  • In the real environment, it is not easy to get the effective training or to simulate several hazard situations for safety because of the direct exposure to the hazards of the actual system. But the virtual environment(VE) can help the users to get the effective training or to simulate all kind of possible situations without the exposure to the harzards of the actual system. Therefore, the number of virtual reality(VR) application for safety will be increased dramatically in the future. This paper proposes a category of VR applications and also the steps to develope the VE for emergency management.

  • Critical incident can be happened at any time, any places without any pre-notification. For minimizing the loss of the life safety, financial and so on caused by the risk, most of company needs a system what can activate the critical incident management plan to prevent, plan for and respond to events that become critical incident. But a lot of company still don't have such a detailed system in our country and almost company has no effective training way for to boot. This paper shows the way to activate the risk management system to work efficiently the plan. The training way, proposed by this paper, is a incident command simulator based on virtual reality and scenario generation software.

  • Recent changes in the health care environment have directed increasing attention to the number and specialty mix of practicing physicians. A major concern identified in Korean health care system is the serious oversupply of specialists and a relative lack of primary care physicians. Currently only 21% of Korean physicians are primary care physicians(general practitioners and family physicians), and less than 10% of recent medical school graduates are choosing to enter primary care. More primary care physicians are needed to deal with major problems in the current health care system, such as cost and access. The infrastructure that relies on primary care physicians is needed to deliver cost-effective and efficient care. To achieve a better balance of primary care to non-primary care physicians. more medical students need to choose careers in one of the primary care specialties(family medicine. internal medicine and pediatrics). This paper suggests the necessity of reforming the Korean graduate medical education system, that is, establishing the path of training primary care physicians in internal medicine and pediatrics residency training programs.

  • An important factor in education is ensuring reliable quality of education. There are a variety of ways based on criteria to ensure the quality of education. To ensure quality management, attendance is important which is highly reliable rating at the account education of Ministry of Employment and Labor and sevice training of Health Care. In contrast, the service training of health care professionals was consisting of formal attendance management, quality of education has been raised as a problem. Recently developed USN-based attendance management system is effective. But if education is proceed at a large number of small scale in the area of education, cost, portability, systeme management, the reliability of the Trainee's attendance remained as problems to solve. To address these needs, this paper quoted low-cost attendance management system which was desighned and implemented by barcode and PC camera. As a result the actual maintenance training system showed a 98% satisfaction in terms of administrator and 95% satisfaction in terms of Trainee.

  • A nurse is give much weight in the professions of hospital. The effective achievement of a goal of hospital organization needs to get nurses to contribute the structure positively through the rational personnel management of the nurses. The operation of performance rating system is necessary to improve because the nurses hold negative opinions about the resonable management of that system in most Korean hospitals. Therefore, the prupose of this research was to suggest an efficient method to solve the problem in connection with the management of nurses performance rating system. The results of the study are summarized as follows.1. As the performance rating implies the evaluation of employee's functional accomplishment and ability, and essential condition of the job was surveyed according to the job analysis of nursing activities and nurse position. That is to say, Nusrses' performances and capability is estimated in comparision with the condition of the job. 2. It is required adequacy for evaluation factors in performance rating. That is, $\circled1$ as for those who work in psychiatry or newborn baby room they should be appraied in terms of different factors from those applicable to whom work in a general staffs. $\circled2$ Evaluation factors should be concrete so that the quality and quantity of work and the potential ability of them can be correctly appraised. 3. In order to realize the object of perfamance rating system, the training on chief nurses are quite important. Also, careful practices and continuous supplementary training are required before the system is introduced.First of all, the appropriate evaluation can be mad by continuing to record the rating objects every day for the purpose of obtaining the objectivity of rating. 4. In course of transfering of the position and training, the induction of self-rating system and presentation of self-description is required to supplement functionally the performance rating system. 5. For the efficiency of nurses' performance rating system, the results of performance rating system must be reflected in promotion, allocation and training course, which makes the nurses have the motives and the organization accomplish the goal of modern nursing through its activation.

  • Biosafety has become quite sensitive issues according to dramatic development of biotechnology and LMO(Living Modifying Organism) is one of the key issue in biosafety. This study is an exploratory research for investigating the activation strategy of biosafety training management in LMO research field. Based on the survey data, main results are derived through various statistical analysis methodology such as descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, analysis of variance and regression analysis. According to the analysis results, some activation strategies are required to reach the target such as extension of specialized biosafety training program, enhancement of safety consciousness from the undergraduate courses, introduction of appropriate safety regulations, unification of safety management and establishment of safety management system.

  • Construction management requires decision-making skills. Main approaches to training construction management students are: (1) analyzing sample situations involving decision-making; and (2) teaching logical decision-making procedures. The absence of 'pressure' factors in these approaches has significant impacts on the success of the training. The approaches also lack 'dynamic' effects that help create a spontaneous plan for construction projects where unforeseen changes and interruptions may occur. To minimize the adverse effects of the existing approaches, this paper proposes a framework for developing a web-based training system. The application is delivered as a game involving decision-making on the student's part in response to developments at the job-site, and where one student competes against another in an attempt to simulate a real-world scenario.

  • Top-notch global construction firms have been responding strategically in order to survive in a rapidly-changing market environment by training and securing excellent human resources. The purpose of this study is to propose a guideline for establishing a strategic human resources management system for the Chinese construction sector. Specifically, this study intends to suggest an overall strategic plan for improving the human resources management system based on the research outcomes obtained through an analysis of the Chinese construction market and human resource management practices. To meet the proposed research purpose, questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews were conducted in China. The analysis results indicated that Chinese construction firms are generally not prepared to carry out efficient training programs. In addition, the available contents and materials for education and technical training are extremely limited. Based on the problems drawn from the analysis results, an overall plan for the improvement of the education system is suggested.
