The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygienists about on-the-job training in public health sector in an effort to stir up their on-the-job training(OJT) and to facilitate the planning of successful educational programs. A survey was conducted nationwide for two months in October and November 2006, and the answer sheets from 811 dental hygienists were analyzed. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. 40.7 percent of the dental hygienists investigated never underwent OJT geared toward public officials, which wasn't linked to oral health. 2. As for the experiences of professional oral health education(or OJT) as members of local public dental clinics by service term, 64.9 percent of the dental hygienists who had worked for less than 10 years never received that kind of education, and 70.5 percent of those with a 15-year or more career received that education just once(p<0.05). The dental hygienists who received that education viewed it favorably, as they found that to be conducive to their job performance. In the event of those who didn't receive that education, a lack of chance to do that was the most common reason. 3. In regard to motivation of receiving professional oral health education(or OJT), the largest rate of the dental hygienists who stood at 71.9 percent received that education voluntarily in pursuit of self-development and better job performance. The training programs provided by the oral health division of the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs were excluded in this study. As to educational spending by the dental hygienists or their employers over the past two years, 56.9 percent paid 100 thousand to less than 500 thousand won. 46.6 percent never paid for that, and about 15.5 percent received education at their own expenses. Concerning the form of OJT, lectures were provided to 50.3 percent. 4. The dental hygienists who worked in local public health clinics hoped for more intensive and better education and training related to oral health projects.
Investigation about training of Private Security in Korea has managed status of training and understanding of issue mostly, systematic analysis about transfer effect as well as learning and determinant of training is insufficient. Consequently this investigation research to examine the effect of training program for newly appointed private security guards to learning and transfer then, to analyze factor through incumbent private security guard-oriented hypothesis testing under article 13, section 1 of the security guard law. To grasp effect factors of learning and transfer, this dissertation establishes research model and research hypothesis through domestic and foreign studies and then theoretical as well as positive literatures consideration in the first place. Conclusion of this investigation through techniques mentioned above and data analysis is as follows. First of all, the personal characteristics, training characteristics, work environment, difference of transfer as well as learning are verified in accordance with Sociodemographic characterist of Private Security Guard. After then, there is a difference of great import. Secondly, the effect of personal characteristics of Private Security Guard to the transfer is inspected. As a result, there is a difference of significance statistical. Thirdly, the effect of training characteristics of Private Security Guard to the transfer is inspected. Consequently, there is a difference of import statistical. The following thing, subsequent to inspection about the effect of work environment of Private Security Guard to transfer, statistical difference of import is.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of an empathy training program on the empathy and bullying's degree for bullies. The research hypotheses set to achieve this goal were as follows. 1. An experimental group that gets empathy training might make a better improvement in empathy immediately after the training than a control group that doesn't, and the effect of the training might last till eight weeks later. 2. An experimental group that undergoes empathy training might show a more significant decrease in bullying's degree for bullies immediately after the training than a control group that doesn't, and the effect of the training might last till eight weeks later. The subjects in this study were 20 children who were designated as bullies when 40 fifth graders from Y Elementary school and 31 children from S Elementary school in the city of T, south Gyeongsang province, took K-PNI. Those children were asked to tell about who were attackers and who were victims, and 10 children each were selected from the two elementary schools as bullies, who were respectively selected as an experimental group and a control group. The empathy training program used in this study was prepared by modifying the empathy training programs developed by Shin Gyeong- il(1994). That program was prepared to be appropriate at fifth grader level. To assess how much the selected children bullied their peers, Kim Seok-jin(1999)'s School Bullying Inventory was utilized. Besides, Song Ho-yeon's revised version to assess the change of counselee empathy was employed. In order to analyze the resulte, ANOVA was implemented. The conclusions obtained from the results and discussion of this study are as follows. First, the empathy training program was effective in changing the empathy of the bullies for the better, and their improved empathy remained the same eight weeks later. Second, the empathy training program had an effect in reducing bullying's degree for bullies, and there was no change in their reduced bullying's degree eight weeks later. Third, the empathy training program served to change their neglecting/ ostracizing and ridiculing/teasing behaviors. And the retention test that was implemented eight weeks later showed the effect of training remained unchanged. Fourth, the empathy training program was effective in changing their cursing/threatening actions according to the posttest results, but the retention test showed that its effect didn't keep on. Fifth, the empathy training program didn't bring any changes to their robbing/striking actions either immediately after the training or eight weeks later.

The future society, a knowledge and information society and at the same time a lifelong learning society, may be defined as the society that will embody the concept of human nature to help all the members of the society live together. The conclusions on the analysis of the types of classrooms $vis-\grave{a}-vis$ the special skills and aptitude training for students, lifelong education programs, and direction of spaces with free access after school hours are as follows : The spaces for school facilities in each domain are elaborated in Table 5. and Table 6. For spaces for special skills, aptitude programs, and lifelong education programs, there are general lecture rooms, special classrooms, and arts and physical fitness classrooms since most of the educational programs consist of culture, jobs, and hobby-related activities. Spaces are divided further into those exclusively for specific subjects and those for common use that can be utilized after school hours. They are presented in Table 8. Based on the conclusion with respect to the laying out of spaces in regular high schools, exclusive spaces for each subject and spaces for common use after school hours should be separately arranged.
This paper tests the economic effects of employee participation programs. We suggest framework that emphasizes the mutual gains through the interaction of employee participation programs with complementary practices-employment security, training, rational wage systems, information sharing and empowerment-. In regression analysis, we find positive effects on the productivity. And also we test significant differences of participation level and complementary level between win-win group(high productivity and low turnover) and lose-lose group(low productivity and high turnover) through the t-test and discriminant analysis. This facts suggest that employee participation programs contribute to mutual gains.

Purpose: To identify current status of university health care program. Methods: Data and information from homepages of 309 colleges or universities in South Korea were collected. The data was analyzed by frequencies, t-test, ${\chi}^2$ test with SPSS Ver. 18.0. Results: 117(37.9%) universities had organization of health care. Whether university had health care program or not had shown significantly depended on number of students, types of school (university or college), region, and existence of medical and nursing course. Medical course was shown as a strong predictor for facilitating university health care program limitedly focusing on diseases treatment. Health promotion programs have been operated in 15 universities, vaccination programs in 10 universities, and health screening in 20 universities. Conclusion: It is strongly recommended to revise the School Health Law for constructing a comprehensive university health care program consolidating health counseling and physical training.
Objectives: Emotional support and a stress management program should be simultaneously provided to clients as effective preventive services for healthy behavioral change. This study was conducted to review various relaxation and meditation intervention methods and their applicability for a preventive service program. Methods and results: The author of this paper tried to find various relaxation and meditation programs through a literature review and program searching and to introduce them. The 'Relaxation Response' and 'Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)' are the most the widely used meditative programs in mainstream medical systems. Abdominal breathing, Progressive Musclular Relaxation (PMR), Relaxative Imagery, Autogenic Training (AT) and Biofeedback are other well-known techniques for relaxation and stress management. I have developed and implemented some programs using these methods. Relaxation and meditation classes for cancer patients and a meditation based stress coping workshop are examples of this program. Conclusions: Relaxation and meditation seem to be good and effective methods for primary, secondary and tertiary preventive service programs. Program development and standardization and further study are needed for more and wider use of the mindbody approach in the preventive service area of medicine.
This study was a qualitative investigation of the process of adaptation of nutrition education programs by marriage immigrant women who completed education programs for training of food citizen leaders. Focus group interviews of seven marriage immigrant women from Vietnam, China, Mongolia and Russia were conducted and analyzed based on the Normalization Process Theory (NPT). Participants were aware of the purpose of the education program (coherence) and their confidence in organizing and reconstructing the knowledge of nutrition was increased after education (reflexive monitoring). However, they had difficulties attending long-term education programs (cognitive participation) and overcoming language barriers (collective action). Although the program was beneficial for the participants in that they could apply acquired nutrition knowledge to their everyday life as food citizen leaders, the continuous monitoring and feed-back system (management), customized application, and consideration of personal and social factors need to be developed and facilitated. In addition, various programs targeting marriage immigrant women may increase economic independence of these women. The NPT proved beneficial in conceptualizing the barriers and facilitators to implementing nutrition education. The successful implementation of nutrition intervention needs special support to overcome barriers to cognitive participation and collective action.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for developing an educational program that can be practically applied in the field of survival swimming education. Research design, data, and methodology: This study reviewed prior literature including governmental reports, journal articles related to survival swimming programs at home and abroad. Based on the basic data collected through literature, domestic and foreign educational institutions and national educational programs were cataloged and analyzed. Results: The study found that among the goals of swimming education, the prevention of water accidents and the cultivation of water safety skills along with improving swimming ability are very important educational goals. Currently, domestic survival swimming education programs are divided into classes and training sessions, so it is necessary to develop an educational program according to each individual's swimming ability and a unified and systematic program through education for each level of survival swimming learners. Conclusions: It is thought that the reinforcement of the leader's capacity for quality improvement will have a positive effect for the development of survival swimming. Further implications were discussed.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, several studies focused on financial programs and SMEs' performance, but research on the relationship between non-financial programs, resilience, and SMEs' performance is still sparse. This study fills the gap by analyzing the role of local government in increasing SME resilience and performance by purchasing products (through civil servants) from SMEs and by facilitating online training to SMEs. This study also investigates the role of the local government in strengthening the relationship between resilience and SME performance. Data was collected using an online questionnaire distributed to SMEs in Malang Regency. As many as 410 questionnaires were received and eligible for statistical analysis using WarpPLS. The results show that resilience is positively and significantly related to the performance of SMEs. The local government programs have been proven to improve SME performance directly and indirectly through resilience. Local government programs are not proven to strengthen the relationship between resilience and the performance of SMEs, indicating that the role of government in developing countries such as Indonesia is more appropriate to be "rowing rather than steering" not "steering rather than rowing".
