to be decreasing when the distance of product categories between header and modifier brands are farther. In addition, the authors demonstrate that the fitness between constituent brands and composite brands tends to have more influences on consumers' evaluation of a composite brand than does the complementarity when the distance of product categories between header and modifier brands are farther. Some implications and future research directions are also discussed.
This study was aimed for bettering productivity and technical level of the dental 1 aboratory, and helping the dental technician's benefits and rights, and then endowing them some belonged atmospher and stability on their post by Improving job- satisfaction and maintaining the transferability of one's post at a proper limitation. Therefore, 320 dental technicians extracted randomly from all the technicians working at 494 dental laboratories were subjected for this study. The approach to the study was a way through some postal questionaires executed from March 29, 1988 until May 4, the same year, in which total 254 technicians answered, showing 79% resp"nserate. responserate. The data-analysis was done by a model of the dental technician's transferability from their post, as considering Mobley's(1978)-model of post-transferability, and results through the study are as follows : 1. Satisfaction at a given post showed that the married is better than the unmarried(<0.05), and the experienced is better than the inexperienced(P<0.01). 2. Age, sex, educational experience, and one's service-duration did not affect significantly to the respondent's satisfaction on their post, statistically. 3. Satisfaction at a given post differed in adccordance with given conditions of one's post, i. e.,it stowed high when the monthly payment was good(P<0.05), and when too much duty on their job was given, it was the worst as shown in an example of the next order, too much

The influences of stress triaxiality on ductile fracture have been investigated for various specimens and structures. With respect to a transferability issue, recently, the interests on local approaches reflecting micromechanical specifics are increased again due to rapid progress of computational environments. In this paper, the applicability of the local approaches has been examined through a series of finite element analyses incorporating modified GTN and Rousselier models as well as fracture toughness tests. The ductile crack growth of nuclear carbon steels is assessed to verify the transferability among compact tension (CT) specimens with different in-plane size. At first, the basic material constants were calibrated for standard CT specimens and used to predict fracture resistance (J-R) curves of larger CT specimens. Then, the in-plane size effects were examined by comparing the numerically estimated J-R curves with the experimentally determined ones. The assessment results showed that the in-plane size effect should be considered for realistic engineering application and the damage models might be used as useful tool for ductile fracture evaluation.
Novel cpSSR primers were developed based on the sequence information of the Pinus koraiensis chloroplast genome. A total of 30 cpSSR loci were detected in the chloroplast genome, and a total of 30 primer sets flanking those loci were designed. All primer sets were successfully amplified for chloroplast DNA in P. koraiensis. The cross-species transferability of the 30 primer sets was considerably high in P. pumila (100%) and P. paviflora (97%) belonging to the same Subgenus (Strobus) of P. koraiensis. Meanwhile, the transferability was relatively low (73%) in P. densiflora and P. sylvestris belonging to Subgenus Pinus. A total of 13 cpSSR loci out of the 30 loci were polymorphic in the Mt. Jumbong population of P. koraiensis. The mean of haploid diversity(H) was 0.512. The number of haplotypes(N) and the haplotype diversity($H_e$) were 25 and 0.992, respectively. Of the 25 haplotypes, 22 were unique in the analyzed population. The unique haplotypes differentiated 22 individuals (79%) from the total of 28 individuals. In conclusion, the novel cpSSR primers developed in this study would be applicable to other Pinus species, especially the subgenus Strobus, and provide a high level of polymorphism for the study of genetic variation of P. koraiensis.

In product development, CAD and CAE systems taking part in the design process were individually developed. Furthermore, in product development, different divisions and businesses often have heterogeneous CAD/CAE systems and methods for expressing product data, and addressing this heterogeneity creates additional costs and causes longer development periods. To ensure successful collaboration in the design process, it is therefore imperative that different CAD, CAE, and other related systems be managed in an organic and integrated manner from the initial stages of product development. Therefore, this study suggests an integrated CAD/CAE system including optimization in a more effective and integrated manner but also to support interfacing and the collective use of design and analysis tools. To validate the proposed method, a stiffened plate example is taken as an example. It is found that the proposed method could overcome the bottleneck of CAD and CAE such as transferability of data, though CATIA and ANSYS are used at the moment. Besides, carrying out an optimization process during the CAE process is another essential parts for the structural optimization process.

Little millet (Panicum sumatrense) is well known for its salt and drought stress tolerance and high nutritional value, but very limited knowledge of genetic variation and genomic information is available. This study was to develop highly polymorphic EST-SSR markers based on cross-species transferability of derived SSRs from switchgrass EST databases and characterize newly developed EST - SSRs to better understand the genetic diversity of collected 37 germplasm accessions of little millet. A total of 779 primer pairs were designed from the 22,961 EST sequences of switchgrass (Pancium virgatum), of which 48 EST - SSR markers were developed based on the trials of transferability of these primers in little millet. The EST - SSR amplicons showed reproducible single band polymorphism and produced a total of 160 alleles with an average of 3.3 alleles per locus in 37 accessions of little millet. T he average values of expected and observed heterozygosities were 0.266 and 0.123, respectively. T he polymorphic information content (PIC) values were observed in range of 0.026 to 0.549 with an average of 0.240. The genetic relatedness among the little millet accessions was evaluated by neighbor-joining dendrogram, which grouped all accessions into two distinct groups. The validation thus demonstrated the utility of the switchgrass EST - SSR markers in assessing genomic relationships in little millet. T he findings from this study could be useful for designing strategies for the identification of diverse germplasm for conservation and future molecular breeding programs for little millet.

This study presents a useful heuristic algorithm to classify vehicle classes using vehicle length information, which is extracted from inductive loop vehicle signatures. A high-speed scanning equipment was used to extract more detailed change of inductance magnitude for individual vehicles. Vehicle detection time and individual vehicle speeds were used to derive vehicle length information that is an input of the proposed algorithm. The spatial and temporal transferability tests were further conducted to evaluate algorithm. The spatial and temporal transferability tests were further conducted to evaluate algorithm performance more systematically. It is expected that the proposed method would be useful for obtaining vehicle classification information from wide-spread existing loop infrastructure.
