This is close to the city population, 57 percent of people use the subway and found that 57 percent of people use the subway and found that this is close to the city population. Motor vehicle indoor air quality, especially of the major factors affecting is passenger's clothing, cosmetics, adhesives and formaldehyde by the action and so are able to keep. Enclosure 30ppm formaldehyde during prolonged exposure at concentrations above the nose, bronchial cough and a burning can cause symptoms. It is necessary to introduce an appropriate ventilation system. 1-4 Line Press in 2008, leaving the subway, and normally the train measured in room air quality. Measurements in 2005, $19.3{\sim}83{\mu}g/m^3$, 2008 Year ND ~ $61.7{\mu}g/m^3$ is. When congestion(rush hour) to temporarily increase the formaldehyde can result in a higher number. Automatic detection of formaldehyde and improve ventilation to a practical system, and it is necessary to chatneun. • The boundary estimation problem is used to estimate the shape of organic depend on the phase of the cardiac cycle or interested in the detection of the location and size of anomalies with resistivity values different from the background tissues such as nuclear reactor. And we can use the method to solve the optimal solution such as modified Newton raphson, kalman filter, extended kalman filter, etc. But, this method consumes much time and is sensitive to the initial value and noise in the estimation of the unknown shape. In the paper, we propose that multi-layer neural networks estimate the boundary of the unknown object using Fourier coefficient. This method can be used at the real time estimation and have strong characteristics at the noise and initial value. It uses voltage change; difference the homogeneous voltage to the non-homogeneous voltage, and change of Fourier coefficient change to train multi-layer neural network. After train, we can have real time estimation using this method.

  • The maintenance method for the electrical facility of high speed railway has been evolved from inspection by personnel to the automated way by the detection devices. In particular, the signalling equipment in order to increase the safe and efficient operation of the trains is required to maintain normal operation by periodic maintenance. Because the return current gives the most important effects to the wayside equipment in case of the failures, a method is needed to measure the unbalanced rate of return current on the train at high speed driving. The Hot Box Detector(HBD) device that is installed at track-side has a function to recognize the abnormal axle box by detecting the temperature that occurs in the axle of train passing over its device. In order to implement the measurement equipment for unbalanced rate of return current and axle temperature, the design method is proposed and the experimental test results by test bed are included in the paper.

  • Faults of rotating parts of a train normally generate unexpected frequency band or impulsive sound[1] which has a period when it moves with a constant speed. The former can be detected by the moving frame acoustic holography method, which visualizes sound field that is generated by a moving and emitting pure tone or band limited noise source. We have attempted to apply the method to the latter case: the periodic impulsive sound which generate different signal compared with what can be measured by the band limited noise. The signal to noise ratio which determines the success of early fault detection must also be studied with the impulsive and moving signal. This research shows how the problems related with these issues can be resolved. The main idea is that periodic impulsive signal can be expressed by infinite set of discrete pure tones. This enables us to obtain lots of holograms that visualize periodic impulsive sound field including noise by using the moving frame acoustic holography method. Therefore holograms can be averaged to improve the signal to noise ratio until having reliable information that exhibits where the impulsive sources are. Theory and experiment by using the miniature vehicle are described [Work supported by BK21 & KRRI].

  • KHST(Korean High Speed Train) has been utilized the total measurement system which evaluates the efficiency and a breakdown of the vehicle and it's results effect to secure reliability of the vehicle. Generally KHST has been received pulse signals from the wheel. It calculates the travel distance after counter the signals to confirm location information of the vehicle. However, there is a limit to measure the location of the vehicle due to slip, slide and the wheel attrition. We have developed a new measurement system by using GPS to complement those errors. In general, GPS receivers are composed of an antenna, tuned to the frequencies transmitted by the satellites, receiver-processors, and a highly-stable clock The GPS mounted on the roof of TT4 in KHST receives a signal from the RS232 communication port. It is connected to the network system in TT3 after converting with TCPIP communication. It is able to track the position of vehicle and synchronize the signal from different measurement system simultaneously. Therefore it is able to chase the fault occurrence, track inspection and electrical interruption at real-time situation more accurately. There is not an error coursed by vehicle conditions such as slip and the slide.

  • Existing speech recognition algorithm have a problem with not distinguish the order of vocabulary, and the voice detection is not the accurate of noise in accordance with recognized environmental changes, and retrieval system, mismatches to user's request are problems because of the various meanings of keywords. In this article, we proposed to event based semantic ontology inference model, and proposed system have a model to extract the speech recognition feature extract using ERB filter. The proposed model was used to evaluate the performance of the train station, train noise. Noise environment of the SNR-10dB, -5dB in the signal was performed to remove the noise. Distortion measure results confirmed the improved performance of 2.17dB, 1.31dB.

  • We propose a BASK (Binary Amplitude Shift Keying) system for Giga-bit Modem in millimeter band. The proposed system consists of a high speed shutter of the transmitter and a repeater of the receiver. The shutter of the proposed system is introduced for pulse shaping to improve the intersymbol interference (ISI). The repeater consists of several stage converters. A converter is constructed with a low pass filter and a limiter. The repeater can improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and make the rectangular pulse train. The proposed system is a simple system that uses conversion method without IF (Intermediate Frequency) process.

  • It is necessary to receive telegrams transmitted by transponder tags installed along the track in order to detect the exact position of a high-speed train. In a high-speed railway environment, telegrams can be corrupted by the electromagnetic interference that comes from onboard electric train power equipment or wayside devices. In this study, we verified the railway environment compatibility of a high-speed transponder system developed as a train position detection system. We installed transponder tags on the Honam high-speed line and measured the number of error-free telegrams received from the transponder tag while the HEMU-430X was running at 268km/h~334km/h. Based on the measurement, we estimated the length of the contact zone formed between the transponder reader and tag. Field test results allow us to estimate how many error-free telegrams can be received when HEMU-430X is at speeds up to 400km/h.

  • An auxiliary real-time train communications system among drivers, train-traffic controllers and field workers is necessary to share hazard information (i.e. rockfall detection, track maintenance) in low visibility zones (long tunnels and steep curved track). To develop the appropriate communication system, this paper proposes a new way of power line communication using the rail track (Rail - PLC), which has little noise and distortion of attenuation. Therefore, it is important to measure the impedance of the rail and to apply an impedance matching technique to increase the transmission characteristic of the Rail - PLC. This study would evaluate the reflection and the transmission characteristics of the rail using a network analyzer and an impedance matching transformer. The suitable impedance matching ratio was 1:3.28 from the result of back-to-back testing. The results confirmed that the transformer can improve the performance of the transmission signal in Rail - PLC using an impedance matching technique.
